All about this set
Travel to Endor and visit the treetop home of the Ewoks. Just like in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, this recreation of the Ewoks' forest dwelling is packed with cool functions, including the tree-trunk hideout, secret Lightsaber stash, spider web, net traps, slide, catapults and an elevating throne. Use the rammer function to take out the Scout Trooper's speeder - just like in the movie! Realistic details include rope walkways, vine and leaf elements, kitchen, food storage area, bedroom and a planning room. The Ewok Village set is the perfect addition to your LEGO Star Wars collection.
This is by FAR my favorite LEGO set that I own (I have many and this is not the most expensive). I would recommend this set over the Slave 1 for both presentation and playability. The Ewoks are adorable and I've posed my figures in several different ways to represent different scenes. The Star Wars line has lots of ships and boring grays, tans, and blacks but this set adds lots of color and gives a SETTING to play in. The only other one I know of in its league is the newer Hoth set... I don't own that one but I've seen the pictures and it doesn't look quite up to par. If you have the money and love Star Wars sets then this one is a must! This is by FAR my favorite LEGO set that I own (I have many and this is not the most expensive).
