Brilliant value set

I bought this set for my 2.5 year old son and I'm majorly impressed with this set. We're a household of Lego fans and my son plays with Duplo while he's too young to play with the "big kids" Lego that we have! The set comes with three wheel bases - which is great means no arguing when he has a friend over to play and they both want to build cars at the same time - and lots of pieces for building trucks, tow trucks, emergency service vehicles, petrol stations and all sorts! The variety of bricks that come with the set is brilliant for encouraging imaginative and creative play - some of the "theme" sets can be a bit limiting, and the bricks can also complement, and be complemented by, the other Duplo sets that we have in the house. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a vehicle-daft child and will be repeat purchasing for my nephew's second birthday.

Great set for building creativity

The Creative Cars set is perfect for building creativity in little ones. With many interchangeable parts for building a variety of cars and vehicles, it makes it easy for the novice learning builder to create without being too challenging. The parts can easily form different configurations and still look good as they learn to have fun building with DUPLO and LEGO. My only complaint is the hose doesn't stay attached very well and falls off most creations. This is the perfect set for getting kids to build realistic models without being too complicated and for getting them hooked early on LEGO.

Durable and fast

I bought this set for our little (20 months old boy) as his first Lego set. Now we have a lot fun with composing cars, racing them and making crash tests. Chassis are incredibly strong, durable and fast enough. It is completely up on your imagination to build them like a truck, van or like a racing or a police car. The hose and the engine are the most popular bricks for us.
