Great building set
Great experience for my 7yo.
Came a day early and it was just the one i wanted
This set is spectacular. If you are a fan of LEGO and Japan, you should definitely buy it. The box is of good quality with details, and the fact that the manual has photos and information about each building is very valuable. I am very happy with the purchase.
"Hello, fellow parents and LEGO enthusiasts! Today, I'm sharing our experience with the LEGO Architecture Skylines: Tokyo 21051 Building Kit, a collectible architecture building set for adults that we gifted to our 10-year-old son. Our son is an experienced LEGO builder, having completed numerous Architecture sets, and this one did not disappoint. It's a 5-star product in our books, and here's why. Firstly, the design and detail of this set are truly remarkable. It captures the essence of Tokyo's iconic skyline, featuring landmarks like Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Tower, Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower, Tokyo Big Sight, and Chidorigafuchi Park. It's a fantastic way for our son to learn about world architecture while having fun. The complexity of this set is just right. It's designed for adults, but our 10-year-old son, with his experience, was able to complete it in a few hours. It was challenging enough to keep him engaged, but not so difficult that it became frustrating. It's a testament to LEGO's thoughtful design that it can cater to a wide range of ages and skill levels. What we love most about this set is the sense of accomplishment it gives our son. Completing the build is a rewarding experience, and the finished product is something he's proud to display in his room. It's not just a toy, but a collectible piece of architecture that sparks conversations and admiration. The LEGO Architecture Skylines: Tokyo 21051 Building Kit is a fantastic gift for any young LEGO enthusiast or budding architect. It's educational, fun, and results in a beautiful model to display. We couldn't be happier with this purchase, and our son is already looking forward to his next build!"

It is a perfect way to appreciate the beauty of Tokyo, even if you have never been there!
The price was exactly as described. Looks great assembled and is a fantastic reminder of our trip.
Price-quality ratio is skewed, it becomes really too expensive.
The build difficulty is low and easy to follow. The finished product is beautiful, but there is one negative aspect. The base of the skyscraper is long and uses several white rubber pieces hanging vertically to represent the shape, but it doesn't create the clean curve seen in the pictures. The resulting skyscraper is a bit distorted.
Kids loved to do it. It can be completed in a few days by children aged 7 to 9.
I love LEGO, especially all the architecture pieces. They are so beautiful and the kids love them. I started collecting them slowly and got this one at a decent price. I enjoyed it and now it sits beautifully on the shelf.
For those who have been to Tokyo, this is a real treat. The Gakuen Mode Tower is actually only two-sided and not three, but that's just a minor detail ;) The age recommendation of 16+ is too high. My nephew, who is 6, built the set with a little help, and it went very well.
I am a fan of Tokio. The building is small, but incredibly beautiful as a decoration. It is not difficult to assemble and is definitely fun as a quick project in between. I was able to assemble it (without any LEGO experience) in two hours. Definitely recommended for fans of Japan.
Looks great, although the cherry blossom trees are very disproportionate to the rest of the set...otherwise, I really enjoyed the build, and the final product does make a great display piece. Overall, it's a bit expensive (but it's LEGO, so that's not surprising), but it's worth it if you are a fan of city landscapes.
Beautifully designed LEGO set, together with the instruction booklet, it provides a fun overview of the city of Tokyo. Very fun for those who have also visited this city in person. The instructions are clear, and building this set is very enjoyable. Furthermore, the result is a reasonably sturdy one, except for the Tokyo Sky Tree, which is a bit wobbly. (That's why it's not quite 5 stars)
My 12-year-old son finished it in a maximum of two hours. Too bad. Few pieces and hardly any fun. The result is nice, but there is no challenge, so I don't understand why it's recommended for ages 16+.
It was very fun to put together, not too difficult but challenging enough for a long LEGO session. It shows many famous landmarks of Tokyo. The size is perfect, and once assembled, it is also a beautiful eye-catcher. I definitely recommend this.
