Nice details
As I have mainly built other large LEGO sets for adults, this is my first LEGO Architecture set. My first thought was: so many pieces for this size of the building. But it quickly became clear why. This set is really very detailed with many small pieces. When you look at the finished result, the design gives a nice simplicity, until you get closer and delve into the details, which is really cool. The set is now prominently displayed in my living room, fitting perfectly with our interior in terms of color and is a great eye-catcher. In terms of construction, this is a precision job, so you can take your time. It's a lovely and relaxing experience to build with a nice piece of music in the background. Regarding LEGO Architecture: I hope there will be many more to come!
Very fun and beautiful building kit from LEGO.
Very nice and well-packaged set that assembles logically. Ideal for relaxation after a workday. Finally assembled in 3 (short) evenings with a very beautiful result. It assembles easily thanks to the clear and easy-to-follow instructions. The result is very beautiful! The attention to detail has always been a plus in LEGO Architecture sets! In addition, the instructions - as always - contain fun "did you know" facts about the White House. Very nice set, also for adults :) Definitely recommended!
Wonderful LEGO set
When I opened the package, I was immediately excited about the beautiful box containing The White House. Very chic. I was eager to start building right away. The LEGO is nicely compact and detailed, and a lot of information (although only in English) can be found in the booklet about the building and its history. You start with the central part of the house, followed by the west and east wings. Because the pieces are loose, all the details are clearly visible. It is definitely advanced LEGO, so you need to pay attention while building, which was sometimes a bit disappointing. The finished building is not very large, so it takes up little space. I haven't made Architecture LEGO before, but I have already purchased the next two sets. I was really looking forward to starting, and my expectations have been exceeded! A beautiful set, a feast for the eyes!
The White House
After a long wait, I finally received the white house. The white house is one of the first releases in the new Lego line for adults. The set also has an age recommendation of 18+, but it is also perfectly suitable for children (from 8 years old). The box itself looks sleek. All parts are neatly packaged in bags. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, with references to the real white house, which is fun to read about. The building techniques are also accessible for beginners, but there is a lot of repetition. The level of detail is good, with small additions such as the trees that match the real white house perfectly. The only downside we have found is that only the exterior is built. Is it a truly 18+ set? No, but the set only has this indication because it is included in the new Lego line for adults. The building time for the entire set is approximately 4-8 hours. Overall, it is a fun set to build.
Fantastic
My family is completely into LEGO. My wife and I had already been collecting LEGO, and secretly building it ourselves, for the children even before they were born! Our children both have their bedrooms full of LEGO City trains, houses, and vehicles. They can spend hours playing with it! Then came the White House! The box says 18+, but my 6-year-old son, who is actually much smarter than his age, was able to build it perfectly with a little help from dad, of course. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Some of the instructions did require some thought, but in the end, we realized that we were being too difficult. Recommended for any LEGO fan! The details of the White House are beautiful. It's a shame that it's not also furnished inside, but the exterior makes up for it! It's great that there are different pictures of the real White House and its original blueprints in the booklet!
The White House
Today I put together the LEGO White House from the Architecture series. Unlike the LEGO Technic series, this building is simply about stacking bricks. Just like LEGO used to do. The box says 18+, which I don't understand, because a 10-year-old can also build this. The quality is as we expect from LEGO: excellent. All the bricks are neatly packed in numbered bags. You naturally start with bag 1. The fit is excellent. The bushes and trees look quite childish. This could be better. The instructions are clear and leave nothing to be desired. At each drawing, you see what you need and how to put it together step by step. In addition, the instructions regularly mention special features of the White House. Conclusion: Fun to build for the "old-fashioned" LEGO fan. Also good for children. If you want more spectacle, then the Technic series is much more fun.
