Nice set, bigger than expected

Cracked Bricks :(

I’ve been building Lego as long as I can remember, I’m a big fan. However, I cannot recommend the set. Three of the four ankle joints on the tiger cracked almost immediately. And two pieces in the body of the Tiger show cracks. I build for display not play so I can only guess the cracks are a result of poor quality materials. I hope this is a one off situation and this isn’t indicative of the future of Lego and the quality of their bricks.

STUNNING

I have always looked at Lego as art. This Majestic Bengal Tiger is Lego Art at its best! The ability of them to have designed this animal (one of my favorite animals) in bricks is mind blowing. Posable. Regal. Colorful. As a collector, I don’t purchase a lot of sets. I’m pretty selective and don’t like clutter. I like awesomeness. Beautiful Lego Koi Fish

This set is beautiful and well designed! We searched high and low for a koi fish set and found it in this 3 in 1 Majestic Tiger set. We added whiskers, flowers, and few other pieces from the set to make him a “King Koi”!

Excellent Build Quality and Detail

This model has a high level of detail. All three models are well-designed, but the tiger is excellent, including internal anatomy, highly positionable body parts, and - as real cats like to show us so often, a little pink circle under the tail . I am fairly critical of the direction Lego has taken in recent years , catering to the "man-child with money" and offering little more than dumbed-down franchise garbage for kids: "Look! A scene from a recent movie with three character minifigs! 400 pieces. Give us $120.") Most models drastically overpriced. But this set is a fun build, nice to keep, nice to piece out, and pretty good value for the money. The variety of unique small pieces, connectors, finishing parts is great and would provide a lot of good re-use value for creative "non-blocky" builds.

Fantastic Build - One of My Favorites

I'm all for larger, multi-thousand piece sets, but this ~700 piece set remains one of my favorites. The main tiger build is easy and fun to put together, and is visually striking after it's finished. The tiger also has considerable heft to it and feels very solid. The legs, paws, head, mouth, and tail are all movable providing many different posing opportunities. The trees and parrot add a little bit of jungle flair to make your tiger look right at home. I love the tiger so much that I haven't tried either of the alternate builds, but they do look cute. I might pick up a second copy at some point to check them out. But make no mistake, the tiger build is awesome and I highly recommend it.

One of THE best LEGO sets

I pounced on the Majestic Tiger when I caught it on sale and I am glad I did! I recommend this set to both kinds of LEGO fans: the Players and the Displayers. Normally, I only buy the larger 18+ sets, so this was an odd purchase for me. The building process was of course much shorter than I was used to, but very enjoyable! The Tiger comes together using several clever building techniques. And what a cool detail that it is built out of pink, red, and beige bricks on the inside to represent organs and bones. In line with that anatomical accuracy, there is a pink flower element used in a way that gets a laugh out of everyone I show it to. The Tiger is brilliantly articulated, so you can put it in several cool poses in your display case, but I also imagine that it makes it a lot of fun for kids to play with. I am obsessed with this big cat! My hope is that LEGO will start an entirely line of large, articulated, realistic animals just like this.
