Really great little Landy

I’ve wanted to pick this model up for a while. It really is a lively little Landy model. If I were super-critical, I’d say I’d like it to be an 8-stud wide model so it would look right next to Speed Champions, but it’s still great

A must have

I love this jeep. The build was thoughtful. Simple yet unpredictable at times. I always appreciate that. I especially like the fact that there’s the option of having it set up in multiple ways- hard roof cover, open top etc. It’s a must have piece. Got it for my wife and she loves it

Great concept- not great execution

Building this is easy- getting it to stay together is the hard part. I build the sets and my kids play with them. They could not play with this. The front falls off every 5 seconds and the top comes off too easily (it’s supposed to come off easy enough to put the people in, but this is too easy). Also the way the front goes on makes it so the front tires won’t move, which is likely what’s making the front fall off (you try to move the car and the tires push the front off) so to get it to stay I actually had to take off the little two squares that went above the front tires and I had to craft glue the front on. It also didn’t come with the Land Rover sticker to put on the front which was disappointing. I wouldn’t buy it again but it’s a cute design and I would recommend it to someone who only plans to display it.

Basic and overpriced

It is a nice car, but basic build and overpriced. I feel more parts are required for this price. I feel it is missing a bar on the inside top of the roof at the back. Colour variation would be nice and more subtle details would be great (wheel cover, white part for inside roof, no blue elements that show under the chassis, accessories on the roof...), But I addressed some of that, see my pics. That is why LEGO is great. This product however can be easily be built with bin parts and is too expensive for what is on offer here. Tata/Land Rover must get a bit cut off that price!

Perfect fit

My husband gifted me this kit to fit into my modular series cityscape and it’s scape works perfectly. The figurine actually looks like me and I also love pineapples, so this couldn’t have been better for me and I love it

Lovely set which could be even better!

Lovely set as it is minifigure scale and well priced - I just wish the colour was better eg dark green or tan. Also Lego if you sold a separate pack for upgrades it would sell very well!

feel sad about sticker

I buy a brandnew box set of land rover, and than i am happy to unboxing it, and found the sticker is having defect. I was so upsad about the sticker. Is it possible to provide a box to protect the sticker please?

mini size, mega fun

this build was super fun and is a great little addition to the other defender sets. after building the two bigger ones, this was a quick but fun build that really came together nicely as the build continued. would totally recommend!

Land Rover Defender

Loved the build, love the model. It was quick and easy to build and the finished product looks great. My only issue is that the colour doesn't suit the vehicle. A Land Rover is meant to be unassuming and subtle, not bright yellow. Would prefer it in Dark Green.
