I specifically chose this set because it focuses purely on the technical aspects. There are no motors or app-based controls, so it guarantees hours of fun. The technical aspects are clearly visible, and the "engine cover" with all the pneumatic hoses underneath is removable. A few hours of building enjoyment. The downside of the pneumatic functions is that they are not as precise, but practice makes perfect. Another downside is that the crane has a large turning radius – dual control would have been better and could have been easily implemented (even retrofitted).
