Nice, but assembling the capsule is difficult during play.
Son (almost 9) bought this with his birthday money. He is very happy with his purchase, but he has cried several times when he tried to press the escape pod into the spaceship, causing the structure to fall apart. This has happened twice now, and he has lost interest in building LEGO structures after the third time (re)building. So we will see... However, he still has two more LEGO Star Wars sets on his wish list that he also wants. The LEGO Star Wars set is very appealing and fascinating for our 9 and 6-year-old boys, even though they have only seen occasional fragments of the cartoon and (since the same birthday) are playing the LEGO Star Wars Wii game.
