It is so amazing building these sets and watching the engineering take shape into the gauntlet. Such a fun and easy build. Such a great looking display piece. Posable fingers and separate infinity gems snap into place. Wish they'd light up though. O really cool build and great display piece even for non marvel collectors!!
I bought this one for me as a date night idea with my husband, and it was so much fun. Love the gold legos, and the infinity stones part was okay. We are use Marvel fans and watched infinity war while building our legos, and will be doing it again!
This set is great to display but it is a little repetitive near the end. Honestly i should expect that being there are fingers and little details that have to match. This set was still a decent build but other than display i don't see me revisiting playing with this set too often. I am happy to have it on my shelf as it is a super iconic piece, but other than that id say this build is just not as exciting as i hoped. Still would recommend this set for anyone wanting an awesome display!
It is beautiful, and a friend thought you could wear it, but unfortunately that is not possible.
It was an amazing time building this, I had a good time, took about 3 hours to complete. The only complaint I have if that I was given 2 wrong pieces, but I made them work. The knuckle plate was 2 blocks short, and part of the thumb had a double connect versus a single connect, but it didn’t ruin the fun or build. More OCD people would probably mention something or be bothered by it, or elite hobby bodies. Do recommend for anyone who’s a Marvel fan, or a Lego enthusiast.
falls apart quickly
Very nice, and sturdy. It is easy to assemble, and a lot of fun to do. Highly recommended for Marvel fans.
Nice set that also looks good on the shelf or somewhere else. Also fun to use for pranks!
So there’s a lot of bling to this set. A LOT! Didn’t expect it to be so shiny. A lot of the 1x2 curved tiles came scratched. I might do a replacement on those as it’s really bothering me. Nitpicks aside, I think it’s a good buy if you like the avengers… I managed to snag this on Amazon for $56 back in June before the price hike and it’s been in my closet up till last night when I decided to build it. It’s smaller than I expected. The fingers have fairly nice pose-ability, all things considered. You can pose it as the “snap” however, the angles where that snap looks nice is VERY limited. The plaque is on the back palm side (the shinier side) and the snap doesn’t look good from this angle or it looks like the gauntlet is just pointing. The best angle is a 3/4 angle for both sides of the gauntlet. That said, I think the best way to display is with fingers up; a fist looks a little too small. Also, it’s more a grip rather than a fist… Regardless, for display it’s passable, but if you’re a big fan of the films as well as Lego, I’d say buy it. The infinity stones are represented ok as well, all things considered… I’d personally advise waiting for a sale however. I personally think $80 is too much.
Love this Gauntlet perfect size and pieces that compliment the Gauntlet itself only took about 3 hours to complete if not less
LEGO is fun for both adults and children.
This is fantastic looking set, build was pretty fun, loving the gold pieces. Once assembled its a little more fragile then i was expecting compared to other sets, feel like i knock it funny some part of it will fall off. But as its a display item for the most part, I can forgive that. I think the price is a little high though for this set. Still, its a great display model and a must for fans. I added a sweet looking light kit for it that really makes the model for me. Will keep for many years on display.
Quality piece which now can double as my fantasy football ring holder
The build was fairly easy and it was fun to watch it come together. Went pretty quickly. If I could change anything, I'd add more to the appearance of the bottom of the fingers/palm and spread the fingers out a tiny bit. The fingers look a little goofy in the gauntlet size ratio. Putting this piece on display is only doable from the back of the gauntlet unless you curl all the fingers down to hide the unfinished look. Overall, no regrets with this purchase. Would recommend to Marvel fans. Will display.
The build was quite clever in terms of techniques used, the supply of gold decorative pieces is a great addition to the collection, and it looks straight out of Odin’s trophy room when you put it on display. Not that playable, and quite expensive for the number of parts included (thanks, Marvel branding…) but still a 5-star set on the assumption that you buy this as a display piece and it looks amazing.
As soon as I saw this set online I knew it was a must have. The golden elements make this set striking to view on display and the fully possible fingers help to give this collectors set an added play value for adults (considering this set is designed mainly for display purposes). The build process was incredibly clever and I appreciate all the details the designers put in to this model. including the ability to take out all or some of the stones should you wish to recreate a certain moment from the film. Only thing that would make this set incredible was if you could wear the gauntlet... If you are an adult or buying for an adult that does not have much storage/shelf space but wants to buy a eye catching display model that showcases the best of marvel I would highly recommend picking this iconic set up.
Huge Infinity War fan, first time builder. Took about 3 to 4 hours to build. Instructions were easy to read and follow. Would 100% recommend.
Although this was very nice to build and I love the fact that the fingers move. Lego could have done a better job with the infinity stones. They are pieces instead of one full piece to resemble the rubies/stones in the movie. I was very disappointed in the stones, other than that I like it.
Worth the money for the size of the product. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and the fingers move which means you can choose what you want it to look like!
