Long time LEGO fan, but I'm with the other users here on this one. The plate is bright green rather than classic green we're all familiar with. The label and photo is misleading. Might be better off finding 2nd hand plates. Here is a photo of some, with wrapper, compared to original baseplate from 2000-2010 as well as some smaller plates of the same colors.
The base plate is much thinner than it used to be. This means any regular base plates can't be connected side by side.
The baseplate is much too light in color, and does not match the color shown in the product photo. This will be returned.
Quite a sturdy baseplate, but why is it so much brighter than other grass blocks/parts?
Did lego discontinue the original green baseplate colour? I got this thinking it was gonna be green, but they're bright green, even though the product is named "Green Baseplate" not "Bright Green Baseplate" 🤔
Lego quality which should last years. Always good to provide a base for your little one to build on.
Nice plates where you can build beautiful creations for both young and old, just like LEGO is intended for.
This green building plate is a must-have for any LEGO fan's collection. It's great to build as a green environment together with other sets. But it's also perfectly usable as a standalone building plate. The pieces click together reliably. In short: classic LEGO quality!
It's lighter than my 'Green' plant foliage and actually looks more like Lime. Dark green would have been preferable. Olive would also be nice.
