Teleurgesteld
Qua model een mooie auto. Mooie technieken en bouwt lekker en verslavend. Maar voor Lego een tegenvaller qua constructies. Vind het model erg fragiel. Veel losse of onstabiele onderdelen. Je kan het amper verplaatsen zonder dat er een onderdeel los komt. Je kunt hem bouwen en er daarna alleen naar kijken. Voor deze reeks van Supercars echt veruit de minste. We hebben ze allemaal en voor ons is de Lamborghini Sian de beste en stevigste met de meeste specs. Bouw ervaring en technieken een leuke auto om te bouwen maar erg fragiel dus en constructief valt hij bij ons in het plaatje van de blauwe VW T2 bus. Ook niet te vergelijken met de rode VW T1. Of de Landrover Defender tegen de Landrover Classic. Of de F1 lijn waar de Maclaren het echt niet haalt tegenover de RB, Mercedes of Ferrari. Ook zo'n geval van Lego waar ze de plank echt hebben mis geslagen. Des al niet te min blijf ik Lego fan....

I did enjoy building this, but if you do not like Technic you may want to think twice. Some excellent detail including the brakes and wheel lugs. As others have mentioned, there are issues with the instructions such as telling you to use the wring part.
Verslavend
Eens begonnen wil je niet meer stoppen. Tof hoe het meer en meer op een auto begint te lijken en hoe alles mekaar ondersteund
Verpakking kan beter
Mooie prijs en vlugge levering, doch kwam zonder de lego omdoos en zat bovendien compleet los in een veel te grote en niet zo stevige doos, waardoor er wat schade was aan de lego doos.
Frustrerende instructies
De instructies zijn enorm slecht. Er zijn een groot aantal fouten gemaakt in de papieren handleiding. In de digitale handleiding is dit verbeterd. De handleiding laat onder de moeilijkst zichtbare hoeken zien wat de bedoeling is. Vooral bij de versnellingsbak is dit een groot probleem. Bij stap 47 wordt onder duidelijke hoek getoond in welke positie alles moet staan. In de stap 48 wordt de positie veranderd naar een zeer moeilijk te zien positie. Het bovenaanzicht is erg onduidelijk en via de QR code uitgelegde filmpje ook. Daarnaast is dit filmpje niet op de smartphone schermvullend te krijgen en een grote pauze knop maakt het onmogelijk de video te pauzeren om te kijken hoe alles moet staan. De auteur had beter in stap 48 de hoek van stap 47 kunnen aanhouden.
Op dezelfde manier is het bij stap 59 gekozen voor de meest lastige hoek om te zien wat de juiste posities zijn. Ook het filmpje is wederom onduidelijk, geen full screen mogelijk op de smartphone (of dit werkt niet) en het bovenaanzicht laat niet goed genoeg de juiste posities zien. Hierdoor ben ik pas bij een veel latere stap achter gekomen dat de versnellingsbak volledig fout gebouwd is.
Voor feedback richting lego's instructie boeken auteurs voor technic:
1.) gebruik aub de meest duidelijke hoek en draai niet het model naar de meest moeilijk te volgen hoek
2.) voeg een filmpje toe waarin het mogelijk is pas gebouwde system te testen. Net zoals gedaan wordt bij veel op afstand bestuurbare sets
Ik kan de set niet aanraden
De versnellingsbak speelt een grote rol in deze set. Vanaf stap 253 kan pas echt duidelijk worden dat de versnellingsbak fout gemonteerd is. Als er een duidelijke video was om dit bij stap 59/60 te testen, deze video een werkend fullscreen optie heeft en geen reusachtige pauze afbeelding toont wanneer de video gepauzeerd is, was dit makkelijk te voorkomen. Helaas worden daardoor veel fouten gemaakt. Helaas is de handleiding in het algemeen dusdanig frustrerend en bevat zoveel fouten (papieren handleiding), dat ik de set niet kan aanraden. Hopelijk zal de verwachtte nieuwe 1:8 super wagen van technic een duidelijkere en foutloze papieren handleiding bevatten. De versnellingsbak is niet te complex en brengt veel meerwaarde mee. Alleen de instructies hebben flink veel verbetering nodig

I am in love
I am not really a huge fan of technic, after building each one your thumbs either hurt from pressing those blue and black pieces in. But overall I really enjoyed building this, it honestly looks very neat and slick. It looks almost identical to the real car, while building it I have ran into some problems like missing pieces but they were in the box. Overall amazing build. If your willing to spend around 450-470. I would recommend this.
Missing part
Another great kit in the Technic range, liked the idea of the stickers already printed on the parts. Just follow the instructions carefully and you will have a great looking Ferrari. Only problem I had was there was a couple of parts missing.
SP3 -Rock
It was great fun building this Ferrari. All parts were in there with no issues. Similar to a previous post I also had the same issue with the engine hood staying open while building. This completes my set of high performance cars!
Wish I got something else
Recently built the ucs falcon, Lego apocalypseberg, Dailey Bugel etc and thought I would try this kit as I am into cars. I just couldn’t get into the build found it boring and the instructions confusing. I found myself stopping as I couldn’t be bothered to do the next part till the following day. I have no idea why this was but I just didn’t enjoy this build. . In comparison when I built the 1987 batmobile I couldn’t stop and it was just an excitable build.
Once built the mobile feels flimsy and there at bits where I feel Lego just couldn’t get it right and said that will do. The holes at the top of the doors for example? They look unfinished, I’m actually thinking of adding for black pieces just to make it look alittle more finished.
For me I wouldn’t be buying another one of these kits. This is just my opinion I know people that absolute love these kits and highly recommend them.
Prachtige versie van de Lego Ferrari
Mooie 1:8 versie van de FerrariBij het bouwen heel goed opletten, voordat je het weet zit er iets verkeerd en moet je opnieuw beginnen.Bouwtekeningen zijn heel duidelijk, maar ik was iets te enthousiast (snel)
Over priced
Whilst I love lego, I really do! This was an awesome build and probably the most challenging build I have ever done but.... It seemed without little reward. The set looks great and is a good representation of the real thing, it was a must have for a lego building ferrari fan!
My main upset with the build is the 'flimsy detail of the animate parts of the build. The boot does not stay up and the joints seem' weak' the bonnet and stay work well but it catches the rails representing the window moulding - design oversight? The doors are the biggest let down, again they look great on first inspection but they also seem super flimsy and not well designed, one side of the car closes nicely but the other doesn't, so much so I've added an extra stud just to hold them in place and keep the model 'stable'. All this said the overall aesthetic is amazing and it is a great display piece, but pound for pound it's overpriced, it'll make me think twice about spending this sort of money on a single set.
Geweldig
De eerste keer ‘voorzichtig’ de Lamborghini gekocht, want toch veel geld voor ‘speelgoed’. Maar mezelf kostelijk vermaakt tijdens het bouwen. Toen vol vertrouwen de Bugatti gekocht. Zelfde verhaal. Toen keek ik naar mijn vitrinekast waar de auto’s in staan en dacht ik, er mist iets. Zodoende kwam ik bij de Ferrari Daytona SP3 uit. En zelfde als voorgaande auto’s was het een genot om in elkaar te zetten. Soms denk je wat ben ik toch in elkaar aan het klikken en dan ineens zie je het gewoon vorm krijgen. Deze auto’s zijn zo slim in elkaar gezet door de engineers en designers van Lego. Denk aan de lijnen van de auto, de werkende cilinders in de motor, de versnellingsbak etc etc. Gewoonweg geweldig!Wel een klein minpuntje, Bijrijders deur sluit niet zo lekker als de bestuurders deur. Ook niet na 3x opnieuw in elkaar zetten. Dit heb ik ook bij een aantal andere mensen gezien. Erg jammer voor zoveel geld.
Amazin ferrari Daytona SP3
I must admit that at first sight this product looks stunning. Red box looks beautiful and premium. This model is a well done reproduction of one of the best Ferrari out there. Elements are well packed. The model is a 1:1 replica and has a huge number of features: steering, 8-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifter and a V12 engine with moving pistons. This collectible Ferrari model features opening butterfly doors which is absolutely brilliant.
I really enjoyed building it and it took me 2 days with full focus to finish it. Amazingly relaxing and satisfying experience, I really recommend this product for every passionate collector in this space.
Mooie Lego set, aanrader
Super mooie set. Kwalitatief goed, ze hebben geleerd van de vorige supercars. De dempers zijn strak, de deuren stevig en geen stickers.
Price Increased since May 2022
Purchased this set early June for 499.99 Cad at the time. Upon time of this review, the set is now 559.99 (same price as Sian). The build itself was phenomenal to build. It was very enjoyable. I did have to use the updated instructions PDF as the printed manual had some errors that were later rectified in the digital instructions. Definitely a great display and collector set, steering and engine works great, they have taken technic and have made it a nice theme for Adults and advanced builders. I wish they will release more exclusive cars and collaborate with more manufacturers. Their F1 car is a start!
Topper!
Wat was de ontvanger verrast en blij! Topper om zijn collectie mee uit te breiden. Nu nog even wachten tot het wat minder weer gaat worden en dan gaat hij er heerlijk wat avondjes zoet mee zijn.
Great set, Fun build!
This is the first Lego Technic set I've purchased and built since 1994 which was the Super Car 8880 set. I had a fun experience learning how to build with the new stud-less design that Lego has moved to. I enjoyed the build which I took my time and completed over a months time. I enjoy the technical aspects of these sets and have owned and built all the early Technic sets from the 80's. I really enjoy transportation models, cars, planes, helicopters, construction equipment. I made a few mistakes but I went back and found the issues. Went online and watched the reviews that pointed out mistakes in the build. Building Lego is a very Zen thing, you can forget about your troubles and get lost in the fun of building! It sure beats a jigsaw puzzle! I would like to see more cars come out in the 1/8 scale, Corvette, Mustang, etc along with more Airplanes and Helicopters! Keep up the good work!
Absolutely stunning!
This set is simply amazing! It looks so much better in person than I expected it to when I decided to pick it up, it just demands your attention when you walk past. I love that this set comes with absolutely no stickers and I hope very much that will carry over to some other lego themes because I can't stand them. Especially in sets made to be displayed. My one complaint about the set is there are a few errors in the printed manual. Fortunately these can be fixed pretty easily once you know where they are, and I even think they've made some fixes in the .pdf instructions. 9.5/10 and I think this is a must own for Lego Ferrari fans.
