OMG. A CHILDHOOD DREAM COME TRUE!!! Definitely recommend for anyone at any age! I had soo much fun building it. so fun and educational! it even has sound that says which house you are!

Most frustrating set

Attempting to build this set was honestly the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with a Lego set. Pieces kept falling off while trying to put others together, parts don’t align at times or you have to maneuver them to fit properly. At this point I don’t even want to finish this piece, I just want my money back. Usually it’s a fun and relaxing experience for me, but this time it was far from that. What really sucks is it is truly a cool set and makes my nerd heart happy, but I just about lost my mind at attempting to build it. Good luck to you if you attempt.

Damaged pieces

My Lego sorting hat came with damaged pieces piece number 6337391 which are massive pieces integral to the build literally the start of the base and one of the first steps to do. I started my set and it was just as quickly over extremely disappointing and extremely poor.

A beautiful set for the beginner builder.

Nowadays, there's Siri or Hey Google, but what people are missing is a talking hat. What a great LEGO set. Plenty of building fun guaranteed. Our son was working on it for about 2 hours and has a good understanding of technology. A must-have for the real Harry Potter fan with a unique minifigure.

A must-have for Harry Potter fans

It's really great that LEGO has released this talking sorting hat from Harry Potter. As a fan of LEGO and the Harry Potter films, I couldn't resist buying it. I also think it's a great gift for all ages. It's beautifully detailed, looks good and recognizable, and it even talks! It says 31 different phrases with the voice from the films. I also like that the 4 Hogwarts departments can be seen. The LEGO instruction booklet is clear, and the building went very smoothly. With 561 pieces, you can have a really fun afternoon. It's great that the batteries are already included, so you can start enjoying it right away. I'm already looking forward to watching the films again.

Very nice LEGO set

Together with my children (6 and 9), we built this Harry Potter LEGO set, and it's fantastic! We know the movies, and this is definitely an iconic character. It's very nice that they have made a LEGO set of it. The children were able to easily follow the instructions and finished it within a day. Another great addition is that it talks, which is super fun. I highly recommend it!

You need to have this.

Great set with sound that closely resembles the sounds from the Harry Potter series. Various sound recordings are available. I am retired and a big fan of LEGO, but this is also fun for the grandchildren. This Sorting Hat also doesn't take up much space. And that is convenient because where do you put all your building sets? If they could also make a Polar Express set, and then also with a sound module with the sounds that belong to a steam locomotive, I would be very satisfied.

It's Magic!

Got to try Harry Potter ,The sorting hat Lego through a VoxBox . My daughter is a big Harry Potter fan,so this was top noch! First of all,this is not for small children. On the box it says 18+ . And now we know why . 561 pieces and many hours later we had a talking Sorting hat .It's made to be perched atop of your head and thanks to a sound brick,will it deem what house you're fated to. It has 31 seperate sounds,so it's worth passing around to friends, family members to find out what house they will deem to.

Great set, missing pieces

This set is so cool! Sadly, I only got to the second bag when I was stopped by 4 missing pieces. Thankfully my son and I had some extra pieces so I could continue building. I got all the way to the very end and I ran into two more missing pieces. Needless to say, quality control is lacking. However, the set as a whole was pretty fun.

not worth the price

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so I had to have this. It is a very nice addition to my collection BUT I would say it is not really worth the price. I think it should’ve been in the $80 range and not the $100 range considering it only has around 500 pieces. It was fun to put together though.

Sort of easy

The sorting hat. Looked much larger than what it was. Not a complicated build and love the interaction feature. A must have for HP fans.

Bad

Not happy with this set had to rebuild it many times due to it constantly falling apart sound and Movement are great but it just doesn’t stay together probably the worst set I have built yet
