Our 7-year-old daughter recently had her first swimming lesson, about two weeks ago. A great achievement, so we thought it would be a nice gift. When I saw the LEGO Friends set, I knew it would be a wonderful gift for our little horse girl. She was indeed very happy with her first LEGO Friends set, so it was a hit. The parts are divided into different bags. The building instructions are clear, with clear instructions on what steps to take on each page. For our daughter, it was easy to put together: she is a girl who is meticulous and takes her time with things. She also found it easy to assemble the smaller parts and stick the stickers on the different pieces. If your child is impatient or if sticking the stickers is too fiddly, it is best to help them. This set is very good: she has been playing with it every day so far and comes up with her own stories. Sometimes she plays with our son, and they combine it with his LEGO. The toy itself is what you would expect from LEGO: very high quality, sturdy, colorful, and with beautiful details. What I noticed was that the horses' heads can move and the choice of LEGO to add a blind doll: this is a plus for me, with regard to inclusivity. In short: I recommend this set.
