Model vs play

I really like the intricate details of this set for the price. However it is more of a model build than a playable build as it doesn't fit a minifigure. I understand that may not be the goal of this set but it would have been nice. I would like it if there was a bigger build that could fit one for 5 or 10 dollars more. Overall it is a great simple set that I don't regret buying. I would buy again.

Adding to other sets

I bought this taxi because I own the Friends Central Perk Set set and I thought it needed Phoebe's yellow taxi. It scales beautifully and I am very pleased!

As overpriced as a real taxi ride

I bought this thinking $30 was the normal price and it arrived just fine. The box didn't have a piece count or set name, but that's okay. I built it just fine, and it wasn't until that night that I was looking at it on the LEGO website to see that it's usually $10, and shipping plus tax would definitely not add $20.

A Classic

This is a nice build. I like its style—using classic brick types rather than specialty pieces. And it looks retro in vehicle design. Good value for the price. The taxi is medium size (scale-wise) and easy to hold for play. Mini figures cannot go inside. I recommend it.

Bricks get broken

Got this on 25th of September, built it the same day with my kid: It was an amazing experience however, I can see that pieces of this taxi starting to break. I wouldn't recommend buying this.
