Cute but Missing

Cute but mine was missing the long black rod so I’m not able to complete it. I was hoping to decorate my house with it to go with my other Christmas sets. Waiting two weeks for a part is disappointing but I probably have one somewhere I’ll just have to go sort though 1,000 of parts in boxes that are stored away. It definitely put a damper on my Lego building evening. Also, since I had to open every bag due to them being unnumbered, and unsorted within the bags, I now have a bigger mess to try and store away.

Pass on the tree

I have to say this is my least favorite build and for several reasons. 1. First of all, it’s been not nice to build layers of the tree. 2. Trying to align the layers once they’re built was frustrating. 3. I have never had as many pieces left over from a build as I had from Christmas tree. 4. The candles that you can construct are not well thought out because they pop off constantly. 5. The fact that you had to open every single bag to begin, the construction was not fun, considering 90% of the tree is green. 6. And the fact that you cannot get any insider points for this, it’s kind of ridiculous..

Christmas tree

Nice Christmas tree. Took it to the beach so we could still create some atmosphere. I should have also added some lights, as well as the Santa Claus with his sleigh.

Fun Christmas activity!

Love this Lego set I got free from Influenster to try and review. Such a fun activity to do during the holidays and then display. Another cool thing is you can make one big tree or two smaller trees -so we can mix it up from year to year. My son loves Legos and I love the quality which is way better than the no name brick Lego rip offs. Definitely recommend!

Excellent

Great addition to Xmas decorations, ideal for small households & looks nice when built. Looks a touch better when lights are added, could do with a light brick for the star tho not much to ask for (how about it Lego??).

Nice design

The tree is fun to build, beautiful and sturdy, just as we expect from LEGO. I built the large one, and it is a bit repetitive. It looks nice among the rest of the Christmas decorations.

Chistmas window time again

I have just got all my Lego Christmas models in my front window again. It always makes a nice display. The tree and snow topped houses, with Santas sleigh all in Lego does the trick.

Just what I needed

This tree is a lovely build and looks great as it is but I have been looking for a while for a way to display my Christmas Star Wars advent calendar figure collection and this worked out great

Lego Christmas

This was an additional purchase to enhance our other Christmas sets (see photo) and it has not disappointed! Enjoyed the build but with Lego’s detailed instructions there were no issues. A great festive addition to any Lego collection!

Very Tall and Festive Christmas Tree

This Christmas tree set is excellent, and quite tall! While construction is similar to the previous gift with purchase Christmas Tree, it is even better since it is taller, and comes with a variety of colorful ornaments. I built the main design, wanting the taller tree. However, I modified it with the included extra parts to make my tree less formal, swapping some of the red and gold decorations for the more colorful ornaments from the alternative build, making it the perfect customizaable Christmas tree! With all the green parts, I did make a few mistakes that I corrected, and the build is necessarily a bit repetitive. The end product is wonderful! I build on Christmas Day to cap off the experience!

Wonderful set but wish it had one addition

This set is wonderful. A relatively quick build that looks very beautiful when complete. As I was finishing the build I was wishing it had one addition: a train going around the bottom of the tree on the tree skirt. And imagine how awesome it would be if the train was on tracks and motorized!! This was a common way when I was growing up for people to decorate their Christmas trees. It was so much fun and both kids and adults loved it so much. If Lego could do this the play experience of a build like this would soar!! Please consider this as a future build, Lego. Maybe as an Expert build. Maybe an even larger tree. Maybe the star on top could light up along with lights on the tree? I’ll be first in line to get one!!

Christmas tree

The best thing I think about it is that it’s a 2 for 1 kit . This year I have built the main tree and next year I will build the two smaller trees and keep doing that for years to come . So value for money it’s amazing . It makes you look forward to the build for next Christmas . My friend loves Lego so at the same time I bought him one that then gave me a free gift and free p&p so even better lego value .

Disappointing

I was looking forward to having a large tree as a centre piece to my Winter Village, but this is disappointing. There are a lot of left over pieces especially with the large tree. I don't see the point to the spinning tree top, and it's not spun using any mechanism. It would have been nice to have a mini train set at the bottom which spun round the tree instead. There are no presents under the tree.

Beautiful little tree

Very pleasant build. I built the large tree and used all extra ornaments on it. I added a string of mini lights and it looks really pretty. I am thinking of buying an extra set so I can have all three trees at the same time together.
