All about this set

Toddlers aged 2 plus explore their emotions with the LEGO® DUPLO® Town First Time: Visit to the Doctor (10449) playset. This building toy for kids helps toddlers practice fine motor skills, role-play stories and feel empathy for others as they pretend-play being the young patient going for a health check. This 2-story hospital playset comes with 4 figures: an adult, child and doctor figure, as well as a cute teddy bear figure. There are also lots of fun doctor’s props, such as a height measure, weight scale, syringe, X-ray and a wheelchair toy. This is a great gift for toddlers who like to play with imaginative toys about emotions, and the included play wheel lets parents and preschoolers explore the boy figure’s different emotions to encourage kids to express their feelings about going to see the doctor. LEGO DUPLO social-emotional learning toys are packed with engaging narratives, everyday heroes and diverse characters to help toddlers understand the world around them.

This set was fun to build with my toddler and extra fun to play with once set up. He is at the age of curiosity, so it was a great learning experience talking about the xray block, eye chart, and the various diverse characters. The emotion wheel is another great conversation piece and something we reference throughout our day when he is having an emotional moment to help him communicate what he’s feeling. The only downside is one piece was cracked and another slightly deformed, but both still useable.
