LEGO is always the best.

Good back to the past

Very good set! Full of sentiments, of course, but this is a good way for Lego. I'm a young Lego fan, but I love old castle sets, so I like this one very much! Building is a pleasure and it looks good on shelf.

A wonderful callback to sets of the past

I have been a longtime LEGO fan since I was a young child in the early 90s. My favorite themes growing up were the Pirate and Castle themes. This set brings me right back to the days I would spend on the living room carpet spreading out my minifigures and creating battle scenes. The design is both nostalgic and practical with a few modern techniques. The number of bricks to the size of the finished build is excellent. This is an exceptional play set, and also a beautiful display piece. I love that LEGO has brought back some of the classic themes in big commemorative sets, but THIS style set is what I want to see more of. More $20-$70 sets that are great for play and combining together to create fun scenes. I am glad I was able to get this set.

The Classics Are Back!

I wasn't around in the 80s when this set was originally produced, but I have to say, I'm a big fan of vintage LEGO. I am an avid Vintage technology collector and I also collect Legos and I love vintage things! I picked up a couple mid-1970s Lego sets for pretty cheap at a flea market over my time of collecting Lego and I love the artwork on the boxes - so retro. I love how Lego is bringing back the old look of the boxes, and remakes of classic sets because people who weren't around in the 1980s can now experience what Lego was like back then. I also pre-ordered the Galaxy Explorer and I can't wait for that to come! Vintage Legos always fascinated me, and most original Space/Castle sets are pretty expensive nowadays so getting remakes of them for cheaper are really helpful. Thank you Lego, for bringing back the Classics!

Bring back the Classics

So happy to see these forest men again I haven’t seen them sense I was a kid I really hope to see more classic Legos their are enough HP and SW Legos we don’t need characters we saw on tv and it’s great to see lego going back to basics
