A sweet idea for Easter. I purchased it at a reduced price, the price of under 15 euros is appropriate for the number of bricks and size.
A nice build for the upcoming season and it is great that you can customize the exterior of the egg to fit your liking. It has a good variety of colours and different shapes bricks for this, bumping that brick count high for its price. The egg itself is plain at first but of a decent size that can decorate a small space. High quality parts as usual and nothing was missing from my unit
I read someone described this as an "easy build" but I don't think that's 100% true. It's easy for an adult, but may be confusing for a child. My 6 year old son and I put this together, we're big into lego. I helped with main part of the egg, and my son decorated the sides with his own designs. He ended up adding robot legs to it and created an "egg mech" so definitely fun and let's them be creative!
This Lego set arrives just in time for Easter, as it allows you to create an decorated Easter egg according to the tradition associated with this holiday. It's a very fun and engaging build to do as a family. 😊 I like: - The egg-building technique is interesting - It contains 386 pieces, which gives a good price/piece ratio compared to the usual average. In addition, it offers many interesting, multicolored decorative pieces. - In addition to the basic egg construction, it contains a good number of extra pieces that allow you to let your imagination run wild by varying the egg's decoration according to your wishes. The construction is therefore not fixed. - The egg opens and allows you to store the extra pieces, just like eggs containing small candies or chocolates, a fun detail. 😐 I don't like: - No complaints about this fun and surprising set
I really liked it as an alternative to the classic chocolate Easter egg, which is getting a bit stale year after year. This LEGO set is a different way to celebrate the season, and it also serves as a permanent decorative object, rather than something you eat in two days and then discard. The assembly is very relaxing; I spent an afternoon with my nephew and we did it together in about an hour, he is 10 years old and has experience with LEGO, so it went smoothly. The instructions are very clear, with large and well-detailed illustrations, so you can't get lost. It comes with plenty of pieces to decorate the exterior of the egg, including flowers in several colors, a large golden heart that looks great in the center, a shiny gem-like piece, and other small decorative elements that can be placed wherever you like. The interesting thing is that you can change the decoration whenever you get bored with the initial design. There are plenty of pieces to create different combinations. The egg opens in half, and inside there is a space where you can put the extra pieces or you can put a small surprise inside, like chocolate coins. Once finished, it looks very spring-like and festive, perfect for placing on a shelf or on the living room table during Easter. It's not a set for playing with action figures or building, it's purely decorative, but it's very well done for that purpose. If you're looking for an original Easter gift that isn't food and that the person can enjoy building, this LEGO egg is a good idea. It works for both children from 9 years old and adults who collect this type of themed sets.
The Easter egg is a well-executed set, which confirms the typical quality of construction of the LEGO brand, iconic as few in the world of games (not just for children). The set consists of 386 pieces and is recommended for ages 9 and up, a suitable age range for both boys and those looking for a relaxing and orderly construction. Once assembled, the model measures approximately 10 cm in height, 7 cm in width and 7 cm in depth. The dimensions are balanced: compact enough not to be cumbersome, but large enough to be used as a decorative element on a shelf or furniture, perhaps during Easter. The flat base makes it stable, while the removable top allows you to use the interior space for small objects or bricks. A nice idea is to insert a surprise, so you can use it as a gift. The instructions are clear, well-illustrated and easy to follow, in the typical LEGO style; the connections are precise and solid, as expected. Assembly takes about an hour or so, calmly, and is also enjoyable for those who are not looking for a particularly complex but well-finished set. The possibility of customizing the decorative details adds a minimum of variety to the final result. It is a set that is very well suited as a Easter gift, either as an alternative or in addition to the classic chocolate egg: it is durable, lasts over time and combines the experience of building with an object to display. It is particularly suitable for those who are starting to appreciate LEGO not just as a game, but also as decorative objects. It should be noted that, once completed, the playability is limited, as it is mainly an exhibition model; those looking for action, minifigures or interactive functions may prefer other sets. However, as a seasonal, buildable decoration, it performs very well. Overall, a 5-star product for material quality, clarity of instructions and final result: a small LEGO set designed with care, ideal for those looking for a different gift or a Easter object built with satisfaction.
My granddaugters had fun building these to give their parents for Easter instead of chocolate. They also changed them slightly to be more personal.
This is an easy build looks good you can use your imagination with one
This took about 30-45 minutes. I have an awesome Easter egg to display. Michelle, of the 2 star review, look at your pic vs the instructions. The beige blocks go in the middle of each half. Snaps together beautifully.
I love Lego, but I am not loving this build. At step 33 every time I try to put the sides of the egg on the whole thing falls apart even though I have the studs lined up. I’ve tried about five times without success. Very disappointing. I’m about to give up
