LEGO The Capture of Sophie Jones 41182

This fairly small set is one of my favorite LEGO Elves sets. We love the attractive range of pink and lavender LEGO Elves sets and have many of them, especially our lucky daughter. The tiny house included in this set, however, is a little less pink but has a welcome blue roof instead, which looks great in our Elves village. The fact that this tiny shop is staffed by a squirrel (called Mr. Spry!!!?) makes it irresistible. And I love the little side porch. Mr. Spry even has a little bed and candle. Even with this small Elves set, there is a lot of detail and colorful decoration. There are little coins, pots, and a bag. While the house is decorated with only a single branch of a purple tree. The set furthermore includes an obvious Sophie Jones figure, of which we have already gotten a few, and a magical portal and Barblin the Goblin with his terrifying Elf-capture-mobile. The construction and assembly of this 228 piece set was not too demanding for our 8-year-old daughter, who required little assistance on the project. As always, the instructions are very clear. After construction, the children put the set to perfect use in their growing Elves village and many adventures. So, to conclude; this is another great Elves set, a unique house in terms of size and color. All in the expected great LEGO quality. It's a shame that the Elves line seems to be discontinued, for now, and that sets are becoming scarce through regular channels. With a little imagination, the line could have been taken much further.
