For some kids, it can be a bit difficult to assemble, but it's not that bad. Technic toys offer more play/difficulty than regular LEGO sets with less complex pieces. Of the Technic LEGO sets of this type, which you push backward to accelerate, this one is the most robust. When it collides with anything, the impact is always absorbed by the wheels and not the studs. What I don't like is that it comes with a lot of stickers, and it takes more time to apply them properly than to assemble the studs.
