What a fun and beautiful model! It was straightforward to build and it feels sturdy. I like that you can add (and keep them there) or remove the various tools and sensors. It would be cool if they could be tucked away internally like with the pricier model, but at this price point the play model is honestly spot on! Like I found with Chopper, both of these paired with BD-1 on a shelf make for a great decoration, but the size difference between R2/Chopper and BD-1 is noticeable enough. Still, bar the ratio gap, this build is very engaging and is among my favourites so far. What a fun and beautiful model! It was straightforward to build and it feels sturdy. I like that you can add (and keep them there) or remove the various tools and sensors. It would be cool if they could be tucked away internally like with the pricier model, but at this price point the play model is honestly spot on!...
