When I bought this, I didn’t expect too much, mostly buying it for the Shadow minifigure, but this is actually an incredible set. Below I’ll break down the details more… The Minifigures- This set has one minifigure, Shadow the Hedgehog, who is very well designed, has the perfect amount of detail, and all in all is a great minifigure who matches the source material. It also includes a small bird for Shadow to rescue. (Who after taking the photos for the review I noticed I accidentally swapped with another bird) The Build- The set is composed of three different parts, the first being a robot rhinoceros to capture the bird. It’s a pretty simple build, but it gets the point across. The second component is a motorbike for Shadow. It’s extremely well designed and isn’t too big, but still has a good amount of detail. Lastly is a section of a laboratory with a capsule to contain Shadow. There’s also a barrier connected to the side of the lab. On the top is a little Robotnik head, which is cute. Play Value- There are two main play features in this set, if you press down on the left of the lab the capsule ‘explodes’ and Shadow can escape, and also the barrier can fall down. Along with those, the motorcycle itself is pretty playable, so I think in all a child would enjoy and get a lot of use out of this set. Value- The set costs $20, which I think is pretty reasonable. There are around 200 pieces, and there aren’t any stickers. Conclusion- This is an amazing small set. It has one well made minifigure, it has some good builds, a child could play with it for a while, and it’s pretty well priced. Any fan of Sonic the Hedgehog would like this. 10/10, I would recommend this set.
