Great set of Legos
I ordered this set knowing I was overpaying but that was on me. But when I got it it was in pristine condition and ready to be put together. It was something I had wanted to go along with my other buildings. It was not easy to assemble since it was expert but it was fun to assemble. So I would say this is an adult piece not for the younger crowd, that is what i mean by not easy.I love it and can't wait to start putting it together, so I can not account for it having all its pieces but I am assuming it does. Lego's rocks. But I did not get this from the lego company, I got it from an online seller who was swift in shipping, had a great product, although a steep price. :) But those willing to pay , well its on us, right.

Almost excellent
This is an excellent modular: there is very little repetition during the build and a lot of the techniques used are fascinating. And the finished buildings look stunning. The only caveat is that the build is divided into 6 steps only, making each step quite lengthy with a few too many pieces to sort at the start. Other than that Assembly Square is an excellent modular. No wonder it's remained in production for 6 years.

Assembly square
The assembly square is an amazing set. I love the details of this set. It is just amazing. When you look at it you are just in aww with it. My favorite part is the cookie oven. I love the push thing on it. I enjoy watching the cookies fly out of the oven. The build was a pretty big build it took between 2-3 hours a day for a week. It was took at least 14 hours total. The build was very intense. The instructions had put a lot of pieces per step in it , often taking a while before l could flip the page. This would be an amazing build to do with a whole family with older children because each person would have plenty of pieces to put on.

Loved it, it was a super fun build, and I can't wait to purchase another 4000+ piece set in the near future. Definitely recommend for any avid LEGO builders, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic LEGO product
This is by far one of the best LEGO sets. The modular buildings have always been excellent, but this one is the biggest and a great mix of the best elements. Certainly not a quick build, but a fun build, and very satisfying once done.

The best massive set there is.
When I first began looking at Lego last year, this one seemed like Moby Dick to me, my white whale. Something I'd always want but would never get. At least, I thought it would be like that, but no, I ended up being able to order it as a late birthday present and it came months early from out of a backorder, so that was a wonderful surprise. Every bit of this build is wonderful and different, never repetitious and always fun. The details on the outside are my favorite from the modular buildings, how couldn't that be the case? This set is packed to the brim with details. The interiors are wonderful, too. I can't even pick out a favorite part about this. It's all just excellent. It made a great spot for the big Lego Christmas tree, as you can see. I couldn't imagine having something like this when I was a kid, if only I could send this set back in time to myself and be like, "SEE! IT HAPPENS!" Anyhow. What a magnificent set. Part of me wants to take it apart and build something from my own imagination with the huge abundance of bricks but it just looks too good. My second favorite modular building and definitely in my top five of all. I hope 2022's set is a big'un like this 'un!

Fantastic LEGO set
A must-have for any true LEGO fan. Beautiful new building techniques with plenty of variety. It's also nice that detailed furniture is included. The minifigures are also great! The seller, Brickwish, is also very reliable!

Good but expensive
It's a really fun LEGO set! With a beautiful design and interior with lots of detail, which makes it very enjoyable. It's a shame that it's so expensive on bol.com. I was able to get it much cheaper (and new!) on another reliable website.

Excellent set
This set is amazing. It has so much detail. It has loads of different things like a cafe, florist, dentist, music shop, flat, photography studio and a restaurant . The price per part is excellent and is the best value for a modular building. It is sort of playable and you can create loads of scenes with mini Figueres. You can also remove each floor to have a look inside of each room. They use very special elements all throughout the building. You will enjoy building this and its a great way to pass time as it is quite a challenging set to build. But also you will learn some building techniques for when you make your own things. This is great if you want best for value and you may want to consider buying it before it retires.
Attached are some pictures of the exterior and interior and these pictures will give you an idea of the amount of detail.

Fun build
Overall, this is a fun build with good minifigures and an interesting building experience. Pros: 1. Large and deep build with lots of pieces. 2. Good minifigures (with classic standard grin heads). 3. Lots of details for various rooms, especially the room with LEGO micro builds. 4. No stickers, all printed bricks (modular rocks). 5. Good display & play set Minor cons: 1. The top floor kitchen area of the middle building is not covered; it would be nice if that area was covered. 2. More expensive than other modular buildings (but bigger). 3. One missing piece, but easily obtainable from LEGO.com.

Destination Shopping
It took me 3 days to build this over 2 weeks because real life and having to work kept getting in the way. Even when only part way through it looked great on the shelf and I made the decision that my in progress shelf was going to become a display shelf as I had to have this in my living room where I can gloat over it and I am still enjoying it.
Lots of fun build techniques here, especially for the ground floor shop signage. One downside is the use of garage doors for the patisserie shop windows, those things took me far longer to fit than they should have done and they aren't even fitted properly, just sort of propped in place and held in place by hope. On the up side NO STICKERS, any detailing is done by preprinted bricks.
The roof creation is awesome and the detailing looks incredible when finished, although why there is a chicken statue on the patisserie building roof I have no clue. One of my favourite bits of any modular build is the tiling on the base to create the external street and this is incredible on Assembly square. It does mean that you cannot really separate the buildings for individual placement though.
There are so many businesses tucked away in this build that I can't actually remember them all. My favourites are the ballet studio and the dentist's office
Just looking at it side on now and I realised the top level of my patisserie store isn't sitting right - might have something to do with a piece being missing from the kit but I cobbled something together. Think that is going to have to come off the shelf now so I can try and fix it.

The address was auto-corrected, so I received the present after Christmas, which is not ideal!
It was present, I liked it.

No regrets - satisfaction guaranteed
I used to own many lego sets back when I was a kid, but as time goes you lose interest in toys or become infatuated with other things.
That changed on a certain day during last year Christmas week when I curiously entered a lego store. I saw the diner (which I also bought) and this grand set. I never owned such a set before. My inner child called out to me once more.
I recently finished it and it is worth the price especially if you're a working adult. It might seem expensive at first, but you get more from the enjoyment of building, nostalgia, and self satisfaction after completion.

A Beautiful Detailed Modular Set
I wasn't going to buy another Lego Creative Expert Set for awhile, but after seeing how detailed this set was -- I couldn't resist. What really made me pull the trigger was seeing the dentist office and apartment that had a bathroom. Even though I don't like going to the dentist the details that Lego put into that dentist office was amazing and the rest of the rooms are just as good when it comes to details. The Photography Studio is a little small, but I love the old fashion camera. The Dance Studio with the mirror and the very detailed piano is just beautiful. The only room that I have a small gripe with is the outdoor grill, it's bland compared to the other rooms. I think I might add an umbrella to that room, so if it rains the minifigures won't get wet.
This is only my third creative expert modular build, so I really can't comment on the easter eggs that Lego has put into this set from previous modular sets. However, one won't be disappointed if one is new to the modular scene. This set is a little more expensive that most modular sets that Lego has done, but it's worth it if one is a lego fan which I definitely am. I know there are cheaper solutions, but being a graphics designer I know that buying true Lego is the proper thing to do. The designers and everyone involved in the manufacturing process at Lego deserved to make the money of the product.
The only thing I get disappointed in is when I finish building a Lego set and building the Assembly Square was fun, but the build went too fast. It was also challenging at times, but not to bad. I have found out that separating the parts before starting to build helps out a lot.
I think the playability on this set would be extremely good, for I even find myself posing the minifigures when going to take pictures. Pushing a button so the pastries come out of the oven in the bakery is just cute. I'm 53 years old and find building Legos to be fun, for it's like building a jigsaw puzzle that when all the pieces are together it forms something that can displayed for a long time.

Huge it was to build this amazingly marvelous set!
Building this set, given by my beloved boyfriend, was the most amazing experience I've ever had among all other Lego sets, this is one of the most beautiful and fully detailed set.
The first floor, where the coffee shop and bakery are located, have nice deserts like pies and lovely cakes, there is also a lovely perfect wedding cake.
The corner is one of the most extravagant pieces I've ever built: a round corner built by small pieces which gets rounded, and it comes all over to the third floor.
The flower shop is nature come true, it has an extraordinary bouquet with colorful pieces and a transparent vase with a green steam which is perfect.
The central fountain and the floor below is just a piece of art, it gives the impression that you are part of this city.
Assembly Square has lots of references to previous sets; discovering those details gives an extra touch to this set that makes you feel like you must have all of them!
