Fulfilling Build
This was a very fulfilling build. This is my first Lego icon series purchase and just love it. The parts are sturdy, the end product looks great. I will be trying out the alternative builds made by some designers from rebrickable .com from this set’s parts soon. There are so many different alternative builds possible from this and that’s what pushed to buy this in the first place.

Copied my 1985 Carrera Targa with Wide Body M491
My Friend with a '88 SlantNose 930 Turbo Cab gave this to me as a Christmas Gift, I vowed to complete it on New Years Day 2024. Mission Accomplished, well sort of. Due to some missing pieces, It is not completely finished but refusing to stop, I worked around it and requested "Missing Bricks Department" to send the missing pieces. Still 99.4 % complete. Not only that, I made it to match my Targa Wide Body Look. I think It turned out pretty good.

Challenging, and yet relaxing build
Challenging, and yet relaxing build. I found building the Porsche 911 to be the nicest of all of the Lego large cars. The instructions were flawless, making the fit of the pieces absolutely perfect and easy to work with.
Although I’m not personally a fan of the overall look of a Porsche, and never have been, I find myself growing very attached to the overall Porsche dimensions and looks by building this model. The clean lines a timeless shape of the Porsche whether it’s a love it or leave it a fair for you building this car will definitely be something you’ll never regret. Of all of the Lego cars that I have built, it seems to have the best fit as far as strength and durability, and does not ask you to get into a lot of contortion to fit pieces in late in the game.
I highly recommend this model build. as you can see in my photos, I also have the James Bond Aston Martin DB five, 1969 Camaro, and the 1968 mustang. I also have built the back to the future car, which actually is my least favorite due to the fit and instructions.
Once again, Lego and especially the designer, Mike Psaiki have a struck gold. well Done.
I chose the Targa version, which, yes, does include a snap on roof that stores under the hood.
Scaling to other LEGO large cars, based on wheel base, it appears that Camaro and Mustang models are scaled a little longer, yet narrow er than the Porsche model, and the James Bond DB5 has the smallest scale of all four. (Not taken precise).

Porsche 911 turbo / Targa
This has been one of the most entertaining Lego sets I’ve build. I was really impressed with the detail of the interior and as built it it made me feel as if I was actually in the Porsche. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoy cars and collects car models it’s an enjoy car to look at. My favorite part about this Lego set is the iconic head lights and the creativity of the engine design. Overall I will definitely be looking for other set similar to this one. I cannot wait for my next build!!

Love this car! Looks awesome in my office :)
Bought it for myself for birthday! Well it was my wife who bought it but I asked for it. The building experience was awesome. It took about three nights of work after the kids have gone to sleep. I have now placed it in my office and I am waiting for some of my patients to ask to see this amazing Lego production!
The only downside is it doesn’t have any of the technical things. On the flip side, it has way more details than Technic. Overall, it is a great addition to your office space! Cannot believe I am getting addicted to Lego at the age of 33!

A Classic
I'd been putting off purchasing this set for a while, but finally decided to click the button as a New Years treat to myself. It was an absolute pleasure to build. The attention to detail was incredible, and the design of the set continuously left me amazed - the skill of the designers is next level in getting just the right angles on the various body lines. A stonewall classic.

A Great Start to my Creator Expert Collection!!
I don't know what it is about 70s and early 80s Porsche 911s, but I think they are just so cool. So When this set came out, I knew I had to have it. The engineering and design put into this set is really incredible. This set was fairly easy to build, and it took me about 5 hours to build which when I first started, I thought it would be at least a 10 hour build. It is easier to build this car than it may seem, so don't worry about it being too hard even though its 18+. Once I was done building, I made a little mod to the car. First, I took the brake disks off of the Porsche, then I borrowed the wheels off of my Technic Dodge Charger, and put them on the Porsche, and it looks great, even though it doesn't roll with these wheels cuz they are big for the Porsche. If you don't have the Dodge Charger, its ok. You can take the wheels that come with the set, and put them in backwards. It also looks good this way. But anyway, if you like Porsches, this would be a great set for you.

Converted to right-hand drive
This is the first LEGO set I have bought since I was a child (LEGO Technic Forklift Truck Set 850) and became aware of the Porsche 911 Set 10950 after an article in a car magazine – I am now in my 50s and purchased this as a COVID19 Lock Down activity (and I own a 1996 Porsche 911).
I live in the UK so wanted to make this model a right-hand drive car (easily done with a bit of trial and error). There is a Japanese rear number plate provided (Japan cars are right-hand drive) and using parts from bag # 10 I blanked off the studs for the front number plate (strictly speaking Japanese cars have front & rear number plates).
The only disappointment is the red and blue chassis components visible on the underside of the car.
One improvement would be to have smooth topped parts to sit in the front footwells to represent fitted carpet mats rather than have studs showing, and the red brick visible in the left-hand front footwell is an annoying distraction.
Thankyou Mike Psiaki.

Two cars in one
I love everything about this kit from how they captured the smooth curves using blocky Lego pieces to the shelf presence and finally the ability to easily swap out components to switch between the Targa and the Turbo models so the building experience ends whenever you want it to. The instruction manual tells you how to build the 911 up to a certain point which is considered the “base model” at which point the instructions diverge depending if you prefer the Targa or Turbo version. What I would have liked is a page or two illustrating the key points of the base model from the sides and underside so that we know how much of the car to deconstruct while swapping between Targa and Turbo configurations to make the process smoother rather than relying on experience with Lego building alone. Either way, it’s very simple to swap between the configurations and as the designer mentioned, if you have a few spare parts lying around, you can even make a Turbo-Targa hybrid though that is a journey for us fans to discover on our own.

Nothing short of phenomenal
This set is stellar. No other way to put it, this set is an absolute must have for any Porsche fan. The build is simplistic yet so much fun and an absolute blast to build through. I started off by going the Turbo route and was not disappointed. I love how simple it is to take the pieces back and build the Targa. The beauty of this set is unparalleled. LEGO has done an incredible job capturing this true vehicular icon.
I don’t know what I love more, there is so much to list. All printed pieces! Exchangeable license plates!
Two sets of wheels in different colors!
This set is a true masterpiece and it has earned its spot as my favorite set that I own. Simplistic, beautiful, and just such an icon. My only regret is that I waited this long to purchase as opposed to grabbing this one on the release date but better late than never!

Phenomenal Build
My father owned a 1977 911s from when it was brand new to 2016. So when I saw this lego coming out, I decided to get back into lego building after a decade of no legos. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the car slowing grow into the Turbo as I built it, even with a few mistakes here and there for being a bit rusty. My favorite feature is the steering wheel being able to turns the front axles, even though the steering wheel is a bit loose. I could’ve easily combined all 10 bags to build the Porsche he had (hard too roof and the targa wheels) but I also love the look of the turbo’s wide body stance and the rear end. If you are a car guy like me, highly recommend.

Best $150 I've spent in a while
An ad for this 911 build showed up on my Instagram feed and I bit. Went to local Lego shop and had a great convo with the sales guy who'd built the models in the window.
I've not built with Legos since I was a kid and wondered if I was up to the challenge. Glad I was! After a year of life disruption, building this was so entertaining and therapeutic. I love the end result and am now afraid I'll be hooked on adult lego projects :)

Love it
When LEGO announced this set, I was ecstatic! My wife and I have several Creator Expert buildings but I weren't really into CE vehicles until this set. On my off day, I turned on chill music and took my time to enjoy the design and the build (approx. 5 hrs). There is only an error on the instruction for one of the rear windows. The only complaint I have on this set is the 2x8 piece for the hood and the roof. Somehow, they have some sort of discoloration at the edge and since this set is in pearl white, they can easily be seen on display.

Beautiful!
So far the Creator series has been hitting out of the park lately. The attention to the detail is amazing. My friends look at it and hardly believe its a lego.

An absolute pleasure
I only have positive things to say about this set. The car is beautiful. Fun and easy build. Love the little details such as printed logos and gauges. The manual shifter, parking brake and forward folding front seats are a nice touch. The engine also has its details that are a pleasure to look at. I'm a gearhead so of course I built the Turbo model. I'll probably go back and purchase another one just to be able to have the Targa model to display too. My only complaint, which is not at all a complaint on this finished product, is that I wish they offered this model in different colors. This car would look mean in all black or in the green that was offered on the 911 Turbo in the Speed Champions Series. Either way, 5/5.

A Proper Porsche
At first I wasn’t too keen on the instructions being on black pages (I’m partially colour blind) but once I got to grips with it I enjoyed the build. I loved that you had a choice of which version you wanted to finish up with. Once completed the car looks fantastic, a very realistic reproduction, it’s not too boxy unlike the DB5 (I hope Lego revisit that model) all in all I highly recommend this build

The 4 Versions of the Porsche 911
This is a great build especially for those who don’t like stickers all the required parts are pre printed so no stickers. The instruction manual is quit cool printed on black pages which work well as most of the parts are in white, it also as bits about the car such as the Targa could have been named the Flori. Only found one small error in the manual on step 12 of the Turbo build shows the printed window being placed next to the black 1x1 bricks should be placed next to the 1x1 white bricks at the other end of the 1x8 plate otherwise the manual is very easy to follow. There are some new pieces besides the new body panels there are some 2x4 tiles with rounded corners and some 1x1 2/3 angled plates I’ve not used before, also there are 2 sets of wheel hubs one set of black and one set of silver as used for the Ford Mustang. After you finish building the contents of bag 7 you have a chose to use either bags 8 and 9 to build the Turbo version of the car or bags 8 and 10 to build the Targa version of the car, whichever one you decide to build you will end up with one bag of parts not used and this is where the manual ends. Alternatively you can combine bags 8,9 and 10 to build 2 further models the Classic none Turbo 911 or the Turbo Targa as demonstrated by Mike Psiaki the designer, either way I have uploaded images of all 4 different styles so you can choose which one you would prefer to build.

Love seeing the 911 in expert Lego form
This set is a really well thought-out build, and I really appreciated how detailed and creatively everything is put together. Something that I think they really did well is the proportions - it really gives it the classic 911 feel.
This makes me really excited for seeing what Lego has in store for any future vehicles.

Very Fun Build!
This was my 2nd Creator Expert build (1st was the Mustang), and I must say, I really enjoyed it. Instructions were easy to follow, and the finished product is absolutely stunning.
I went with the Turbo, and I plan to enjoy it for a little, before rebuilding it into the Targa. I didn’t look at the rest of the instruction booklet, but from what I’ve read, I don’t think there are any set directions for the conversion from one to the other, so I’ll just read the Turbo steps in reverse, then just do the Targa steps.
So in conclusion, I love it!
