An amazing tribute to Senna
This car is simply lovely (no pun intended). It is very detailed and was a fun one to build. I’m an f1 addict and would build this again from enjoyment. I’ve also built Nigel Mansell Williams FW 14B. This Lego set redefined detail with mansells few 14B. I would like to see Niki Laudas 1976 Ferrari 312t.

Fun and technically interesting.
This set is much more difficult than the Speed Champions collection with the modern cars. That makes this set extra special. Building with the app makes it a bit easier. It's a beautiful car of a good size. I would recommend this hours-long building experience to all Senna fans from a certain age.

Great build, poor build quality
I had a brilliant time building this and I loved the tiny details and very immersive building experience and information in the manual. One day after I had finished building the car, I went to show it to somebody and, as I picked it up, the whole car fell into pieces. The rear wing fell off. The rear axle flipped, the front axle broke, the side pods fell apart. I am very disappointed. The underneath of the car is the most fragile thing I have ever touched.

Nice but not complete
My favorite F1 car is the 1988 McLaren, so I was thrilled that Lego chose this one. Unfortunately, the designers at Lego must have been sleeping, as this set has the rear tires just as narrow as the front tires, and without any text on them. I also find it disappointing that the stickers are not correct. They should have the Marlboro logo on them. I know that advertising alcohol or tobacco is not allowed on children's toys, but this set was intended for adults. I would have ordered the correct stickers from England, as well as 3D printed correct tires. That would have been a real eye-catcher. So much so that I have ordered a second one and will do the same with it, but this time with the car of Alain Prost, who surprisingly took more points that year than Senna and still did not become world champion. Pros: - Beautiful car with enough details. - Comes with standard parts, so it's nice to display. - The steering works really well. Cons: - The tires in this set. A real blunder. - The stickers are not the correct ones, and perhaps Lego could have provided a few extra stickers so you could choose between Prost and Senna.

Pole position set
The set is good but would be great if it had the right size/width rear wheels/tyres of which I bought all four upgraded wheels as shown in photos

Happy Hubby
I gave this set as a gift to my partner, who is/was a huge fan of Senna. He was completely surprised and very happy with his building set. This set will definitely have a special place in the living room.

Very nice. Recommend.
Just one complaint. The rear tires are too narrow. They should be twice the width. The car doesn't look right this way.

Nice set for the LEGO collector.
A legendary car for the F1 fan
However, I personally think that the two points are:
1 that the sponsor stickers from that time are missing
2 that the front and rear tires have the same size, which in reality are the rear tires wider

Lovely little build , definitely an icon and looks great on display - and on the 1st of march , Williams racing - Nigel Mansel F1 car - they’d both look great together
I recommend Ayrton senna - this is a good set

Shame about the tyres
As a child, I first started watching formula 1 when Senna was driving this car I've always admired what it achieved and how it looks. The building experience is good and the finished product is a great display piece. My only problem with the set is how Lego didn't bother getting the tyres correct. The rear tyres should be a lot wider than the front and it just looks wrong and I'm very disappointed with this. I had to buy some 3d printed tyres and it really makes a difference. Overall I really like this set and would recommend it.

Great Set for First Timers
This was the first Lego set I've bought for myself. As an F1 fan I was a bit skeptical how the Lego bricks would copy the look of the original car, but man was I wrong.
The build looks brilliant, all the little details from the engine, to the sponsorship stickers were crafted with every detail in mind. It looks superb.
As a beginner builder I was worried I might struggle with some of the fiddlier bits. There was a few times my untrained fingers struggling to attach things together, but overall the build was a breeze. The instructions were nice and clear.
It's clear to see why so many people enjoy building Legos, and I think I may have caught the bug!

Perfect size for Lego Models
I wrote a full review article about this product which can be viewed here - https://theowluc.com/story/motorsport-icons-legos-tribute-to-ayrton-senna/
But in summary, a great tribute piece to the late great Ayrton Senna, I felt the price point, size and level of detail is a great middle ground compared to the larger Technic series and the smaller Speed series products. My only dislike was mounting the vehicle on the stand so I disassembled that part and just kept the plaque and car free standing. Overal a great product that I would recommend to any F1 fan and I hope Lego bring more racing cars out at this size and price point.

Nice scale model
I think it's a very nice scale model with an easy-to-understand description, but I'm disappointed that the Marlboro advertisement isn't on it, and that the rear tires are just as wide as the front tires.

Fun & Relaxing
Fun collecting all pieces, small stickers and big fingers are not an easy mix🤣 but a good laugh.
The package says 18+, but a younger could easily collect it do to the instruction book.
Took a while to assemble do to the many( 693) pieces but it is relaxing😁
As always good quality Lego

McLaren MP4/4 Senna is a fantastic set
The McLaren MP4/4 Senna set is truly exceptional. Whether you're an avid Ayrton Senna enthusiast or a McLaren aficionado, this set is an absolute must-have. It's brimming with intricate details such as the movable airfoil and rotating steering wheel, which elevate its appeal to another level. Also, having Ayrton Senna represented as a minifigure adds an extra layer of excitement.
One aspect worth mentioning is that Ayrton Senna had a strong Brazilian identity. Therefore, it would be valuable to include information in Portuguese within the booklet to enhance the overall experience for Brazilian fans.
Senna, simply the BEST!!!

MP4/4 WOW …..
As an avid Ayrton Senna fan this set is a dream come true. It’s a great build and the completed product is stunning. The purists may have there faults on parts of the design but overall it’s a high level true to form model

Another disappointed Senna fan
As a huge Senna fan, I was so excited to see Lego create a tribute to the greatest F1 driver of all time and this iconic machine, as this year marks 30 years since his death. But the final product just does not live up to Ayrton Senna.
The internet is full of reports about the failures of this model, but as a fan I decided to get it anyway.
First of all, this is a LEGO model, in 1:13 scale. I don't expect it to look like the original. I also know that LEGO uses standard parts and their colors don't match the model when these parts are visible (e.g. the light gray wheel covers or the blue part that can be seen near the front axle).
For me, the 3 biggest flaws are THE HELMET: not even complaining about the position and thickness of the green stripe, but where is the blue one? Senna's helmet was his trademark! THE REAR TIRES: the rear tires were almost twice as big as the front ones, and tires are just so visible on a formula car. THE WHITE-OVER-RED PAINT: well, his baby pink. Why not paint red over white?
For someone like Ayrton, dedicated to perfection, he deserved better.
