1 year review - leaf pieces easy to break
I owned the 40426 and bought this for an upgrade. This definitely looks more classy than the 40426, however it is also harder to hang onto the wall (by design you have to hang it onto a nail or a screw, unless you modify the bricks at the back yourself), compared to the string design on 40426.
I bought this in 2024, and for 2025 I got it out of my cupboard to put up my Christmas decoration - only to find one of the dark green leaf pieces had broken. There are also no duplicate leaf pieces that come with the set, so I am disappointed :(

Wreath-tastic Holiday Decor
This is hands-down the best LEGO Christmas wreaths they’ve made so far. I had an older version from a few years ago, but this one completely surpassed it—it’s more beautiful, more detailed, and just looks fantastic on the wall.
I hung mine in the kitchen (white walls), and it popped perfectly. It’s such a great piece that I genuinely considered leaving it up year-round. It’s going to be a staple part of our holiday décor from now on.
I love this new direction LEGO is taking with more wall-hanging pieces. Please keep them coming—I can see the possibilities and I love where they’re heading with this trend. I’m all in. Love the wreaths.

Good instructions but takes some skill
Fun to put together, but very time consuming. Great rainy day activity. Pieces are durable and on brand for lego as far as quality goes, but so small it's hard to keep track of everything. It's a beautiful design & having fun working on it with family.

Love these kinds of Lego sets!
I’m looking forward to putting this together! I had bought my teenage daughter the Orchid & Chrysanthemum Lego sets & was super impressed with how nice they looked. My 6yr old insisted on helping me with this one (she just picks out the pieces I need) so it’s been a little slow moving. It comes with 9 bags & we’ve finished 4. I do like how it’s built in sections. We can do it one bag at a time & not have to leave stuff out everywhere when we stop. So far, we haven’t ran into any problems! Good, clear directions, pieces connect easily & everything feels sturdy. I think it’s going to come out great!

Classy holiday set—versatile
I received this product in exchange for my personal opinion.Oh boy! This Lego set did not disappoint! My children and I have been thrilled to receive this product. It contains 1194 pieces. Despite that, we finished the whole thing in one day. My daughter worked on part of it and for reference she is eight years old. I did get to a point where it was too difficult for her to complete, so I stepped in to help. I will see it as complex, but is workable. This particular Lego set is versatile as it can be displayed as a wreath or a table runner. You can switch out the color of the berries depending on the season. I love that it is a fun play piece but also a decor piece as well! Great job, Lego!

Repetitive but cute
The LEGO Christmas Wreath is a festive and creative holiday decor piece. Its 2-in-1 design lets you build either a flat wreath or a 3D centerpiece, offering versatility. The festive details, like different berries you can attach are a cute addition and make it versatile.
While assembling the greenery can feel repetitive, the end result is sturdy, reusable, and perfect for smaller spaces. Though slightly pricey, it’s a delightful addition for LEGO fans and a holiday decoration that lasts year after year.

Fun Christmas Lego set
This was so much fun to put together! You can make a Christmas wreath or a garland. It uses pieces that makes it easy to hang the wreath on the wall. It’s not a way I would have thought to display Legos but once this piece is together, it’s sturdy enough to do that.

Nice set
I liked this set. I chose to put together the second version of the wreath - not circular but longitudinal. It is perfect for decorating the table during the Christmas period

Two for one garland
Thought the wreath/garland was attractive but knew that I wanted to use as a garland over my fireplace-based on length of fireplace and length of garland build option, purchased two sets. Built them in tandem-that is 4 repeat sections twice-fine with that. As a wreath, I think the cyclic nature provides internal strength such that it can hang on the wall without too much fragility (although some builders note a few issues.) My plan was to secure each separate 4 unit garland strand to the fireplace and then join (through the exposed garland terminii), the two strands in situ. As a garland, it lacks the internal strength of the wreath and is much more fragile-falls apart readily even when holding by multiple points, especially when trying to secure to the wall or mantle. I found this to be the case when working with a single garland/wreath set-I knew it would be much more fragile if I chose to pick up the entire double set garland.
Ultimately, rather than try to use the hanging holes provided by the Lego piece intended for this purpose (which, when trying to use resulted in multiple failures/rebuilds/cursing the Lego designer), I used wire around the hanging platform to secure two “up” points on each strand of garland to the hooks on the fireplace. I then connected the two garlands as desired. It looks great. Many, many compliments and questioning that it is actually Lego which I consider a success. I’ll probably leave it up thru the Spring and change berry colors. Check out the photo
To the Lego designers: put together some videos on how to hang these things you design-that would be super. I look thru the instruction books and no suggestions, no links to any helpful videos, and nothing in the usually helpful builder app where it would actually be appropriate and applicable.

Looks like the real thing!
Have had my eye on this since it was announced and purchased it during the VIP sales, which helped with the price.
It was fun to build even though I got a bit lost towards the end but then accepted there should be an air of randomness, like a real wreath. It definitely looks the part, from the end of our hallway it looks like the real thing. I definitely would have appreciated some kind of mounting system, but a few command strips is doing the job for now.
Overall really pleased with it, would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Holiday Wreath
What a wonderful holiday wreath this turned out to be. It was a really nice project to work on while the snow was blowing and swirling outside. I’m always amazed at the creative ways LEGO designers use these pieces to create so many fun kits.
I’ve read the reviews of builders whining about the build being repetitive … it’s a wreath, it’s round, it’s covered in greenery … yes you will repeat several steps, multiple times.
The finished build looks great hanging on the wall. I used both the red and white berries on mine, a fun sight to see this holiday season!

Nice
Beautiful autumn wreath or garland. There are different colored berries available, so you can vary the colors.

Better than expected!
This set ended up looking great. Yes, some of the steps were repetitive, but you have to expect that with a round set. It was nice to have options with the berries, and the pinecones looked a lot better than anticipated. Well done lego.

Disappointing
The wreath ultimately looks pretty good. From a distance and in photos, it's great. In person from certain angles, it's a lot more sparse than marketing would lead you to believe. I could probably spend another 20 minutes fluffing mine to make it a little better, but it would only do so much. There's a lot of light bley ball joint sockets that peek through in person. That very easy to see from several angles.
Size-wise, it's a little smaller than expected, but still decent.
The build experience is... Not great. It's VERY repetitive. Bags 1-4 all built the same structural chunk four times. Bags 5-7 are all building the same few leaf sub models over and over. And there's a lot of pushing bars through leaves, so it's actively painful on the fingers.
All in all, it looks really good but not truly great in person. The official pictures definitely were either doctored or specifically set up to painstakingly minimize the amount of the wreath's base that shows through the leaves. The black backdrop on the box also does a lot to hide the black bits of the frame.
If you want a brown plate and greenery parts pack, it's good, but otherwise, I don't think it's worth the $100 as a build experience or a decor piece. 😦

Stunning work of art!
This wreath is a stunning piece of art! I'm over the moon with it! It was fun building it section by section. Instructions were easy to follow. It looks amazing and can't wait to hang it on display over Christmas!

Beautiful display piece
This took my 8 year old son and I four hours over 2 days to build. I am glad that I looked over the entire instruction booklet prior to starting the build because I noticed after you got to the end of the base instructions it said to repeat it three more times. Knowing this was helpful, so I could build all four at once. Instead of going back three more times, I built four before going onto the next step. I found the instructions fairly easy to understand and you just had to adjust some leaves a little to get the other elements in. The last two leaf sets were the only ones I really struggled with as the instructions weren't exactly clear on where they went. Otherwise it was a super fun build and I am left with a gorgeous display piece. There are also three different colors of berries to swap out depending on your preference.
