The Final Frontier
Grew up watching the OG series and movies, my dad used to have the whole series on VHS tape right off the TV. Use to watch it so much. I could find any episode with only a few details. Really wish I would have preordered it when it was first announced so I could have gotten the shuttle bay. Excellent build, really wish they would come out with the OG ship and a Scotty mini figure.

Where no one has gone before
Big time Next Gen fan! This build is so much fun, while re watching all the old episodes. The detail is something else especially the warp engine nacelle’s.

I Wanted to Love This, But LEGO Made It Hard
The model itself looks like the source material. The shape is right, the proportions work, and it displays well. The saucer separation feature is fine and the minifigs are accurate. From a design standpoint, it does what it’s supposed to do.
That said, it’s overpriced. At this price point, the rest of the experience really matters, and this one fell short.
I went on the LEGO website at midnight to buy it and sat in a queue for around 45 minutes just to get through checkout. For a company this large, that’s hard to excuse. LEGO makes billions, yet their website still struggles during major launches. I don’t deal with this when Apple releases products or when other retailers drop high-demand items. This feels like a LEGO-specific problem.
By 8 AM CT the set was already backordered, meaning it wouldn’t arrive in time for Christmas. By 10 AM it was completely out of stock. This was LEGO’s first Star Trek set ever, released as a Black Friday item, and the demand clearly wasn’t planned for. On top of that, many fans missed out on the GWP simply because the system couldn’t keep up.
Another issue that shouldn’t exist at this price: stickers. There shouldn’t be any—especially not incorrectly printed ones. Asking people to rip apart a finished build months later to replace a sticker is ridiculous. At this level, those details should be printed parts from the start.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression, and this was LEGO’s first impression with the Star Trek fanbase.
And LEGO should understand who they’re dealing with here. Star Trek fans don’t mess around. This is the fanbase that organized to get a NASA space shuttle named Enterprise. The fanbase that mounted a massive letter-writing campaign that helped prevent NBC from cancelling Star Trek after the original series. This is a group that organizes, remembers, and holds companies accountable — and I am part of this group.
After nearly 40 years of buying LEGO, this was one of the more frustrating purchase experiences I’ve had. The model itself is fine. The rollout, pricing, and quality decisions were not. For what LEGO is charging, they need to do better—better infrastructure, better inventory planning, and better respect for the fans who showed up on day one.
Looks accurate.
Costs too much.
Launch was mishandled.

Great set, shame about the wait
I've enjoyed building the Enterprise, there's some unusual techniques that make the shape possible. While there are details I'd change, like adding the phaser strip under the saucer and the deflector dish into the housing, it's done well to capture a complex set of shapes.
What wasn't so great was the two months wait. I ordered at launch and received the GWP shuttle pod. The Enterprise was apparently dispatched at the same time but never arrived. Initially I was told it was stuck at customs and then went missing, so a replacement was ordered but it was on back order by then. When it did eventually arrive it used the same tracking number but had the updated (V3) sticker sheet. A great set, but a soured experience due to lack of stock at launch.

What a fun build
I was so excited to get this set. It was my only christmas present and I really enjoyed building it. Alot of fun and watched TNG episodes during the build added to the experience. Its a big set so make sure you have somewhere to display it. Cant wait for more sets for star trek!

Enterprise
Well I’m more of a Star Wars guy, but when I saw this beauty I had to have it day one for sure. The first 20ish bags were a lot of fun. Watching it take shape, the last couple of bags where you’re putting the top together got real repetitive. This is probably one of the best looking ships I’ve ever put together. I really enjoy the smoothness of it, I love Legos but I want my ships to look like ships without all the studs. The minifigs are spot on you definitely know who’s who.

Well designed, solid and massive
The model is much larger than anticipated, and very heavy. This is not a toy to play with. This is a rather technical build and it’s not intuitive to assemble. The Next Gen mini figures are amazing with the right uniform colors, details and expressive faces. I appreciated the stand provided for them. The GWP type 15 shuttle pod that came with it on the Black Friday sale is also well designed and solid. I am happy that it can sit two crew members. Recommended but be aware that it’s big and will need lots of space for display.

I love it
first of all, I would like to say I’m not a really big fan of Star Trek. That’s my dad. I mostly bought this for him not really for myself. I’m a much bigger fan of Star Wars. First, I would like to say whoever designed this one did a fantastic job (believe the same guy who created the UCS millennium falcon) not only did he meet my expectations but the way it’s designed it’s perfect. Look at the areas where they used techniques to make the oval shape of the saucer for example. Sure the pettiness of putting the clips on to be a pain, but that’s how they formed the saucer in a way. When you start to build a saucer, you make this star looking piece and you clip them together. Once you build a star looking piece you’ll work on building small sections with eclipse, followed by the bottom I have you put brick sideways. From there, you put the pieces that are supposed to be the windows. Another awesome feature while I liked is building the bottom portion of the ship where the warp driver is. It’s very cool doing sideways building. At first, I did not even think that would be the bottom portion of the ship until I snapped the two pieces together. I really know a big fan is putting cube bricks together, sometimes especially when they connect above one another due to it easily popping off in your stacking another set on top of it. While you’re assembling it, they use some nice detail of the warp engines. I’m not really sure how to describe this one due to me not really not knowing Star Trek that well only my dad would probably give a better review if he had a Lego account. Other than that if you’re a big Star Trek fan or someone you know who is get them this I’m sure they will not regret building it. I know I had a fantastic time, building it, despite almost putting certain pieces in the wrong spot due to my mom, distracting me while I was building the saucer

Very Fragile and poor building order.
This is build 45. I was working on last bag. Unfortunately the last steps are all working blind on the underside. As I was working the last bag, the stand tipped and I now have about 500 loose pieces. Given my experience I was able to put most sections of the saucer together. Sorry, on the announcement the designer says it survived the 3 foot drop test. Throughout the entire build as I add sections I have to resecure others. The level of difficulty of putting the sections together is easy. The pattern of building and having underneath the last to put other has made this incredibly disappointing. I’m just gathering the pieces and putting the pieces of the saucer in the box and will get to it after the holidays. This has been probably the worst set of the 45 I have built. And I have built 4 of the supercars, all the F1, the Titanic, etc. incredibly disappointing.

Lacks taking you on the journey
I am a huge Star Trek fan and finally excited lego released this. The structure of the enterprise was interesting to build however what this lacked was the little areas within the ship that could of been polished up better, what i mean is the bridge location just had one white piece which i assume would be the captain chair but nothing else. Within the frame you place a enterprise wall piece however the rest of it was just empty so made no sense. When building other lego pieces such as the endurance or hp castle you got to build the rooms or areas within the hp castle and you got to relive the experience of all movies again, didnt get that with this build. Overall nice build hope they bring out more Star Trek lego

This set is clearly a love letter to ST:TNG.
A lot of reviews here seem to miss the insane amount of reference details that are clearly lifted from the actual cutaway designs of the ENTD ship. There are little Easter Eggs INSIDE the build that at times made me wonder if they consulted Michael Okuda himself. As a ST:TNG fan I had an absolute blast building this. The silhouette of the ship is unbelievably impressive- there are curves and angles I never thought were possible to imitate with Lego. The figure set fits the GWP Ensign Ro Laren. There was also an extra phaser that came with Worf so I was able to give it to Ensign Ro Laren as you will see with my included pics. The phaser is a special printed piece so I wanted to make sure to display it. I can not wait to see what other Star Trek offerings we get. This was pure fun.

finally.... boldly building
I have been so excited about this set since the earliest rumours in 2024, and even the delay in shipping and delivery did not fully damper the excitement.
I have lots of other sets but this is far my favourite build and not sure if that's because I love Star Trek, but it was the best nine and half hours (over two days) to complete the build.
Some parts are not that simple including the under section of the sourcer section but once done... Wow
You won't regret this build and now looks amazing in my office

Excellent
I haven’t built a Lego set for 18 years, but I’ve bought a tonne of Star Wars Lego over the years. I’ve always loved Star Trek so couldn’t resist treating myself to this set. It took me 12 hours to build, but I loved every single second of it. Keep the Star Trek sets coming!

To boldy go… lol
First off I would like to address the many low reviews I have read regarding this set. Most of them are from people blasting Lego regarding the GWP of which it was said up front “while supply lasts” I was on Legos website 15 minutes before midnight and was able to order my set with not one but three GWPs to include the Type 15 shuttle. I believe it is unfair to discredit Lego because your not realizing just how popular this set was going to be and anticipating some buyers buying as many as they could because of it’s popularity. That being said I enjoy this set very much putting aside the typo on the ship’s plaque “to boldy go” and the deflector dish is incorrect, it should have had the red rings present with the blue. Others then that it’s a great start in the Star Trek world.

Beautiful Set
Amazing engineering in this set! The proportions are top notch and the build is enjoyable so far.
The way the curves appear as you build is wonderful and feels very sturdy.
The detachable saucer section is a joy!

The TNG Christmas I have been waiting for!
Where do I start? From two minutes before the official order opening I had the order placed and a minute later got my heart at piece with the confirmation. Yes, had to make it so! Took my time building the Onizuka, thats the cherry on top of this impressive set. Love the clever utilization of the gaps in the pieces to create the non illuminated windows in the stardrive section. The minifigs are a treat as well, yes, Spot is my fav as a proud cat lover and owner of 6 furballs. Will wait for the correct sticker before moving to build the saucer as my OCD will never allow me to put that typo sticker inside. Do I recommend this set? Absolutely! With all limbs at that! Now bring my other fav ship LEGO - the Battlestar Galactica! You have time till next Christmas 🥰🥰🥰

Make It So!
The 8 Minifigures (plus Spot, the cat) make this set value for money for any Trekkie, and the bonus is the Enterprise-D herself.
What an absolutely iconic build, created by Trekkies, for Trekkies.
The size of the ship, the recognisable curves of the nacelles, the separation function of the saucer from the engineering section with the clever tongue and groove, and peg lock with the shuttle are all wonderful examples of attention to detail.
Overall I rate this first Star Trek design as 5/5 ⭐️

It took ‘em long enough!
I’ve been wanting a Star Trek set for at least the past 20 years. I have to say that it was definitely worth the wait. The set is incredible. It is extremely detailed all the way down to the minifigs. The set does have a mix of stickers and printed pieces not to make it annoying, but still including the fun of putting on stickers. The set is symmetrical, so it does have some repetition. The final piece is very sturdy and holds up well on the brick built stand. I like that they included a display stand for the minifigs. I do wish that the fact plate would have been attached to the stand in order to limit the amount of loose pieces. There are also two built accessories that do not have a place to attach to. But, overall, this set is definitely recommended for any Star Trek fan.
