Love it!
This is the first kit I've built since I was a kid, nearly 40 years and I love it! Easy and fun to build, and looks great. Some small fiddly bits here and there but I have none popping off as others have experienced, even with the aftermarket light kit fitted. I love the little details such as chum bucket, gas tanks, cage etc. The only small quibble is that the Orca doesn't attach to the display base. A must for any Jaws fan.

How bad the Lego jaws set is
It is horrible the designers need to completely redo the set instructions after you get like halfway done with the set they have you tip the whole boat over and like break half of the boat then you fix it and you do it again and it does it and it breaks then you glue it together and you spend like 20 bucks on glue then after you get done it has you build a shark and the shark just falls apart so then you have to do even more and it takes like triple as long, so that’s why I would not buy this set. This review is true I would not do it. There is more than one review like this this deserves it’s one star

It is so detailed beautifully
The detail in this Lego said is amazing. My family and I spent an entire week putting it together and kind of just wanna display it forever. Jaws has always been a nostalgic movie in our house and it was a real treat to do this as a family fun night.

Is it safe to go back into the lego box
A fun set. Not to difficult to build. A couple of stages needed a second look at the instructions. The boat was enjoyable. I love all the little details. Some you only see while building it. But you know they are there. Bruce the shark had some interesting build techniques. A smaller build but probably my favourite part. One down side is Bruce that if you display the shark in the set you have half a shark on a stand stuck in a draw. Looks good as a display piece.

Fabulous detail
This is the largest set I've completed in my later years, having recently rediscovered my love of lego. It was a 50th present, ideal to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Jaws.
I found it mostly straightforward to do, the hardest part I'd say was 'Bruce', some bits were tricky. However, for my 1st large set I didn't find it too bad at all. I love all the little details, it's a shame you have detail inside the cabin which you can't really see when completed. Nice that there is an option to display for the full shark although I prefer it all on the base.

Excited To Sad
I love the movie JAWS & was very excited to receive this Lego set as a gift. I couldn’t wait to put it together. The ship is very very challenging & does require patience lol I had to put the front of the ship together 3x because the (2) little blue pieces keeps coming apart every time I tried to attach the back & front part of the boat together. & on top of that I was missing a piece from #12 or #13 bag ( which Lego is sending me the missing pieces) . Overall I love the set & everything is just like the original movie. I have included some pictures of the 2 blue pieces that keep coming apart when I try to attach the boat together & also a pic of the missing parts I’m waiting to get shipped to me.

Jaws is my all time favorite movie!!
My awesome aunt and uncle gotten me the Jaws Lego set for my birthday which was this past Sunday but they given it to me just last night. and I just finished today. I honestly really enjoyed building this set.
They (same aunt & uncle) also giving a light kit for this set and I managed to put them on the set itself and Jaws set looks so awesome with the lights on it!
And this was the very first time I’ve ever gotten a light kit for a Lego set.

Here's Bruce!
Looks great when finished with lots of nice details included. Overall it is a decent build, but the bow is really touchy when building it and I feel it should have had a few more points of attachment.

Love it!
Beginner builder here and started collecting sets from my favourite films as a kid and this has been my favourite to do so far!
The front of the boat was bit fiddly but looks fantastic.
The details on the boat and figures are great.

Baffled by the reviews
I bought this on pre-order back in August but have only just got round to building it. I actually wasn’t looking forward to building it having read the reviews saying how difficult it was and that numerous people had resorted to glueing the pieces together to stop it falling apart. Now I have completed the build I am baffled as I had no problems whatsoever. I found the build straight forward and my boat is solid. I think Lego have absolutely nailed the faces of the 3 characters. I’m not sure about the sea base. I feel like it’s just random white pieces stuck on to look like waves but they don’t really. It’s a nice idea to have the two ways of displaying Bruce but I’m not sure it’s necessary. Mine will only be displayed with Bruce “coming out of the water” onto the boat as that is the iconic scene. The set is a little expensive for the number of pieces (the Home Alone house has triple the number of pieces for double the price). £89.99 would have been better but it is a collector’s item so it has been priced accordingly. It would have been really nice to have a buildable shark cage to put the characters into and a few more bits to play with like the Home Alone house comes with. Maybe Lego can create an additional accessory add on pack to go with it (working harpoon gun/bitten yellow lilo/meat chunks etc)?? Please. All in all it is a good set and I would recommend if you are a Jaws fan.

Fiddly but Jawsome!!
I've built tons of sets and I think I can safely say that this has been one of, if not THE, fiddliest sets to build after following the instructions. Some pieces do feel like they just don't quite fit/feel secure together in several places. Credit to LEGO for the packaging, which is much better than the other sets, and if I'm honest, it was still a good build.
Overall, I absolutely love this film and am very happy that it's been made in to a LEGO set.

My Jaws Collection
Just in time for the 50th anniversary in 2025, LEGO debuts this wonderful tribute to the summer blockbuster movie. It makes a very impressive display. Accolades to the designers.

Totally Jawsome!
Since 2010 I have been a Jaws fan and I have been a Lego fan for much longer. When I saw this one drop I knew it would wind up on my list. It is a great piece to my movie and film collection. It is a complex build and takes a lot of skill. The front or bow of the boat was one of the more complex parts to put together. That was the only trick part. I love the detail to this set. There is no shortage of the nostalgia from the original 1975 classic horror film. I admire the detail and the hard work that went into this one. I have to say the boat is my favorite part of this one. I love the shark but the boat is just as much of a major player in this as the shark. You cannot have a Jaws set without the mighty and intrepid Orca. The Mini figures are well done. I love how each one looks just like their movie counterparts. This set really puts a smile on my face. You're definitely going to need a bigger boat my fair Spanish Ladies if you get this set. It is costly but a great build and loads of fun.

I'm Going to Need a Bigger Shelf!
I can't recommend this set enough. The majority of the sets I buy are from the Star Wars or Architecture lines, but as a huge fan of Jaws, I couldn't pass this one up. I especially love the attention to detail such as the little map of the Cape, the tiny "Amity Times" newspaper, and all of the fishing gear. No better way to spend an afternoon than putting Jaws on the TV and breaking open this set.

A Big Fan Of Bruce
I jumped on this set because I am a big fan of Jaws the movie. There is lots to do with this build. Enjoyed all the little details included on the boat and the shark is well conceived. I agree with others who say the eyes could have been more menacing but again in the movie those eyes are pretty blank. The hardest part of the build for me was the front of the boat but through perseverance and a lot of patience everything came together. This was my first build in many years and it was a real treat!

Fin-tastic
The set is incredibly detailed and I can sort of understand a few comments of it being challenging. But for me it added to the enjoyment of the set. I certainly didn’t have any parts collapse when doing the underside - however maybe because I have long skinny fingers the finer details didn’t bother me as much (maybe my partner would have struggled ??)
But really enjoyed it. Huge fan of the film and I think this did it justice. The mini figures are great and so much detail within the boat and love that a lot of effort went into the sea-scape too. A very dynamic scene and thought the building of the shark, in particular, was very interesting

Jaw dropping
Purchased for my son who loves Lego and Jaws. We surprised him with this and he was so excited to put it together. He even took still photos of scenes in the movie using the set. Best Lego purchase !

Worth The Hassle
So I do like this set after it’s finished but the boat and base builds were pains.
Boat is fragile on back and front when handling so any pressure adding during build pushes pieces apart it up. Base had similar problem when pushing pieces on.
Saying all that I’m glad I got set and do love the details on boat even if it’s missing rifle piece. I’m putting the whole shark on display because of how nice it looks too.
Overall a good looking set that has a few hiccups during building process.

10 Stars
I would honestly give this set 10 stars given the option! The amount of detail is so true to the film and the scaling of Bruce (Jaws) is perfect in comparison to the Orca. It was an incredibly enjoyable build particularly the upside down elements on the boat! Kudos to the design team, you really knocked it out of the park with this one Lego :D
