Batman the Legend
I love Brickheadz for two reasons, great gifts and great and fun to build to get good practice to become a future MoC builder. The Batman Brickheadz has 8 Batman’s in 1 and this is epic! Not saying it because I am a Batman fan, but as a LEGO AFOL this set is worth the money. I plan to build all 8 sets, apart from the one already built and shared the picture here. All 8 avatars of Batman with one Brickheadz is a dream come true, however I will build all 8 and buy those many former and dint forget these are great stocking stuffers and gifts too. Dark Knight Rising!!

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
I was expecting to get 8 Batman legos as it says on the box, shocked and disappointed is an understatement to say when I realized you can only build one of the Batman’s, if you want to build the other Batman’s you have to take your original Batman apart. And the instructions only show you how to make one Batman. It says go to this website to find the instructions to the rest, which I assume you’re here for that. Well guess what, it actually makes you download the app to get the instructions, they are not on the website! And the app absolutely sucks! It takes forever to load and is very confusing. Waste of money I wish I could have just bought a normal brick headz for 20 dollars. I’m pretty sure they have a normal Batman for 20 dollars, you might as well save the 5 dollars and disappointment. Maybe I wouldn’t be so mad it if told me I would need to take apart the Lego I just made to make another. Why would I take apart my Lego for a couple pieces. This is so stupid. And don’t even get me started on legos pricing. I swear it’s like 10 dollars a brick now a days. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT!!!!!!!!

It's but.
It's a cool brick head and nice to have a choice. But have to download an app for 7 of the instructions. I actually thought the app made it easier. Also I now have a bunch extra pieces. Would be cool if you can buy packages individually, so you don't have so many leftover pieces.

Holy Options, Batman!
Being able to choose which Batman you like out of over 60 years of material is a lot of fun. I chose Adam West because it’s honestly just the best-looking Batman. As with other Brickheadz builds, it goes pretty quickly but it’s still a good time.

Could have been great, but it's not
Instructions provided are only for one brickhead, not for all 8. And you can't even get the rest of the instructions through the website on PDF cause they're not there. LEGO is forcing consumers onto their horrible app. This set could have been amazing, but it just comes across as lazy and makes me incredible concerned lego will phase of paper instructions to force users onto their buggy app.

Save your money…
Was really looking forward to this set but unfortunately it’s a huge letdown..
From the moment I opened the box to the completion of the one and only build it gives you parts for. It’s such a disappointment. As many have pointed out it comes with only one instruction manual so for the other 7 builds you’re left using the app and its just a horrible experience to use… You can do better than this Lego.

Disappointing.
I'm a big BTAS fan and was excited to see more Lego based on that area of the Batman IP. Unfortunately, this overpriced set is just the Bronze Age Batman with some pieces for the 7 additional alternative builds, with no included instructions for the alternative builds. You're expected to use an app that just doesn't work, and even if it did I think the inflated price should warrant the inclusion of actual physical instructions. Ridiculously poor value for money and a severe lack of foresight as far as customer experience goes. Lego is a break from tech for a lot of us and now we're expected to sit with a screen while we build?

A great set but with some hurdles
Purchased this set shortly after the release with the intention of having all 8 Batmans built at once for display. After some hurdles, hoops to jump through and roughly 7 weeks later it is completed.
The bad:
In order to build all 8 at once the most cost effective approach was to purchase two boxes, over 270 pieces through pick a brick, and needing to go to a third party to buy the extra batwings. For me this worked out to roughly $145CAD all in, which works out to about a 20% premium over the typical Brickheadz price.
The ok:
The printed directions are only available for one of the Batmans, while the rest you have to use the app. While I can understand that this may be an issue for some, if you have a tablet this makes building much easier. Was exposed to this and see that there are upsides particularly on a more challenging set. However, IMO this should be an option.
Was not aware but the not so common pieces through pick a brick come from overseas, not only take 4+weeks to arrive but was pinged a sorting fee as only 7 out of the 270+ pieces came from here. Has I known this I would have grouped this with the third party purchase, spend a little more per piece but save the $9 on the sorting fee and get the pieces 2 or so weeks ahead of time. On top of that was missing a few bricks and the turnaround time for this was an extra almost two weeks.
With the two sets purchased left with many pieces left over, not a bad thing as this would go in my Lego inventory.
The good:
At the end of the day and exercising some patience and some extra work, ended up with a good looking set of Batmans to display. As a Batman fan I'm quite happy with the result.

Too many pieces
It only gives you enough pieces to build one. The amount of leftover I have is new to me, little disappointed that I couldn't build a second model. It is quite small for a $25 set.

Batman celebration
I do like this set, having Batman represented throughout the years is great. Having all of these displayed together is fantastic. My primary issue is simple, it was not great being forced to use the app when all of this could have been in a nice pack with a few fun facts to celebrate Batman, like having the ability to build four of figures in a box. Then the first limit of two would still allow you to build all on offer. The overall experience was tainted a bit via the stress of finding a way to buy enough sets to complete all of these and the lack of a complete build instruction. Now that my display is complete I’m happy

Love this IDEA!!!
I was so excited to build these 8 in 1 Batman BRICKHEADZ. I am a 68 year old senior citizen who only started building Lego 12 years ago. It has been a VERY relaxing hobby for me to say the least. As an older person, I am not very good at technology. But, I was so very happy to have been able to download the instructions. I have built 3 BATMAN 8 in 1 Brickheadz. As soon as I am done with this raving review, I'm heading to my LEGO Store to get the rest. Thank you for exciting new kind of sets and builds. I just love these.

Batman Brickheadz 8 in 1
Really there should be all eight batmen. Rather than just one and swap the bricks around.
Not having a manual for the others was annoying too. And difficult to navigate between bags once one had been built.
Very disappointed with this from this sense.
Had to purchase other pieces in order to build all eight and two sets of Batman Lego.

It could have been great....
...and you'll need more money. Quite a fair bit.
At the VERY least, if we had separate printed blocks in the set, OR they were available to buy on Pick-A-Brick (but you cant because they are licensed and Lego are not allowed to sell them according to the help desk), yeah, would be great. But they aren't, and you can't.
That leaves you with a choice. I purchased all the bascis to cover 5 of the 8. That's just one set, using the double sided printed bricks. But that costs you another £35 on top of the £25 you just spent.
I saw some people bought 8 sets. That's completely daft. To build all 8, you'll need 2 officially sets, and a little less additional bricks from Bricklink. Probably cost you £70 tops. Not £200 like some influencers did.
All that said. Lego dropped the ball on this one, in what could have been an AMAZING set (from a keen DC/BATMAN Lego collector)

Classic TV Batman
Very excited to see the Adam West version of Batman. Bought thinking it was a little high for one (of 8). It was. Such a waste. Container of extra pieces. You need to open every bag, which makes searching for pieces no fun. You also need to follow instructions on app. Just not the same as having the booklet to clearly follow. The build looks good, but I think it could have been done better. Eight separate sets or Batman w his appropriate sidekick per version. Batman w Robin, Alfred, Cat Woman.....

So disappointing
Yes, it clearly states that you can only build one brickheadz at a time, however the $25 price tag is ridiculously high. I was hoping I’d be able to piece a few other together with my own parts but Lego did some shady things like double side prints on the bat symbol pieces severely limiting what else you can do, so now I’m stuck with an overpriced brickheadz a bunch of spare parts and less respect for the company and designers.

NA16 Batman
Bought this originally to get the 1966 model but ended up buying 3 more. Going to try and cobble together all 8 from Lego we have at home already. Great build.

Amazing!!!
I love this set.. I have a large lego collection and so I was able to add a bunch of common parts with 2 copies of this set to build all 8.. I'm just amazed that LEGO produced this set.. it was a risk to do what they did here and I hope it does well.. Thanks so much LEGO!

Overpriced
Looking at other products from the Brickheadz range this one seems heavily overpriced. A lot of those sets you get 2 or in some cases 3 Brickheadz for $30. And most single build Brickheadz are $16. This set is a single Brickhead with a bunch of spare pieces and is $40! At the price you should at least be able to build two of the 8 figures.
Then theres the lack of instructions for the other 7 alt builds. And Lego please dont respond to me with cringe Batman referneces providing me with a link to the PDF instructions that come in the box. The PDFs to the other builds need to be more easily available if you arent going to provide them in the box. I shouldnt have to contact Lego to request permission to receive a download link to them. How tedious do you guys want to make this experience?
You claim your'e trying to move away from paper instructions to help the environment. And then proceed to sell a product that normally sells for $16 for $40 so you can include some extra plastic bags and pieces. That doesn't make much sense....Just give us the instuctions.
This was such a cool idea and Lego stuffed it up big time. If you sold them as 8 seperate Brickheadz for the regular $16, or even $20 each I'd have got all 8. Theres a Star Wars set thats 6 Brickheadz for $95. Why couldnt this have just been all 8 for a little more? Instead now if you want all 8 its $320 and you'll be stuck with an abundance of spares and a new job trying to find the instructions to the other 7 builds. Its so bad. How did this actually even happen?
You should have made all the batman logos stickers if you were trying to make an awful set

Sad Build
So I bought 2 of these sets. As I had the Lego Batman Movie Brick Beadz already. Since didn’t really want that I dismantled and made 1989 out of the pieces.
I used the two 8-1 sets I bought to build my Bronze Age Batman. As well as Batman The Animated Series.
This was clearly overpriced. Lego dropped the ball at a chance to release all these and let fans get the ones they really like. I want Batman the Dark Knight Trilogy but not for the price.
Now the e amount of extra pieces from two boxes I have left is ridiculous.

Missed Opportunity/Instructions Fiasco
As a Brickhead collector (99% displayed in order), I knew I would either be buying multiple of these sets or figuring out the parts I would need to order on BrickLink/Pick a Brick so I could display all of the different variants. But I do think it's a cop-out to have a repeat of #1 (The Lego Batman Movie), so for myself, I'm considering this a 7-in-1 set because I'm not displaying that one twice.
However, the biggest issue I have with this, as it seems other reviewers do as well, is the fact that only one set of paper instructions is given (Bronze Age Batman) instead of one for each Batman variant (or a single booklet with all 8, or 2 per booklet, etc.), and the rest are through the digital builder app. That app is absolutely abysmal and unable to be used on PC.
I only found out after contacting customer service that they have to email you a link to HTML PDFs through Salesforce. Then I had to find a workaround to actually download the PDFs to save on my device. These are unfinished instructions by the way, a proof version or something, and dated from 2023. It shows they had plenty of time to have these available on the website on release day, like they did with the Bronze Age instructions that come with the set.
In conclusion, while the Lego Brickheads Batman 8 in 1 set offers the possibility of a variety of Batman variants (depending on your own sources extra pieces or extra sets), it falls short in providing adequate instructions for each variant, relying heavily on a poorly executed digital builder app. This oversight diminishes the overall experience for collectors and enthusiasts alike. If I didn't have all the Brickheads (not comic con ones) displayed I would not be interested in this. Therefore I cannot recommend it as well.
