Very good Lego set
Vary good car. Very fun to build. It has opening doors, a steering wheel that works on the car, and a slab that you can open to reveal the engine. The build time is about 8 hours . Quick tip if you think their is a missing piece check every single piece and you’ll most likely to find the missing piece. This set teaches you to persevere. The only downside is that assembling the pieces will destroy your fingers . The journey is super long but super fun. The cars design is super cool and looks super good this Lego set is the best Lego set ever!!!!!!

911 Awesome Industrial Build
I love this set, building it has the sense of participation in hardcore construction.
The version I had did not have numbered bags, so to get started most need to be opened. It’s awesome to sit and study all the parts knowing what’s going to be at the other end - it really shows how much work goes into the design.
This car looks awesome when built, I have built 3 Lego cars now at this scale and they are never the same twice…..
This would be cool if it came with a Lego display stand added…..

Not my son’s best Lego experience
My 11 year old son loves Lego. The Land Rover was a present 2 years ago and since then he has bought the Peugeot, Mercedes F1 and now the Porsche 911, with his own money.
It has been a great Lego experience until the 911.
We ordered online and the box wasn’t in mint condition (some won’t care, but this is all part of the experience). The instruction book had the first page detached (some won’t care, but again, this is the experience) and unlike the other sets, the bags aren’t numbered so you have to open everything! This means Lego is scattered everywhere, there is a fear of losing pieces and build experience isn’t the usual brilliant Lego experience.
I’d definitely recommend all his other Lego sets before this 911.

A glory to build and admire
As a Porsche enthusiast, this was such an enjoyable build. I hadn’t built a large Technic set for years and was seriously impressed with the quality, detail, technicality, and function of this car.
I enjoyed every minute of constructing this iconic car and love admiring it every time I walk past it on display, the level of detail in this model is very impressive, especially the highly detailed stickers which add character and make it as real as possible. The rear differential, 6 cylinder boxer engine, steering setup and suspension mechanisms were a joy to put together and appreciate these more complex working parts. Highly recommend for any car enthusiast, looks awesome on display!

Very satisfying build!
I’ve read many mixed reviews on this set. But we all have different tastes in aesthetics. I got this set sealed at a great price. I really enjoyed the challenge of opening all of the unnumbered bags and sorting pieces in groups. I will say you need some space for this build. I always build on our dining room table and I needed most of it. I put all matching pins and small parts in small containers that have lids for keeping things together when I wasn’t building. In all honesty, after spending a couple of hours sorting and grouping parts together…the build actually went faster than usual. I’m thinking it’s because I wasn’t opening a # bag every step and arranging parts during the build. This build was fun. Overall the car is much sturdier than my recent Ferrari 488 GTE build. I watched numerous videos on how to do the lower suspension mod. But I used pieces I had and found a much easier way to achieve this with less parts. Anyone who understands Technic parts and has spares can find any number of ways to do this. It really does set the car off! I’ll be lowering my Ferrari 488 next. Yes, this set has 2 full sheets of stickers. But they really blend seamlessly into the build and give a very nice look to the finished car. I also tucked the big headlight covers under the front clip. Just looks a bit cleaner in my opinion. I recommend getting this set before it’s retirement this year. Whether you want one to build or store sealed, no doubt this sub 1600 piece set will grow in value. Prices have been climbing since it’s retirement was announced at online stores and other platforms. Part of its popularity is no doubt due to the unnumbered bags. But primarily because this car looks like a 2000 piece set. It’s large and wide. It just looks great. Highly recommend this set!

Coping over the retired 911 gt3 rs
The build was fun to do as I did it in 1 sitting. Bags aren’t labeled so it made it some what confusing at first but once you start going, you remember where the pieces are located. Overall great build and its nice to have as you cant purchase the road car variant anymore.

Unnumbered bags
I was concerned by reviews concerning the lack of numbered bags and was nearly put off from purchasing this model. That would have been a big mistake!
I only started modelling in lockdown and have so far completed several Star Wars helmets, the Fiat & Vespa - all look amazing! I am now building a supercar collection and started with the Porsche (before I move to tackling the Lamborghini and Ferrari).
I have kept all parts in their bags and whilst initial progress was much slower than previous sets whilst getting used to what parts were in which bags you quickly get familiar and find most pieces with little trouble. Indeed I am actually finding the additional challenge very rewarding - it takes a bit longer which is good (I have to pace myself anyway to prevent me completing sets too quickly) and I suspect numbered bags may seem too easy after this.
Admittedly I’m not far into the build (step 120 of 504) but the lack of numbered bags is already no problem and it should get easier still as the number of pieces remaining reduces.
So if like me you have concerns then I’d recommend you just go ahead and buy/try - it’s already a fabulous build and I can’t wait to complete and move on to the larger sets.

Added Powered Up Motors to the Porsche
Added 2 large Power Up motors and Hub to the Porsche, to fit the motor under the engine you will need to raise the engine by one hole. There is plenty of room in the engine bay to do this, also if you want the engine to turn with the wheels you will need to replace the 12 tooth bevel gear with a 28 tooth bevel gear, element #6259270. If you place the 2 large motors on ports A & B of the Hub you can use the Control+ app to control the car, choose the RC Buggy from the list of vehicles otherwise use the Power Up App to write your own program to control the car.

Excellent build
For a small 1850 piece kit, it is an excellent build. I built it in between Xmas decorations that is why it took so long but it was fun. It included around 50 plus decals which, at the beginning, I was not to excited about, but as I got into the building process, I became very good at placing them straight and looking good. I can only imagine the price of the kit if, instead of decals, they had the bricks printed! Wow! It may have double ore more the price! One good factor is that the bags were not numbered! That made the kit a bit more challenging. I have built other kits like this and it creates another different set of rules on how tow sort the brick to ease the build. That’s when experience takes over. I enjoyed it very much. The kit was missing only two bricks. Out of 1,850 that is a 0.126% which, for statistics say, not significant. But for a build, it means a delay, if you don’t have a stash of your own to pick from as I do, of about 15 days from the date you order until you receive them. That is if you don’t have to go through the Customer Support, as was my case, and your phone area code (as is my case 787 Puerto Rico) is not included in the support 800 number! Then you have to use the slow email process that due to high email activity, takes longer than 15 days to solve an issue. At any rate, I emailed my missing parts request and thanks to my stash, I was able to sort of finish my build using gray bricks instead of white. The kit is not simple to build, it is challenging and engineering did a great job in replicating the 911. Don’t forget this is a Lego replica and at the end of the instruction book, you will find a photo of the actual car and the kit. It just looks fantastic! The quality of the instruction book shows a little deterioration, I have to assume, due to the increased amount of work. Pages are wrinkled, some are not square and show the trim edges. Nothing that will stop the building process but not the quality Lego has used to provide. I think Lego has lost quality due to quantity. My personal opinion. I am still a Lego fan, just ordered the Colosseum and can’t wait for it’s arrival to start building that wonderful creation. Merry Christmas to all and Happy building!!!!

Mark, Set, GO
This is my first large Technic build and having seen this built up in a local store I just couldn't wait to create my own version. It is surprisingly large when completed and even though I had seen one built it still shocked me when I saw the completed size.
STICKER WARNING! This kit is sticker heavy. Yes, they do enhance the look of the vehicle in general but some of them I just could not get right. The way the word Porsche is spread over the rear spoiler just looks a mess and I really did my best with it. This is such a visible piece on the completed vehicle and so torturous to even approximate how it should look I feel it should have been preprinted. Whilst I'm on a moan I will also mention I got just over 3 Hours in to the build and found I was missing a 1 x 15 strut piece. I even double checked the build up to that point and I had not used a wrong part so it was definitely missing (even after thorough bag, box and floor checks). Thank goodness for stash as I couldn't imagine having to wait for a replacement part after spending so long building.
Now on to the good stuff. I LOVED THIS BUILD. Honestly, I just kept going and going until it was finished and I never felt jaded or tired whilst constructing the vehicle. I even had to be forced to stop to eat. Honestly this was really absorbing and watching the vehicle emerge from a bunch of random looking connectors and struts was incredible and made me immeasurably happy.
If you are on the fence about getting a larger Technic kit I cannot recommend this vehicle highly enough. If anything it was actually easier than the smaller sets I've built. The only thing I would say is make sure you have a large stable building surface as this thing really takes up some space. Also, there are NO numbered bags so you will need to open everything up and wrangling nearly 1600 pieces can be a challenge in itself.

Excellent Value
My first Lego set, purchased it to relax and unwind and I really did enjoy building this Porsche over the past 4 days (3hrs a day). The size of this product is huge, looks fantastic and most importantly, great value for your money.
Highly recommend it to anyone, won't be disappointed.

What a pleasant surprise
I bought this kit thinking it was really cool already, being a Porsche 911 fan, and I was still completely blown away. I couldn't stop building it, and the entire time, I kept stopping to marvel at the engineering that went into this. It is sturdy, heavy, and larger than I originally expected. I was so impressed, 100% must buy if you are on the line. The only thing I didn't enjoy was putting the stickers on because it's difficult to get them perfectly straight, but once I figured out a strategy, it wasn't that bad, but otherwise, so much fun and a great collector item, especially since these appear to be limited runs.

Very good value for money
This was my very first Technic build. I originally wanted the Ferrari F40 but $300+ price tag was a bit out of my price range. The Porsche RSR at $149 seemed like a great deal albeit if its a tad smaller in scale.
The build itself was very satisfying and to me, the end result looks terrific. Lego does some very clever things to acheive certain design aspects of the car. Particularly the rear of the car and the air diffuser- it looks fantastic.
I found that using a very small pair of tweezers really helped me place the stickers nice and evenly. And I sorted all the parts by type in the beginning which really helped the process.
My only bit of constructive criticism is with the engine. I think its SO cool how they designed it to function with the differential. Also integrating the crankshaft within the connecting rods as seperate little pieces was very clever. Now I understand that they want you to see the engine function and I appreciate that. However, I would have loved more engine detail- perhaps valve covers and an intake manifold with an air intake, maybe even exhaust headers. I understand, then you wouldnt see the pistons moving. But it would still be so cool to know they were under all that added realistic detail. I also agree with others that the wheels could have been a larger diameter. But these are very small little observations.
All in all, this is a great entry level Technic kit and also, I must mention, Legos shipping was incredibly fast and efficient. Considering what we are all dealing with right now, I very much appreciated the people who are still working in these warehouses and allowing us to keep ourselves occupied. Thanks for all your work, Lego

Overall, good build, bad execution.
I am a retired US military veteran with PTSD, depression, anxiety and multiple physical issues. A friend of mine recommended LEGO as a way to cope with the PTSD and anxiety. This was my 10th LEGO build in about 2 months and I must say, thank you LEGO!!!! I have found something that helps. When I saw this model, I was so excited. My wife convinced me to built the Ford Mustang creator set first. I did. And there are pros and cons to this set. First, the pros
1. The engine was the first LEGO engine I’ve ever built. Functionality was spot on. I do work on cars and this made it easy to explain to a friend how car engines work.
2. The rear differential was also spot on. Again made it easy to explain what it is and why it’s important.
3. Pieces for price was great. I’ve noticed that on average you get around 100 pieces for every $10. Sometimes more, sometimes less, so this was right there.
4. Building was a joy, it was fun as this was my first ever Technic set. I really liked seeing how to use technic (with few LEGO blocks) to build as compared to brick alone (with few technic pieces for fit/function).
Now the cons
1. The steering is super loose and feels very flimsy. I would expect a much tighter steering feel. The Mustang was my first experience with actual steering and since it primarily used gears and not joints, it was much tighter. The Porsche does not travel Straight by any means. This, unfortunately hurts playability.
2. As with the steering, the wheels feel loose like they’re gonna fall right off, combined with sloppy steering, I couldn’t keep it out. Knowing these was a mental eyesore and I had to take it apart. Sadly, this will be a parts bin toy...
3. Those horrendous headlights.... the absolute worst feature were the headlights, just god awful to look at. I’ve never been a fan of Porsche headlights, but man were the revolting to look at.
4. The body gaps. The body gaps, the body gaps!!!! The advertising talks about the detailed interior? You mean the beams and no floor? The only part that felt well done was the rear frack lid.
Conclusion.
Thank you LEGO for giving a disabled vet something to cope with! I’ve done a few other LEGO technic sets and I’ve been, overall pleased. I love the cranes, but this one really falls short. Very fun build but the end product feels like cooking an excellent meal only to have the family hate it....

A must have for Porsche enthusiasts. A great way to see the placement of the mid engine flat six in the new 911 race car. Not as complex as the GT3 RS but still fun none the less.

Excellent!
Excellent and very fun. I first bought the Bugatti Chiron, of course, at more than double the price, but that one feels premium, this one is just very good. If you have the Bugatti, expect much less in terms of presentation, packaging quality, and content distribution in the package. Regarding the model, the engine and steering are functional, but it does not have a gearbox like the Chiron. Overall, excellent.
