This is a fantastic looking and relatively articulate mech and I think the minifigure selection is solid. That being said it is also more expensive, less stable, and has less articulation than Cole's Titan Mech which is a bit disappointing. I would still absolutely recommend this to mech enthusiasts and of course ninjago fans.
I just got this mech and it was amazing I spent about an hour building it and it was totally worth it.
I was very excited when this set was first revealed! After missing out on the original Lloyd's Titan Mech from 2019, I was super pleased that I'd be able to buy a version of this iconic vehicle without having to brave the aftermarket prices 🤣and this set met my expectations. Design-wise it's very faithful to the original while improving on articulation ( ✨knees✨), upscaling it, and putting modern building techniques/parts on display (shoutout to the Seabound blades on it's chest). My only complaint with this mech would be its value. Costing £30 more than Cole's Titan Dragon Mech from 2024 yet being the same height is not ideal. Admittedly, Lloyd's mech is bulkier but I'm not sure if I see £30 extra of value. The mech can be a little more fragile than some smaller Ninjago mechs, however primarily as a display set I don't think this is a major issue. Finally I'd like to mention the minifig selection, while small, feels perfect for this set. Lloyd zx is a very high quality figure, Grimfax fits in perfectly with the 2019 Blizzard Samurai (although the ice on his back and legs could have used more detailing), and the Master of Ice looks amazing with the other annversary figures. I would highly recommend this set, however if you can still find Cole's Titan mech and don't have it yet, I'd recommend you buy that set first
Lloyd’s Titan Mech (Legacy) is one of the best Ninjago mechs ever made. It’s tall, strong, and super poseable, with an awesome green and gold design and a huge golden sword. The build is fun and detailed, and the minifigures—especially the Legacy Lloyd—are great for collectors. It looks amazing on display and is perfect for any Ninjago fan who loves Titan Mechs.
