Looking for spoken
Anyone who loves LEGO will be amazed by this LEGO Hidden Side Ghost Fire Truck 3000. It has very nice and different blocks that, after some puzzling, create a beautiful model. Recommended for ages 8 and up, for both boys and girls. This set fits perfectly with the other sets in the series. Once everything is assembled, you can start catching ghosts using the easily downloadable program on your smartphone by pointing the smartphone's camera at the car. The other games associated with this set also ensure that children will have plenty of fun with their LEGO. It is mainly the combination of playing with the LEGO and using the new technology that makes the game enjoyable.

Awesome!
The excitement begins with this article when seeing the box, my 8-year-old son was really impressed. For us, this was a first introduction to the 'Reality - experience' (AR) and that only emphasized the adventure of this set for my son. It does require a bit of patience to put the set together, and for younger kids like my son, that can be quite challenging, but with a little help, which we were happy to provide, everything was assembled in one day. The quality is as we expect from LEGO, and we were also pleasantly surprised by the fun details and various ways of building. This set really offers a challenge, so don't expect to just quickly put it together, you really need to look closely at how it fits together, and on top of each other. This set includes 5 very fun figures, each with its own fun and also funny details. The most striking figure (not a LEGO figure) is the final boss ghost, a great construction and impressive to see. And then there's the app, the icing on the cake. The LEGO comes to life, at least for children, it's easy. My son and his father were completely engrossed in it, and later my son also had a lot of fun playing with it on his own. He needed a little time to get used to it, but then a whole world of fantasy opened up.

Comprehensive LEGO AR play set
This is the first LEGO set that my son (age 8) wanted to play with after watching LEGO Masters every week. He found it challenging, but also fun to build, and he spent two whole afternoons on it. He was proud that he managed to do it with a little help from his dad and the clear instructions. Once the building was finished, they played. Together with his older sister, who is 10. They played and imagined putting out the fire and swapped the double faces of the figures. From funny to evil expressions. The many details in the model provided a lot of fun and imagination. The Mech was taken apart and put back together, and the wings were opened and closed. It was also fun to play with it independently. Then it was time for the LEGO AR App. Both were installed on the iPad, and the game of hunting for and collecting figures in the app could begin. They spent hours trying to see if they could collect the same figures while playing. This was a fantastic addition that provided even more hours of fun.

Are you going on a ghost hunt?
What a great opportunity to test this set. My children love LEGO. Especially my 8-year-old daughter and my 5-year-old son. Their enthusiasm was clear to see as they put this set together. My daughter prefers to work with LEGO herself, and this set was also perfectly suitable for her to assemble independently. The set has many small parts, so it is not suitable for young children. Another disadvantage is that the set has a lot of details. This is initially not a disadvantage, as it makes the set very beautiful and special, but if something 'breaks', it can be difficult to put it back together without the instructions. The instructions are, as you would expect from LEGO, clearly written. The illustrations are self-explanatory. After you have put the set together, you can download the Hidden Side AR app. This app scans your creation, and then you can go on a ghost hunt! My son had seen this with a friend before and was very enthusiastic. You can play alone or with others. The idea is to click on the ghosts to make them disappear. But be quick, because before you know it, they are gone again. We are very enthusiastic about this set and will definitely buy more sets from the Hidden Side range!

Building, playing, and gaming.
My 7-year-old son built it in a few hours. He found the spooky theme to be exciting in a fun way. The LEGO instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Many different building techniques are used, with bricks being built "on their side" (Stubs Not On Top). This creates beautiful shapes in this otherwise classic fire truck model. The car is extended with spooky cannons on the sides, the back is a separate "mech" with even more spooky cannons and can be used on its own as a vehicle. There are five figures included: 3 ghost hunters, a ghost, a TV robot, and most of these figures also have alternative faces - including the TV robot. Very funny! With a little imagination, you could see the large black monster as the sixth figure: Here, "tentacle bricks" were used to give it incredibly long arms and legs. This is also a really nice use of the bricks. You can enjoy this set in several ways: 1. Building - Simply a beautiful and challenging model 2. Playing - The theme invites imaginative play, and thanks to the many figures, easy stories can be created 3. AR via the app - You can scan your model and then go hunting for ghosts. The AR function is completely new to us: The fire truck appears on the phone, but because it also positions itself in the virtual environment, you have much more possibilities to use the set. You really have to look for the virtual ghost in the model. You have to open the shutters, scan the ghost, turn the spooky cannons, etc. A super fun addition to this beautiful themed set.
