Back to Hogwarts is not a simple one-gift, one-threshold promotion this year. Between 29 August and 6 September 2026, three Harry Potter offers run side by side. The phone box belongs to one specific set, the largest separate gift has a spending threshold, and the smallest gift also requires a set from a fixed list.
The easy way through it is to choose the set you genuinely want first. Only then should you check which gift follows.

For 76476, the phone box is the real extra
The new Ministry of Magic – Collectors’ Edition 76476 launches at 429.99 euros, contains 3,491 pieces and includes 14 minifigures. LEGO Insiders can order on 29 August; general sales begin on 1 September.
Only this set comes with 5011072, a small red phone box. It is not a gift you can earn with a random Harry Potter order. If you already intended to buy 76476 directly from LEGO.com, the Insider launch is the sensible moment to check your cart.
The purchase also clears the general 130-euro threshold. Even so, the promotion page does not give a simple guarantee that the phone box and 40901 will always stack. Count both only when they actually appear in your cart before payment. Set 76476 is not on the eligible list for 30724.
At 130 euros, the most substantial gift
Set 40901 combines two small Ministry scenes: a snack stall and the Daily Prophet. LEGO gives it the highest value of the three at 19.99 euros. The condition is a Harry Potter spend of at least 130 euros; no specific set list is attached.
That makes the threshold most useful when you already planned to combine two or three sets. Do not pad an order with something you do not need just to reach 130 euros. A 19.99-euro gift does not compensate for an unnecessary extra 30-euro purchase.
At 40 euros, but only with a set from the list
Spending forty euros is not enough for 30724. Your order must include at least one set specifically named by LEGO. Recent examples include 76473, 76478, 76474, 76462 and 76463. The official promotion page carries the complete list.
This is the smallest gift: a compact Dumbledore’s Office scene with Harry. Its threshold is low, but the set restriction makes it narrower than it first appears. Check the cart if you choose an older or unusual Harry Potter set.
When is LEGO.com genuinely worth it here?
For 76476, the answer is straightforward: if you want the exclusive set immediately, the phone box adds a clear benefit to buying direct. On a 130-euro-plus order, 40901 can tip the balance, but only if retail prices elsewhere are not much lower. For 30724, the difference is small; do not buy a more expensive set than planned to obtain it.
The honest calculation remains: retail price elsewhere versus the LEGO.com price, plus a gift you actually value. A gift’s stated value is not a cash discount. Check the live cart first, then compare the full total.
