Great overall set
I enjoyed the build overall, especially moving parts like the rear differential, 6 cylinder engine, suspensions, etc...
I wasn't too keen on two pages of stickers that I was constantly putting on the lego pieces, but it does look nice overall.
The build time takes around 6 hours non-stop uninterrupted, but definitely plan for 7+ hours as you'll be taking stretch breaks and being mesmerized by some of the moving parts.

Het is gewoon de zoveelste prachtwagen in zijn (LEGO)prijsklasse. ;-)

Eerste ervaring met Lego Technic
Als kind heb ik vroeger veel met Lego gespeeld, maar dit was mijn eerste Lego bouwset voor volwassenen en ook mijn eerste ervaring met Lego Technic. Het was even slikken toen ik zag hoe dik de handleiding was, maar ze was super gedetailleerd opgebouwd. Ik heb enorm veel bewondering voor degene die deze set ontworpen heeft. Aan alles is tot in de kleinste details gedacht. Deze bouwset heeft mij meerdere uren laten ontspannen en mijn gedachten laten wegdwalen van mijn anders zo drukke leventje.
Great build, with one huge asterisk
This was my first car build (12th overall), and I really enjoyed most of the experience. It was great to watch it progress, and the 3D instructions on the Builder app were incredibly helpful at times.
That said, there's one huge drawback: SO. MANY. STICKERS. I get annoyed when there are five stickers, and this one has close to 80. EIGHTY STICKERS. Every time I got into a rhythm, a series of fiddling with stickers reminded me how much I hate them.
Awesome Vehicle
It comes with 12 bags and 74 stickers and took me about 12 hours to complete. Was a straight forward build with some cool techniques I had not seen before. Overall a really fun experience and awesome vehicle.

I really enjoy this set as I am both a big Lego and formula one fan, combining both into a large scale set like this was great, the building was a bit tedious but the result was worth it, very technical, love the differential and engine

Solid build, impressive functionality! Only downside: instructions can be amusingly confusing at times. Overall, a great LEGO F1 set.

Als een Formula 1 liefhebber kun je niet rond deze build. Mooie details en afwerkiing. En zeker in deze schaal! De verdeling van de zakjes is optimaal als je, net als ik, twee zakjes wil doen per avond. Goed voor anderhalf uur bouwgenot.De levering was perfect, het bouwen was heerlijk. En ik heb deze nu aan de muur gehangen met een beugel die je ergens anders heel gemakkelijk kunt bestellen
Great build. Too many plastic bags....
The build was great, complex, involved, meditative and it looks AWESOME as a completed model.
But why are there so many plastic bags? It's not going to expire or go off. Surely you have a plan to reduce this?.....
Awesome Experience
I have recently fallen into the hole of buying all the recent Lego Formula 1 releases and this was my latest and best one. The attention to detail in the steering and suspension is awesome. I loved assembling the engine and differential. The fact that they move is just icing on the cake. It is an extremely fun build it took me about 8 hrs to do. I highly recommend for a collector or a great parent and child project. It can help teach how basic mechanics work.

Thank you Lego. This was a great build for a beginner such as myself and I can officially say that I am now addicted to Lego Technic F1 cars. My new 2022 McLaren F1 race car arrives tomorrow!
My First Technics Build
This is my first attempt at a Lego Technics build. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the finished model looks amazing.
I’m delighted how intricate and detailed it is and so true to the real thing.
I did find the printed instructions a little tricky to follow at times, thank goodness for the detailed and animated ‘Lego Builder’ app.
Question… why is the Lego Builder app not available for MacBook or iMac?

De Mercedes is goed ontworpen en nagemaakt van het origineel met geraffineerde details, ook in de stickers. Hoewel ik de McLaren ook heb vond ik deze echt wel mooier. Ik hoop dat de ferrari en uiteraard de RB19/RB20 ook nog komt om het compleet te maken.Ik raad deze set zeker aan voor alle F1 fans ;-)
