Bought this LEGO Baseplate (@ Rs 1195/-) couple of weeks ago for my child to use it to create his creations on the plate properly. I initially went looking for the same in the brick & mortar stores - Hamleys, Shopper Stop, WestSide, Saffire Toy store but funnily none of them had with them in stock though they had kept LEGO stuff with them. Finally, I picked it up from Amazon when they became available as "Amazon Fulfilled" service.1. The size of the base plate is really big & can accommodate quite a few of the kids creation. Just to give an idea - fits into the big floor tiles but still leaves edges free.2. Mind you the plates are thin & delicate so you have to handle with care. Preferably ask the kids to play on the flat surface (definitely not onthe bed).A must have for LEGO players as it assist you in keeping all those small small pieces in one place.
