LEGO Fortnite sets 2026: Battle Bus, Rave Cave or build figure — what fits you?

LEGO Fortnite splits into two directions: large build figures and mechs for display, and playable locations and vehicles for the Fortnite player at home. This guide helps you pick the right side.

Transparency: some retailer links are affiliate links. The price you pay does not change. How we earn.

Brick-built survival island with floating blue bus, fort, glider, cliffs, river and supply crates
Fortnite sets work best when the scene is immediately recognizable: vehicle, base and display object.

LEGO Fortnite launched in 2024 and now has fourteen active sets. The line has two faces with little in common. On one side sit large build figures and mechs — Peely Bone, Mecha Team Leader, KIT — sets you place and admire. On the other sit locations and vehicles — Rave Cave, Battle Bus, Durrr Burger — sets you play with and use. Which side you choose determines which set you need.

Buying filter: avoid the impressive wrong set

Do not read this guide as a ranking you follow from top to bottom. Start with the builder: will they act out scenes, collect minifigures, or put the finished model on a shelf? That answer decides whether price per piece, character appeal or display value should carry the most weight.

Buying goal Check first BricksDeal approach
Gift this week Recognisable subject, clear age range, stock at reliable retailers Sort by current lowest price and delivery time
Collecting Unique minifigures, limited availability, retirement risk Set a price alert well below RRP
Display Build experience, footprint, how well the model stands alone Wait for 15-20% under RRP instead of chasing a tiny daily price move

From the sets in this guide, I would track 77082 Rave Cave, 77081 KIT and 77080 Supply Drop first. Not because those are automatically the best deals, but because a price move on a larger or more giftable set changes the buying decision fastest.

New in 2026: five sets

Set Pieces RRP Type
77082 Rave Cave 1,963 € 199.99 Location, multiple floors
77081 KIT 1,230 € 99.99 Build figure
77080 Supply Drop 314 € 39.99 Classic game object
40881 Supply Llama & Fishstick 300 € 24.99 Two compact figures
77079 Tomatohead 210 € 14.99 Build figure

77082 Rave Cave (1,963 pieces) is the 2026 flagship. A complete multi-floor location with light functions and cosmetic references from the game. For anyone wanting one Fortnite display set from the 2026 wave, this is the answer.

77081 KIT follows the build figure pattern of Peely Bone and Mecha Team Leader, but at 1,230 pieces it sits in scale between the two. Good as an addition to a build figure collection — less compelling as the only Fortnite purchase.

Large build figures: Peely, Mecha Team Leader and KIT

This is the line that sets LEGO Fortnite apart from other game themes. Not play sets, but display objects:

  • 77078 Mecha Team Leader (2,503 pieces, 2025, RRP € 229.99): largest active Fortnite set, full mech at scale. For maximum display.
  • 77072 Peely Bone (1,414 pieces, 2024): the skeleton banana in build figure form. Classic Fortnite humour at display size.
  • 77081 KIT (1,230 pieces, 2026): newest addition to the build figure line.

Of these three, I would pick Peely Bone first over KIT — the character is more iconic and the skeleton form photographs better on a shelf. But if you already have Peely, KIT is the natural next step.

Locations and vehicles

  • 77073 Battle Bus (954 pieces, 2024, RRP € 99.99): the hot-air balloon bus that opens every match. Most recognisable Fortnite object for people who know the game but don’t play it.
  • 77076 Durrr Burger Restaurant (546 pieces, 2025): the Durrr Burger landmark from the game.
  • 77077 Klombo (1,084 pieces, 2025): the large Klombo creature. A completely different style from build figures or mechs.

77073 Battle Bus is my recommendation as a gift for someone who knows Fortnite but doesn’t necessarily collect: the object is immediately identifiable, even for parents who only know the game by name.

Compact sets and entry points

Set Pieces RRP What it is
77079 Tomatohead 210 € 14.99 Build figure Tomatohead
77075 Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp 250 € 19.99 Small scenario, two characters
40884 Drift & Raven Figures 280 € 24.99 Two character figures
77080 Supply Drop 314 € 39.99 Classic supply drop

40884 Drift & Raven is interesting for anyone who cares about skins: Drift and Raven are from Fortnite’s first season and have been unavailable as actual in-game rewards for years. For skin collectors, this set carries extra context.

When to buy?

The 2024 sets (77072 Peely Bone, 77073 Battle Bus, 77075 Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp) have now stabilised below RRP and offer the best value in the line right now. The 2025 sets are moving slowly towards price drop. The 2026 sets remain at RRP until at least Q4.

Waiting for the best deal on 77082 Rave Cave: Black Friday is the realistic first moment for a price drop above 10 percent. Set a price alert and watch lego-black-friday.

TL;DR for gift buyers

Four situations, four answers:

  • Child who plays Fortnite, budget under 40 euros: 77079 Tomatohead or 77075 Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp.
  • Recognisable gift, also for non-players: 77073 Battle Bus. Everyone knows that bus.
  • Display fan, build figure style: 77072 Peely Bone (if not already owned) or 77081 KIT.
  • Large display, best value per piece: 77082 Rave Cave or 77078 Mecha Team Leader.

Buying timeline

Build figure or location — which route fits?

LEGO Fortnite has two faces that call for different buying strategies: display objects and play-scale locations.

  1. Pick a direction

    Display figure or game location?

Build figures (Peely Bone, Mecha Team Leader, KIT) are placed and admired; locations (Rave Cave, Battle Bus, Durrr Burger) are played with — that choice determines which sets are relevant.

  2. Generation check

The 2024 sets offer the best value now

77072 Peely Bone and 77073 Battle Bus from 2024 have stabilised below RRP; the 2026 launches are expected to hold at RRP until at least Q4.

  3. Right moment

Buy the Battle Bus as a gift, now

For a recognisable gift to a Fortnite player, 77073 Battle Bus is the safest buy right now: widely available, below RRP and immediately identifiable.

  4. Wrong expectation

Do not wait for a Rave Cave discount before Black Friday

77082 Rave Cave is unlikely to drop more than 10 percent until around Black Friday — paying full RRP for a 2026 launch now is normal and not a mistake.
