LEGO Star Wars last chance to buy: which sets should you track now?

A Netherlands-market buying guide for the ten LEGO Star Wars sets on LEGO.com's official last-chance list, with advice by price, stock and collector value.

Transparency: some retailer links are affiliate links. The price you pay does not change. How we earn.

A last-chance label only helps when you compare it with price, stock and your actual wishlist.

The official LEGO.com page LEGO sets retiring soon showed ten Star Wars sets with a last-chance label on May 18, 2026. Useful, but not a buy order. One last-chance set can still be widely available at Dutch retailers, while another may already be on backorder at LEGO.com.

This guide uses the same structure as our LEGO retiring sets guide: official status first, then price, stock and personal buying value. For the full active line, use the LEGO Star Wars theme page.

The ten Star Wars sets on LEGO.com’s last-chance list

These were the ten sets shown under the Star Wars filter on LEGO.com. The official LEGO price is a useful reference, but BricksDeal compares the live lowest price at Dutch retailers.

Set LEGO.com status on May 18, 2026 Best BricksDeal move
75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter Buyable at LEGO.com Buy if you want Captain Rex; otherwise wait for a price drop
75401 Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor Buyable at LEGO.com Price alert below recommended retail price
75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter Buyable at LEGO.com Buy only if you want the fan-service angle
75404 Acclamator-Class Assault Ship Buyable at LEGO.com Compare with retailer prices; unusually young for the label
75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack Buyable at LEGO.com Strong for multiples below recommended retail price
75373 Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack Buyable at LEGO.com Buy for the specific troopers, not for scarcity alone
75405 Home One Starcruiser Buyable at LEGO.com Display buyers: wait for a clear price drop
75347 TIE Bomber Backorder at LEGO.com Decide sooner if you genuinely want it
75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer Backorder at LEGO.com For 18+ display: actively track stock and price now
75349 Captain Rex Helmet Buyable at LEGO.com Strong for Helmet Collection collectors

Buy first: small sets with clear minifigure value

The small sets on the list are not automatically the most urgent, but they have a clear role. Battle packs and microfighters are often bought twice, gifted or used to get figures at a lower entry price.

75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack is the cleanest buy if you want clone troopers. 75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter is mainly a Captain Rex route, not the best display value. 75373 Ambush on Mandalore is stronger for Mandalorian fans than for buyers betting only on later scarcity.

Display sets: compare price, size and stock

The larger last-chance sets fall into two groups. 75347 TIE Bomber and 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer are older 2023 display sets. 75404 Acclamator-Class Assault Ship and 75405 Home One Starcruiser are newer, so the last-chance label is more of a check-now signal than a reason to buy blindly.

For display buyers, the order is simple: buy the set you actually want to display when stock is visibly shrinking. A ship that does not fit your shelf is not a good buy just because LEGO.com put it on a last-chance page. If unsure, set a price alert around 15-25 percent below recommended retail price.

Fan-specific sets: good, but not for everyone

75401 Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor, 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter and 75349 Captain Rex Helmet all have a clear fan angle. They work when you collect Ahsoka, Jedi Bob or the Helmet Collection. Without that specific reason, they are less universal than a classic ship or battle pack.

75349 Captain Rex Helmet is the strongest of the three as a display piece. Helmets stay compact, line up cleanly and have an obvious collection structure. 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter is more of a nod to long-time LEGO Star Wars fans than a general best buy. 75401 Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor is mainly for Clone Wars or Ahsoka viewers.

What does the LEGO.com last-chance label mean?

The label means LEGO.com places the set in a final sales phase. It does not tell you exactly when Dutch retailers will run out. Retailers may still have stock for weeks or months, sometimes below LEGO.com and sometimes above it once scarcity appears.

Use these checks:

  • has the set been on the market for more than two years?
  • is the current price below recommended retail price, or are you already paying scarcity?
  • is the number of retailers with stock shrinking?

75347 TIE Bomber and 75356 Executor score higher on urgency because they are 2023 sets and may appear as backorder on LEGO.com. 75404 Acclamator and 75405 Home One are younger; the main risk is paying too much too early.

When should you buy immediately?

Buy immediately when the set is high on your wishlist, LEGO.com is already on backorder and the lowest Dutch price is close to your target price. That matters most for display sets and Helmet Collection sets, where missing one can mean paying more later.

For small battle packs, immediate buying is less urgent while Dutch retailers still have broad stock. A price alert can work better, especially if you want multiple copies.

When should you wait?

Wait if you only want the set because it appears on a last-chance page. Also wait on younger 2024 or 2025 sets with plenty of retailer stock. The risk is not missing the set; the risk is buying too early and watching a better price drop appear later.

A practical buy rule:

Set type Reasonable move
Battle pack or microfighter Price alert below recommended retail price, unless it is needed as a gift
18+ display set from 2023 Buy sooner when price is good and stock is shrinking
2025 midscale ship Do not rush; compare live retailer prices first
Helmet Collection Buy when it reaches your target price, do not wait too long on stock

Sources and method

The official LEGO.com last-chance page was checked on May 18, 2026 with the Star Wars filter active. LEGO.com provided the last-chance status, product names, prices, age ranges and LEGO.com stock status. BricksDeal also compares live prices from Dutch retailers including Amazon.nl, Bol.com, LEGO.com, Wehkamp, Coolblue, Intertoys, MisterBricks and GoodBricks.

In this guide, the LEGO.com label is a buying signal, not a hard retirement date. Release year, current lowest price, recommended retail price and retailer availability determine the practical urgency. Affiliate links are clearly marked. We do not accept paid placement. This guide was editorially checked on May 18, 2026 by Frank Spin.

Practical BricksDeal route

  1. Open the Star Wars theme page and search for the set from the last-chance list.
  2. Compare current lowest price with recommended retail price.
  3. Check how many retailers still have stock.
  4. Set a price alert for younger sets and small battle packs.
  5. Buy sooner for older display sets, Helmet Collection and sets already on backorder at LEGO.com.
Small buys

Three sets where figures and price matter

Small last-chance sets are strongest when you want the figures or a quick gift; not because every small box becomes scarce later.

Display route

Four ships to compare side by side

The midscale and larger ships need the same check: does it fit, is the price below RRP and how many retailers still have stock?

Fan specific

Three sets you do not need to buy blindly

These sets are good when you want the character or sub-theme. Without that personal value, a price alert is often the better move.

Frequently asked questions

Which LEGO Star Wars sets are on LEGO.com's last-chance list?
On May 18, 2026, LEGO.com's official Star Wars last-chance page showed ten sets: 75391 Captain Rex Y-Wing Microfighter, 75401 Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor, 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter, 75404 Acclamator-Class Assault Ship, 75345 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack, 75373 Ambush on Mandalore Battle Pack, 75405 Home One Starcruiser, 75347 TIE Bomber, 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer and 75349 Captain Rex Helmet.
Does 'retiring soon' mean a LEGO Star Wars set is gone immediately?
No. The label means LEGO.com places the set in its final sales phase, but it is not an exact retirement date. For buying decisions, also check release year, Dutch retailer stock, current price versus recommended retail price and whether you genuinely want the set.
Which last-chance LEGO Star Wars set should I buy first?
The most urgent choices are 75347 TIE Bomber and 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer because they are 2023 sets and may show as backorder on LEGO.com. 75349 Captain Rex Helmet is interesting for Helmet Collection collectors. Small battle packs are mostly worth buying when price and minifigures line up.
Should I buy last-chance sets from LEGO.com or Dutch retailers?
LEGO.com provides the official last-chance signal, but Dutch retailers can be lower. Compare live BricksDeal prices first. If LEGO.com still has stock but a retailer is cheaper, the lowest reliable retailer is usually the better buy.
Which sets are better to track with a price alert?
75401 Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor, 75388 Jedi Bob's Starfighter, 75404 Acclamator-Class Assault Ship and 75405 Home One Starcruiser are relatively recent. If you do not need them immediately, a price alert below recommended retail price is smarter than buying on urgency alone.
