Absolutely brilliant
This was such a pleasure to build and is such a wonderful piece now it’s built. It requires concentration but otherwise the build experience is very good. I love the fact it is built so that there is a clever perspective when you look into the street.
All I can say is it’s just clever so a brilliant tribute to Sherlock Holmes. The lift is brilliant and I love the turning book shop, the lift and the pull out living room.
With this one it’s all about the details and if you get I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
It’s also really nice and solid so I haven’t felt worried picking it up to move it and it will now have pride of place in the house.

Lego
This is such a cool concept, with a lot of moving parts. Definitely for more advanced LEGO consumers. It’s cute and has a ton of pieces! The only downside I see is that a few of the pieces don’t fit as nicely together as they should (roof shingles etc). A lot of pieces for the price! Multiple bags of extras.

Awesome piece
As soon as I saw this on a preview video I knew I had to have it. It did not disappoint. Easy enough to build, and i love all of the details both little and big. I also really enjoy that you can see the "hidden" details that lego is known for, and and the explanations in the instruction manual for those who haven't read the books. The book nook idea is also really nice because I can fold it up, and it takes up so much less space. I can leave it out and enjoy it, instead of debating which ones stay out vs have to be deconstructed, rebagged, and put away do to my current space limits.

A fun bookish Lego build.
So I’ve always loved building Legos since my kids got into them. What I also love is anything with a book reference. So this Sherlock Holmes Book Nook Lego set jumped right out to me.
For starters this is a large set. With 1359 pieces, it kept me busy for a couple days. The instructions were all in one manual. It was very easy to follow, with clear instructions and pictures. Another thing I like is, I can go online and they have the instructions there also. The Lego pieces came well packaged and the box they were in was also quite sturdy.
I love how this set has movement, so it’s interactive. This helps make it more interesting and fun. I love that this set came with so many different LEGO characters, most only come with one or two.
These LEGO pieces are super easy to put together. There was the occasional piece that wouldn’t click to another piece, but with moving it around slightly I was able to get them to connect. The build feels pretty stable and I was easily able to transfer it from my kitchen table, to my bookshelf.
This set definitely was fun to build and would be great for any Lego lover. Definitely a great value for a quality product.
It looks great on my bookshelf! Can’t wait to see what other bookish inspired builds Lego comes out with.

Amazing Tribute and Victorian Setting
This set was fun to build and I appreciated the building techniques for the front facades. It gave me ideas to start working on Victorian era based MOCs. Had fun placing the minifigures in "scenes" for display and it looks great opened and closed. Definitely would recommend for someone interested in book nooks, Sherlock Holmes, and Victorian facades.

Perfect For Bookworms!
This set was such a delight to build! By far my favorite set I own. It’s full of tiny hints to Sherlock Holmes lore. If you’re a fan of the books or any tv/film adaptations of Conan Doyle’s stories, this is the set for you! I especially enjoyed the two hidden/interactive sections to the scene. This will be a crown jewel on my bookshelf! I hope Lego has more book nooks in store for us down the road!

Immersive and Fun Build!
My son spent 9 hours building this Sherlock Holmes LEGO booknook, and he enjoyed every second of it! The set feels very durable and was well packed, which made the building process much easier. I love how you can display it in two different ways, adding cool versatility to the design. It looks fantastic and has become a standout piece on his bookshelf. This set is perfect for any LEGO fan who loves a challenge and wants a unique display piece. Definitely a great addition to his collection!

AMAZING
Hands down... best lego I have ever built! This book nook was so fun to build! It took me several hours, over a 3 day period, after work to build! In true Lego fashion, instructions are always clear, there will always be extra pieces, and I love the orange tool to help with sticker placement and brick removal! I sure do hope they come out with other nooks like this, as I would collect them all! Thanks, Influenster, for this set, as I had a blast building it!

Great Set for Curious Young Builders
My son really liked this LEGO set. He is 11 years old and spent almost 4 or 5 hours building it with great interest. The set is beautiful, the pieces are high quality, and the Sherlock Holmes theme made it even more exciting. It’s a great set that keeps kids engaged for a long time.

Intrigued
I absolutely love this set and all the storytelling that goes along with it! Sherlock Holmes is a classic, and the idea of making a book nook is pure genius. This set had several small pieces making the process more interesting and fun to put together. Would absolutely love another!

Lego at its best!
As a huge Sherlock Holmes fan I had to have this for my Lego collection. The build itself was amazing and the accuracy of Sherlock Homes’s time period and mysteries makes this set an unforgettable experience. Whether or not you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, this needs to be a part of any Lego collector! One of my all time favorite Lego sets!

A little disappointing
I was a little disappointed in this build. First of all, it was too easy a build. Was hoping for a bit of a challenge. Having built book nooks before, I was surprised that it didn't have a "top" or a "back" to the build. It seems to have to be left "open" all the time otherwise you see that the back has no panels and everything is exposed. There should be some sort of a roof on top of it when it is closed as well. Lighting would be very beneficial as well when closed. I did however love the "easter egg". That was a nice touch and the mini figures were all great. However, for the amount of money spent, it felt like it was incomplete.

"To a great mind, nothing is little"
I am a massive Sherlock Holmes and Lego fan. When I seen this set announced, I knew that will be a great addition to my Arthur Conan Doyle book shelf. The built was really interesting, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The details and easter eggs are just fantastic and the minifigs are well executed and detailed. It is now displayed as a book nook next to my Sherlock Holmes books.

Fun build, great detail, cover panels a problem
As everyone says, this is a fantastic build and design. Great detail, especially fun for Sherlock fans. My only issue is that the book cover panels, especially the one with the profile, don’t stay fully attached (one or more corners keep popping off the frame). Makes a great display, it’s complex, like a modular, yet much smaller scale. I was able to assemble in 2 days.

Elementary
Absolutely amazing build, I'm a big fan of Lego and Sherlock Holmes so this was a must have. I built it within a day and had time to spare to admire all its details.
I was disappointed at one point. A black 1x4 plate was missing from the pack. I looked high and low and couldn't find it anywhere. Luckily enough I have other Lego sets with spare pieces and managed to find one and use it.
All and all a great experience, I love the intricacies of the build, the mechanisms that make doors appear and windows swivel.
By far one of my favourite builds

Puts the Other Book Nooks to Shame
Just all around great no matter what you look for in a LEGO set. Great minifig selection and piece count. Fun building techniques to fit tons of detail into a unique format. Several fun interactive elements to explore.
The Balrog set is a boring, empty shell compared to this. The Harry Potter looks awkward when closed and is severely overpriced. For any future book nooks, I hope LEGO takes inspiration from this set.
