Overall good set, but it has some major flaws
Although the SCA is a really good set and had been fun to build, but it is quite a flimsy set upon construction. The first and most major flaw is the fact that the stand on which it is displayed is not stable or balanced well. Comparing it to a really similar set - the Concorde, set 10318, the stand in the Concorde is integrated into the set, providing stable support and good balance, meanwhile the stand in the SCA is not integrated into the set, which means that the plane can easily fall off if the place where it is displayed is slightly shook. The set when displayed on the stand has a tendency to tip forward easily, which means that it is dangerous to display the SCA on a shelf. The set can also not be displayed on the stand with the landing gear down. The second flaw is the abundance of pieces that can easily fall off of the plane while moving it. Yet again comparing to the Concorde, the Concorde had a lot more of its major connections connected with bricks, while a lot of the SCA’s connections, most notably the tail and wings use clip pieces as connection points. The set also has a lot of pieces that tend to fall off easily, like the engines. It also has an ugly crack in the connection between the fuselage and wings, which is really visible and makes the set look worse.

Don't get it.
The nose does not look good. Details like some windows are missing. Even though these are problems I'd still get it however.
The build process is the problem. You start with paper bags which takes about twice as long to open cus you have to stick your face inside them to see if you forgot any parts. Already this makes the building process worse. Then we have the stickers, the reason I'm writing this review. Most of these things should be printed for the price. The see through stickers are a pain and one of them have my fingerprints on them that I can't get rid of. 18+ set with the pricetag to match yet I have to fix the stickers? Its more worth it to buy a retired set like the Space Shuttle Discovery than this thing.

Fun to build! Great to display! A+++
When this set first released, I knew I had to buy it. I’ve always loved Lego airplanes and rockets. This is a 2-for-1. The two ships have great detailing for their small size. The two ships look great separated or combined. There are a decent number of stickers that need to be applied. The ships are symmetrical so there is some repetition. You do have to move around pieces to combine or separate the ships. Overall, this set is definitely recommended to any aircraft lover.

Good proportions. Sturdy model. Odd 747 paint job.
I have read some other reviews stating that the proportions are off and the model is fragile. I respectfully disagree with both of those comments. What is sort of inaccurate (and why I rated it only four stars) is that 747 N905NA still had most of its American Airlines paint scheme throughout flight testing of the Shuttle Enterprise, so those two aircraft only appeared with the depicted paint schemes for transport of Enterprise after its test flights were completed, like when it was transported to its final exhibit location.

Shame about the Engines
Bought this after building Apollo Saturn V and Concorde. Very enjoyable build and a great model. Except for one thing...those engines. They truly are atrocious, I know LEGO is LEGO and we have to accept the complexities of some shapes and angles. But come on, they look like they have come out of the LEGO City parts bin. A simple cowling is all it needed just so the fan isn't right at the front. A truly awesome build let down by one trivial, yet monumental oversight.

Loved it
It is so cool, and evrything about it is great. The plane is nice and sturdy, plus the landing gear is absolutely awesome considering how compact the whole thing is. It is also a great value for how well designed it is. It also looks great on the stand. The space shuttle on top also looks awesome, its so cool how you can put the engine and wheels inside of the shuttle. If you are looking for a lego set for someone who likes planes this is a great option.

Very cool and detailed set
When I found out that this set was going to be released, I told myself that I definitely needed to add it to my Space Collection.
The day that this set was released I immediately ordered it because I was a VIP Member and got to order it days before the regular public got it. It came the very next day, awesome Customer service on this purchase. I only had one issue with this set. I had a few missing pieces, but I had extra pieces to fill in for the missing parts so no need to contact CS. Also it would have been nice for customers to be able to name the Shuttle Orbiter not just calling it the Enterprise. I got a label machine and renamed the Orbiter Discovery to match my larger Shuttle Orbiter that Lego released years ago. It looks really good.
In addition take your time building the rear landing gear assembly. It's very detailed and you want to make sure it works on the model when everything else comes together.
This is a great addition to any Space Collection that you have. Take your time and enjoy this build.

Good build with a retro feel
This it is an excellent, large build and looks great on display, the slight blockiness to the model gives it a retro feel; I read that it was inspired by another set that I actually owned in the 90s and I like that kind of nostalgia. The landing gear mechanisms and the way the spare shuttle parts are stowed are innovative.
Despite giving this 5/5, I have to say that it's probably not quite as polished a set as Concorde but it's still worth getting if you're into these bigger space/aerospace sets.
Lastly, and I've said this before on other reviews, I don't think any set above £100 should have the dreaded stickers. The effect is compounded here as the stickers are transparent, meaning a speck of dust or loose fibre from clothes can ruin the look of the model by getting caught under the sticker.
