I really enjoyed the build until it came time to put him together, one of the feet fell off and had to be rebuilt and his mouth came off too easily considering you are supposed to be able to remove both the tongue and the holder for his smoke. Because there is so many moving parts would only recommend this to someone fairly experienced with Lego builds. He looks great as a display piece but definitely won’t be playing with him.
Had this on back order , well worth the wait. Not a particularly complicated build or too fiddly so great for most ages , younger enthusiasts may need an adult. The final build is spectacular it’s such a fun build with some great little details and will make fab addition to the collection . For me I thought it a bit odd that you lose the tongue to attach the fish ? It really doesn’t need that. Using the parts you have . Swap the 4x1 pink tile on the tongue for the 2x1 stud in the centre it’s on the inside of the mouth that holds blue flame, then simply use the spare pink 1x1 for the sides you can then pop the fish and the tongue together 👍
One of my favourite smaller builds yet! I picked mine up from Walmart they just got them in after Xmas. When I saw it on back order on the site I picked it up as I knew they wouldn’t last long, so glad I did! He’s now my Center piece of my small Disney builds, his face is way too cute. Love the different options for his tongue, even comes with his own fish dinner! lol. Highly recommend for the Disney/lego lover in your life every home needs their own toothless dragon ❤️
I’m quite new to Lego, I’ve not built much so far bar the bonsai, infinity gauntlet and a 3in1 unicorn. This set I was so excited for and I love the fact his head and mouth move, his head tilts up and down and side to side, and his mouth you can open and close. He looks great when built, I had some issues popping his front legs on until I realised part of his back I’d attached upside down! There is always one part of the instructions I seem to misread, but I was delighted to get all 7 bags done in one Sunday afternoon/evening. I’ve ordered a display case for him to stack on top of my bonsai case, with a white base to show off his cute little claws.
This toothless is really really cute!!! The wings and its tail are really realistic.
I ordered this set online and received it quite quickly. Am disappointed that the box is squished as I do like to keep the boxes from my sets.
So as you can probably tell by the title, I absolutely love this set. I am an avid fan of the How to Train Your Dragon franchise and Lego sets so this was a must have for me. It is an absolutely adorable set, there are no stickers and the printed pieces look great, and it captures the energy of toothless amazingly. I personally only have a couple of drawbacks that don’t actually affect how much I love the hat. They just would’ve been nice additions. I do kind of wish that it was less of a chibi version of toothless and more of an animated movie accurate toothless but I still absolutely love it and think it’s adorable. Another drawback is during the building process. Some of the parts can come off, kind of easily mainly the eye and mouth areas because the pieces don’t get fully locked down until the mouth is attached to the rest of the head, and the pupils themselves are still easy to pop off because they are not the strongest connection being only two studs on one side holding on the entire brick but for the most part, it is a very sturdy build, especially after it has been fully built. The last thing that I wish was different is the articulation. His tongue, head, ears, wings, and back legs all move at least a little but I would’ve loved to see some articulation in the tail and more articulation in the feet just for that added possibility. I hope that there’s a chance of getting more mini figure scale dragons in the future maybe bundle of the main five that has the same articulation styling of the dragons in the Lego elves and Ninjago series because those are very possible. Overall, I think this is a great set with great value and will make an amazing addition to my shelf, decorations, and overall Lego collection amazing job Lego. I hope to see more from this franchise.
I do a lot of very complex Lego builds, but I am also a great fan of HTTYD, so I thought this would be a great break from my normal builds. I was right - this build was just challenging enough to keep my attention but also simple enough to complete in a couple sittings. The instructions were superbly clear and the result was far more than I expected - my whole family loves my Toothless!
This is the first set I bought for me. The directions were easy to follow and I was successful in assembling the set. It is cute and is on my shelf. I have bought MANY sets but never for me. Love the Train Your Dragon theme!
I bought this as my daughter is obsessed with toothless and this product did not disappoint. She loved that you could interchange the mouth pieces. This will go on a shelf with the rest of her toothless items! Next, we'd like to see lightfury!
Absolutely loved this Lego. Instructions were easy to understand and want more of the how to train a dragon collection.
I am very much in to dragon's. So, I was excited to see this set come out. Some small parts were a little difficult (like the claws) due to the size of my fingers. He came together, and looks great!

Seeing Toothless come to life before my eyes is brilliant. The head moves. You can take the smoke out from his mouth and put the fish inside instead. Recommend to anyone who is a fan of lego
I have been waiting for this Lego set for my 18 year old son, who I a HUGE Toothless fan. It is worth every penny and it is even cuter in person. It is so nice, that we bought a case to display it. Thank you Lego! Highly recommend
I absolutely in love of him. I'm impressed to how he turned when I finished building him up with all the details on him with various personalities as I play with him and will make a fantastic model in my room.

I love the way the designers were able to capture Toothless’ personality. I absolutely love this build and the way it looks specially on my desk. But I cannot stress enough how sad it is that we didn’t get a Hiccup minifigure! The movies are about their bond!
