Nightmare build
I love this set, it looks phenomenal and the mechanism is so cool! But as it was going so well I was missing a piece in Steve’s car and it cost £9 just to order one piece with all the delivery fees and that, then it takes 1 whole week just to arrive, and then I show my friend the mechanism and it breaks, all of it, I thought it was really stable, then I get mad and my friends can hear me, it’s so embarrassing, luckily lots of the big bits were already built but even their own pieces go missing while rebuilding, now after I’ve found the mechanism really fun and use it a lot, now I’m scared to even touch it because of how unstable it is. If you buy this for some unknown reason, don’t over use the mechanism!

Amazing
I recommend this set for people who love Lego and stranger things obviously but It isn’t very good to open and stuff because it catches quite a but and a few bits have broken off (I have it fixed and on display now). It is overall an amazing set and was surprisingly easy to build. I only started Lego in July and this took me around six hours to finish! Stranger things is my favourite tv show and Lego is my favourite hobby and I really enjoyed the process.

Enjoyable build
My son and I had a blast building the Creel House. The details and play function are incredible. The house is smaller than you would think, but this does help with display. Would’ve liked to see this enclosed, but understand why it’s not. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointed
I too received a mangled box due to the shipper and poor packaging by Lego. Although the Creel House was slightly damaged, the WSQK Radio Station box was crushed so bad that each end opened up and pieces were missing due to the large gap in the shipping box. The other freebie wasn't even in the box as that must have fallen out somewhere in the route never reaching me. Customer service is a joke and I've yet to receive an answer if I'm getting the missing freebie, the missing parts and stickers from WSQK set, or even an acknowledgement that they have cut down on quality control and shipping just to make a buck. So, I was extremely disappointed before I even started to build this and, maybe if I had a better response from them, or any for that matter, I'd have liked this a little better. But not even having to open the box as that was done for me by the shipping company, I just felt this was a waste of money. I could have waited until one of the major stores had it and bought the same thing with less damage there.

Too long to fix their mistake
I have given Lego thousands of dollars over the years. I have never had so much as a hiccup, I have never complained, and I have always been satisfied. However, I have since learned that when they do make a mistake, they will take their sweet time fixing it. I was beyond excited for this set. I was up on New years eve at midnight and ordered it the second it dropped. It came promptly. O was still excited. I was halfway through the build when I got to bag 11 and realized half the pieces required in that bag were missing and replaced with pieces not needed for that build. I called Lego customer service and told them of the issue and they said they would send a new bag out for me. GREAT. Only it has not been delivered and it has been 3 weeks. After a week it had not shipped, so I called again and they said it has shipped. I waited two more weeks for tracking. It is 3 weeks later and I don't even have a tracking number! I have been staring at a half-complete build for 3 weeks with no end in sight. This situation has completely ruined the building experience for me which is my favorite part of Lego. I will seriously be considering giving Lego my money after this situation.

Building the roof is a bit of a pain, there is one particular piece that keeps falling off the wall when opening and closing the house. But otherwise, very good set, love the details and the mini figs

My FAVORITE set!!!
This set is the newest to mine and my boyfriend's collection and we could not be happier. The build was so fun. When we build together, one of us will read where pieces go while the other one actually puts the pieces together and this set was easy enough to do that. We watched through S4 and S5 building this as well and only messed up once and had to backtrack. Definitely was not the fault of the set though! I will say, there was a grey 1×2 missing for Steve's car and we had to use 2 white 1×1's to do the step. You can see it under the grill on Steve's car but I am not docking the rating because Lego shipped a piece out right away. I am super duper happy with this set. The white over the dark blue and brown is such a nice sleek contrast, I love it! So happy I got the GWP too. Steve's hair on the minifig is a little off from the TV show but it's not a huge deal. You can definitely still tell it's him. 100% recommend if you can get your hands on it!! We had to get to our Lego store at 6 am and wait until it opened at 10 am to get this set, so my advice, call your nearest Lego store and ask when their next shipment is and GO EARLY!!!! Unique Build
The Creel House is a really impressive and creative build, especially the mechanics. Those truly stand out and are unlike anything I’ve built before. LEGO did a great job capturing the eerie Stranger Things vibe and the overall display is striking. That said the build does get a bit repetitive as you move from room to room, which can slow things down at times. Also, a few of the minifigures aren’t immediately recognizable without looking them up. Overall, though, it’s a unique and memorable set that Stranger Things fans will really appreciate, especially for the clever engineering behind it.

Buying Creel House is easier than you think!
I get it’s frustrating logging on over and over to buy this set and it’s not available and you have no idea when it will be again.
This weekend I visited the local Lego store at the mall and asked if they get them in. They said.. yes, fairly often but they sell super quick. I was told.. just call up at 10 am (Monday through Friday) when we open and ask if we got a shipment. The first morning available I called and they had a few. I simply had to give my first name and last initial and they will hold it for the day. I picked it up just before closing last night. I called about an hour before to let them know I was coming and they had it ready. It was much easier than I thought to secure this! I haven’t even opened it yet. I purchased this at the Christiana Mall store in Delaware. Good luck 🍀

No free gift?
After reading the other reviews I am pleased that we were able to purchase the creel house as a Lego insider. Highly disappointed though that the wsq radio station never arrived even though it was on my receipt. No response from the Lego website

Amazing set for stranger things fans

Booklet pages
LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE this Lego! The only thing I am upset about is manufacturing on the booklet. I had multiple pages in my booklet ripped or the bottom part of the page is folded up and indented into the seam and if I try to fix it I’ll rip the page :( I love stranger things and I am upset my booklet is a bit ruined.

Really amazing set
Really amazing set pretty much sums it up. While I did find parts of the build a little fiddly (I didn’t see/follow step 593, and as such had some movement issues & had to deconstruct a bit) BUT the finished product is awesome & the moving parts / transformation is brilliant. If you like lego or stranger things, would 100% recommend this set.

Inner box of Shipment Damaged
I got the Creel House and the WSQK radio station, which shipped in the same overall outer box. The Creel house was within another cardboard box which was just big enough for the set to fit inside. When I opened the outer box (which was in good condition), I saw the entire bottom of the inner box containing the Creel House was smashed in and when I got the Creel House set out, it was also all smashed in. Clearly it was all smashed in and THEN put in the outer box, so they knowingly shipped it that way. I reached out to customer service after I got it last week, but have not received a response. Very disappointing considering this isn't a cheap set.

Great set for fans
I knew this set was going to be in high demand. My son was so excited about the release. I was able to get online right when it released and we bought one set. It came a week later. He built it in 3 exhausting days. It’s awesome. So fun and creative for the ST fans we are. He wants to get some lights to highlight the windows and rooms. The way it slides to open is amazing. LEGO did a great job. Please release the Upside down again. We’d love to have that in our collection.

Great Build but no GWP
I absolutely loved this build. The way they designed the house to “break” apart was unique! Great set overall. But I was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to get the GWP WSQK Radio Station. Instead, I got the Year of the Horse which I couldn’t care less for. I just wish Lego will reconsider redistributing the Radio Station and possibly sell it in the stores and online. I really wanted to get that set. Hopefully they’ll see many people have been complaining about that and realize they should redistribute them. But the Creel House was a great build and I’m very happy with it!

A perfect gift for Stranger Things fans
This set is an absolute dream for any Stranger Things fan. I actually received it as a gift from my wife, and it instantly became one of my favorite LEGO builds ever.
The amount of interior detail is incredible. Every room is packed with small elements that make the house feel alive and immersive. You can really tell how much thought went into the design. It’s not just a display piece, it’s a full experience while building.
The build process itself was extremely fun and engaging. I ended up finishing it in one evening because I just couldn’t stop. There’s always something new to discover, and the techniques used are very satisfying.
All the built-in mechanisms are smartly designed and work perfectly, which makes the set even more impressive. Nothing feels random or unfinished — everything has a purpose.
If you’re a Stranger Things fan or looking for a truly special gift for one, this set is 100% worth it. It looks amazing on display and brings back so many memories from the show.

Fantastic set, BUT…
I think this set is absolutely fantastic, the build is ingenious and it looks amazing on display, so yes I recommend it if you’re a fan of the show.
However… I’d say approx 75% of all the standard bricks were all bashed in on every single corner, there were even some bricks I couldn’t completely snap together as the corners were so bad.
I messaged customer service on 2nd of January but still not heard back yet (I’ve never contacted Lego before so don’t know if this is a usual amount of time).
Personally it’s taken the shine of what is a peak set, bit disappointed for the price.
That aside, I do love the set.
