Commissioned by King Frederick William II of Prussia as a symbol of peace, the Brandenburg Gate has been one of Berlin's most important monuments for over 200 years – both as an architectural landmark and a historic symbol. The grandest of a series of 18 gates encircling the city, the Brandenburg Gate was constructed between 1788–1791 from the Propylaea-inspired designs of architect Carl Gotthard Langhans. This sandstone gate consists of twelve Doric columns that combine to form five passageways, topped by the imposing Johann Gottfried Schadow statue, Quadriga – a four-horse chariot ridden by Victoria, the Roman Goddess of victory. This LEGO® Landmark series interpretation of the Brandenburg Gate was designed by US architect Adam Reed Tucker in collaboration with the LEGO design team.

Not very appealing.
It falls into the same category as the Louvre and the Trevi Fountain, but it doesn't appeal to me nearly as much.
Nice.
Symbolically, it looks similar from a distance, but the size is a bit disappointing. It's quite simple to assemble with the included instructions.

Nice Structure. Easy to build. I just relaxed and took my time, had fun, and it took me 3 hours or so.
Great Brandenburg Gate!
Continuing with my collection of Lego Architecture Models, this is model number 7 in my growing numbers of buildings! Brandenburg Gate was easier than some of the previous models, however, clever use of many tiny pieces were hard on the ageing fingers! Loved the way it went together, taking just under an hour in between 'slurps' of strong coffee! As usual, Lego have produced a stunning booklet on the history of the Brandenburg gate as well as comprehensive build instructions. All in the usual glossy box. Have to say, Lego and their designers come up with yet another fantastic product. Absolutely loving the Architecture range! Roll on to my next project, The Burj Khalifa.

I enjoyed building this but it's not as fun as other sets, I had to have this as I adore Berlin and the gate holds a particular fond memory for me. I would recommend it to someone like myself who appreciates what it is, not really for younger lego fans as the building process wasn't too exciting.. but i love the end product! x
Marvellous !!! Architectural Model
Pros: 1 - This Replica of the BradenBurg Gate is simply marvellous, Comes second best after the Lego Falling waters set. 2 - The green roof bricks are unique and the color brings out the best detail of the actual gate. Cons: 1 - I just wish TLC would have created a custom chariot sculpture for the Top of the Gate, that would be the perfect detail to compliment this creation. 2 - The green roof tiles seem staggered when seen closely inserting another filler plate below gives a better visual outlook
