Beautiful and relaxing set
This was my first big Lego build and it was so fun and relaxing. I have severe arthritis so I was limited to building once a week for a few hours at a time, but even with that I still managed to complete within about 12 hours. The brick separator is an absolute must have when dealing with hands that no longer work the way they should! The only down side was some difficulty getting the piece snapped securely into the frame, but again that had more to do with my lack of hand strength and not the actual set itself. I've already got Sunflowers out and ready to take that one on next! I can't wait until my son can come hang this on my office wall!

Beautiful stars in the night.
This was my longest LEGO project so far, taking about 12 hours in total, and I had a lot of fun. I also had to rebuild it a few times because the blue pieces didn't always fit in the right places. A good desk lamp is really necessary! I only stopped when it got too dark to build, and the time flew by. The relief effect is very nice, and I did a good job.

Missing Pieces
Bag one had missing pieces and I had to look in the other bags to replace it. Bag 2 was missing a green corner piece (my sister didn’t tell me till after she finished bag 2). Bag 4 was asking for some dark blue and super light blue circle pieces but upon opening that bag there were no dark blue circles or the light blue ones at all. Only the regular blue circles (which were needed for a different page). I was super excited for this Lego set as it’s my favorite artist, super disappointed.

Earned some serious "Dad Points" with this one
My 6 year-old daughter gave this gift to her Mother on Mothers Day (May 12th). They finished it today. My wife told me today it was the best gift she can ever remember receiving. Since receiving this gift over 6 weeks ago, every night for 45 minute after dinner my Wife and Daughter tackled this epic "Starry Night" project together. This one on one time with her Daughter was so precious to my Wife.

OBSESSED
This is by far my favourite Lego set I have built. However, this is the first set I've bought that was missing quite a few pieces. I was short some blue pieces for the painting, as well as a black piece for my frame. The missing frame piece ended up being covered so wasn't a huge deal, and had to use my additional blue pieces in a different color which no one will notice, but it caused me panic to make sure I had enough extra pieces to complete the blue wall. Overall buikd time was just shy of 9 hours and the piece is stunning. Can't wait to hang it up on the wall.

Turned mine into a functioning clock
Added two clock movements (One for the hour and one for the minute). I added bricks to the back of the frame to hide the movements and moved the wall-hanging bracket down to accommodate the clock movements. Just a little speck of paint on the two "stars" used for the hour and the minute.

Elegant!
I'm so happy I found this set! Absolutely beautiful! I love how they captured van Gogh's work, brush strokes, and the 3D effect! And the Vincent minifigure with his painting is perfect! I would love to see another work of his captured in Lego!

Wonderful
This is a super beautiful model. Truly amazing. Highly recommended. You won't be able to build this in 2 hours, no, no, you should plan on spending a good 8 hours without breaks. I started building in the afternoon and before I knew it, it was getting dark. If you want to build this, make sure you have nothing else to do or that you have a cat that won't keep running around with the pieces.

Fun build , beautiful & excellent value.
I love this set. Lots of concentration required, particularly the back piece. Get one line wrong and you’ll have to break it down - part of the fun though? It is stunning and is by far the most commented upon set that I own. I have mine broken down into the art and my minifigure separately. I love that it includes a minifigure, this genre of set doesn’t normally, so another bonus. It really is a fun build to watch coming together. Well done LEGO!

Fantastic! A brand new LEGO set for 50 euros less.
The box arrived neatly in bubble wrap. The box had some superficial damage (think of some faded printing), but otherwise looked good. When I opened the box, I was surprised, everything looked brand new! LEGO in original bags, booklets in original cardboard. If you don't need a super-clean box, I highly recommend this! With a super nice discount, you'll have a beautiful set in your living room :)

Starry Night
Excellent product. This is my wife's favorite painting, in the completed form it is a gift for her. More itty bitty pieces than I care for but at this level of difficulty that is to be expected. Easily the most difficult build I have ever attempted.

Amazing Set
Never build a 3D Lego set before so this was an exciting first time build! The colors are amazing and really pop, the blue swirls against the yellow. The background was tough to build as it was a bit difficult to tell the difference between the different shades of blue next to each other. The 3D part was mainly at the bottom of the build. It was pretty cool that it came with the frame and i was able to mount it on the wall. Unfortunately unable to play with it as it's for display. I actually bought two of these sets, one for myself and one for my sister. She enjoyed it as much as I did

Super detailed
I actually wanted to order it on the LEGO website, which was not possible with Ideal. I'm very happy that they had it here on Bol. It's really a very nice building set, super detailed and very fun to build.

For lovers of art
I'm a big fan of the works of Van Gogh, so this was an obvious pick-up for me. The overall set is beautiful and intricately designed. It makes for a great display piece and would look excellent when hung on a wall.
My only gripe while building was the "background" for the picture, made up of hundreds of 1x4 plates. The plates are all close to each other in color, and the directions were somewhat difficult to follow what color plate went where. On page 96 in particular, for step 92, I think they even use the wrong shade of blue for one of the steps. Compare the photo of step 92 with that of step 88, which shows the four shades of blue that are used.
Outside of that, the set was a blast to build and would love more sets themed around famous artists/paintings in the future.

Some pieces were not bagged
I was so excited to finally receive The Starry Night. But, there was a bulge in the box upon opening the package. When I opened the box, I saw two pieces (# 302726) were not bagged. These two pieces were bent and the cause of the bulging box. Aside from being bent, they had white creases on the back and front. I didn’t want to straighten them as this will cause more damage. Why were these two pieces not bagged? Disappointed that I will have to wait again to get the replacement parts to start building.

Love this set
I adore this set, and I'm really hoping that Lego brings out more art works in the future.
The build was quite simple and my 6 year old even helped for a lot of it, so the instructions were easy to follow.
I did get one part that was a different colour to the instructions however since you don't really notice it I didn't report it to Lego.

The set that got me back
Thought I was an adult, but nope, still a 30 yo kid!
I haven’t been up to speed with Lego since a while ago, and stumbled on this set just prior to its release.
The renderings were beautiful, and the completed set is no less so!
The back panel was the most tedious part, but still fun to do (may be slightly repetitive for some).
The 3D part is mostly on the lower side of the set, so if you’re using the sturdy back mount to put it up on a wall, it will look better placed on or below eye-level :)

Amazing build experience
In a household full of Lego - Mars Mission, Star Wars and NASA, it was about time I found a set of my own after over 20 years of 'support staff' to my son. As a crafts tutor, the initial appeal was Starry Night interpreted in Lego, brilliant idea legotruman! Building this set is pure joy due to the layering, the textures and attention to detail. My inner mixed media artist has fallen in love with the process, the purposeful placement of coloured bricks only to have them covered up, just as an artist does when creating. I may have to buy a second set to create a new mixed media class integrating Lego, a great way to include some art history as well. Unlike a Saturn V, I want to take this apart just to have the experience of putting it together again! I hope this is but a first of many collaborations with MoMa, may I suggest a Klimt set next?
