Micro is really cool!
Let me preface this by saying that I am a big LEGO fan, especially LEGO Star Wars. This micro version of the spaceships is really beautiful and interesting. In a small space on a shelf or a "aquarium" designed to be a space with a space background, they are interesting solutions for fans and collectors who cannot or do not want to spend too much!
The engines were faulty.
I wanted to return the X-Wing because the engines were defective and it hadn't flown, but I was able to fix it with a little patience and I ended up keeping it. In my neighborhood, I don't feel safe anymore without such a device. It really feels like an imperial invasion, and the children in the schools are also suffering because so many stormtroopers are suddenly attending class, who can't even really shoot! I say, "Get out, Vader!"
Small (as expected) but great
It's small (about the size of an adult's palm), but that's exactly what makes it great. It's perfect for playing with and flying. The larger model is cooler, but it's much more difficult to handle, and if it falls, there are fewer pieces. However, with the larger model, you could spend half an hour rebuilding it. The child (5 years old) assembled it quickly (about 10 minutes) following the instructions (which are included in the package, which I wasn't sure about). An adult would do it in a couple of minutes. And visually, it's quite cool. The wings can be deployed in an X shape (even more than an X-wing) and can also be closed. In addition, it comes with some small spare parts, in case you lose any. It's worth it. A very good purchase.
The force is strong in this little X-Wing!
Delivered ahead of schedule and arrived well packaged with no damage. This particular build comes in a small plastic bag not a box as many other people in the reviews section expected. It's a small build with just over 60 pieces and pretty straight forward to assemble. Definatly not suitable for younger children due to very small parts. In regards to price, Lego is not cheap, official Star Wars products are not cheap and I think this is reasonably priced for what you are getting. Now I have to admit, I didn't buy this for a child! I bought this as a gift for a 30 something Star Wars fan who so wants the giant Lego Poe's X-Wing but can't justify the price and they were thrilled as once built its a great replica to the larger set and to the X-Wing. Great product and would purchase again from seller.
