Really a very fun and good set. It is fun to build, but also to admire.
It contains many small elements, so it is probably more suitable for 18+. It is not a difficult set. However, it does require a lot of patience.
Because you are working with colors, it is clear and easy to do. Everything is firmly attached, feels sturdy and is quite heavy. I haven't hung it myself, but placed it on a shelf. It looks very nice.
A recommendation if you like LEGO and Japan. Because there are all sorts of things in it that are familiar.

What a great building set! It's definitely a 18+ set, you can tell from the instruction booklet. There are so many steps, and sometimes it's difficult to see where you need to place a piece. But it's definitely doable if you take your time.
Lego Goes to Japan!
Who doesn't love LEGO?! This living painting is amazing. The different color schemes are subtle but make the image very vibrant. Sturdy bricks, as you would expect from LEGO. The painting is about 30/40 by 30/40. It's not too heavy, but you really feel like you're holding something. A fantastic gift to receive and try out. Thank you!

Superb 3D effects!
Great idea to make the overflowing waterfall adjustable so that you don't have to hang it on a wall to display it.
And finally a box big enough to fit the completed build inside (even though it could still be half as deep!)

I'm still working on it, but so far it's been really fun to put together! And I think the final result will be really impressive. The icing on the cake was, of course, the discounted price on Amazon.

I loved this set so much! I had to buy it through the Harrods website as it has been out of stock since release. There is quite a lot of repetitive parts, like the background and flowers, which I found a little monotonous. Pretty easy to build and is a work of art! It’s also stand on its own, great for those who don’t want to go to the lengths of hanging it on a wall. I was missing 2 small pieces unfortunately and wasn’t able to receive them upon request.

Amazing Japanese Landscape
I was skeptical about this set seeing the reviews and images, I thought the scene was a bit blurred and it was hard to make out what it was. However on building this my view has completely changed.
It is a fun build, starting off with the black frame and then building the scene. I like the details of the black frame which give it an authentic look.
The scene does look amazing from a distance and as it is 3d it pops out from the frame. It is easy to make out Mount Fuji, the waterfalls, mountains and greenery and lightens up a plain wall.
Overall a fun build that looks amazing once built.

I have absolutely loved building this art piece. It is beautiful, the photos really don’t do it justice. The colours are stunning and the Lego build techniques are really fun. Please produce more art sets like this Lego. Please ignore the negative reviews. This is my favourite Lego build and art set. Great price, well worth the money. I can’t wait to display this on my wall.

I have built the cherry blossom tree, maple tree, tranquil garden, and the Himeji castle; I love Japanese culture. This set is right behind the Tranquil garden for me. Very pretty piece and glad to have it in my collection. The 1 star reviews make no sense to me, don't believe the hate!
