Retailer reviews
Summarized retailer review data when available.
Excellent!
The product arrived smoothly and quickly. Although the box was a bit worn, it didn't cause any problems. My son liked building it and it's now his favorite toy. It's been great for a while :)
It's fun to build, but playing with it is even more fun. My son is only 4.5 years old, but he loves it!
My grandson is very happy with it, thanks to Santa.
Great for children's first introduction to LEGO Technic. Not too complicated to assemble (some supervision is needed to avoid frustration if a single component is assembled incorrectly), and the result is excellent. The assembled car is robust, aggressive, and fast thanks to the spring mechanism. When purchased together with the "companion" product, it also allows for the creation of an even more beautiful model, while the individual models are very fun for head-to-head battles in which the floating component jumps in the air.
Given the price of some other lego kits, this is really good value for money. My 6-year old needed some help with some fiddlier bits, but really enjoyed it.Instructions are kid friendly, and even name some of the parts. Nice to give my kid same engineering inspiration.
It's fun to build and also to play with. Entire courses can be completed with it. Well-made and fits together perfectly.
➡️ DELIVERY Very good packaging, arrived intact, box undamaged. The box was purchased alone.➡️ PRESENTATION Refer to the small LEGO GUIDE below if you would like more information and some tips on how to buy cheaper. Bought this set at an interesting price thanks to Amazon. This Lego is part of the TECHNIC range, which is particularly popular with boys (but this is not an exact science!). In fact, it can be bought separately or in combination with another model from the range. The two together (ALL FIRE and ALL FLAME) form a great model with lots of details. Although these are models from 2018, I took advantage of a promotion to buy the two ALL FIRE and ALL FLAME sets successively.➡️ POSITIVE POINTS+ Another concept that is more dynamic: you can play with it after assembly, which adds the ACTION element that is missing from other Lego sets. + Very balanced model, I had a lot of fun building and making it work. + Thanks to its friction mechanism, you can roll this fantastic vehicle after assembly and create "frontal collisions" with its other friend. + Easy assembly suitable for children from 7 years old (this is not a science either!).➡️ NEGATIVE POINTS-Still the SAME negative point for me every time (if you follow me, you start to know): I DON'T UNDERSTAND why LEGO always makes boxes that are SUPERB BUT that are often thrown away after opening because they are torn and often not reusable. It's not more expensive to manufacture boxes that can be opened and closed securely, which allows sets to be kept safe (in zip bags, then in the reusable box)? Is that not more intelligent, Mr. LEGO? It will always be my negative point, and I will continue until LEGO finally makes us boxes that are SUPERB BUT reusable! I hope that all LEGO users will agree with me. (Support me guys...!!! and girls too of course!!).➡️ CONCLUSION A good Lego Technic set from 2018, very aesthetic once assembled (you don't want to disassemble it) and of GOOD SIZE (I was surprised, guys!). You can acquire it alone or complete it with its other friend to have great races. I love it.➡️ FINAL THOUGHT I always value products/companies that deserve it. On the other hand, I will criticize and denounce objectively and with arguments, products that have not satisfied me. All good things deserve to be shared honestly with the community. All bad deals or non-compliant products deserve even more to be signaled. That is what comments and reviews are for. My honesty and objectivity are not for sale. I hope this COMMENT has been USEFUL. If it has, take just half a second to click on YES / USEFUL below, you have just given me a "virtual coffee" with a smile. This doesn't cost me anything except a great satisfaction and a huge encouragement to write more comments. Thank you.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------💗 SMALL GUIDE FOR LEGO BUYER A small guide (without pretension) that I wrote to answer some questions that often come up to help "uninitiated" or "future enthusiasts" find a gift for themselves or for loved ones... and to give you some TIPS to buy cheaper and avoid inflated prices. With LEGO, you can't go wrong, offering a LEGO set to a fan or future fan is always a useful gift (development of creativity) and appreciated (LEGO is always liked).⭐️ SOME TIPS & TRICKS that are useful to know💡 Each year Lego releases several new models with fixed prices by Lego (catalog prices). Models from previous years are still available on the market with sometimes very interesting promotions (Amazon!). By waiting for flash sales, Black Friday, end-of-year promotions, etc., you can get very good deals and acquisitions. You just need to be a little patient. And, if there is no absolute need (specific list of gifts), it is best to not rush to buy the new ranges and to focus on the sets that came out the previous year or even the year before. A set that is just released displays the maximum price, its price can be halved (50% off) one or two years after.💡 Know that Lego does not permanently commercialize every model/set released. Lego releases a certain number of examples for each set, and in general, 2 or 3 years after, or once the stock is sold out, the set is removed from the official Lego catalog. Once the old models are no longer commercially available by Lego (generally 2 or 3 years after, or once the stock is sold out), their prices start to become completely crazy, playground for speculators who try to make a profit by buying in bulk and storing them, and they can take advantage of the discontinuation of these models by Lego to inflate prices (2x to 10x 20x). I denounce this practice and unless you are a crazy collector looking for this specific model and willing to pay a fortune... it is more normal to turn to many promotions or normal Amazon sales to choose the set to buy. Don't fall into the traps of these speculators.💡 Know that if you really want, you can find ALL the LEGO assembly manuals (sets present or long gone) for FREE on the LEGO.com website💡 You can also on the same Lego site, fill out a form if ever a set that you have bought has missing parts (indeed, annoying if you want to finish assembling the model) This happens very rarely because Lego has a rigorous control process, but it can happen. Lego will send you the missing parts to your address. This is top quality service.💡 For all these reasons, I continue to buy LEGO very regularly, for me, for gifts, and I trust Lego for the quality of their products and the seriousness of their service. I trust Amazon for the delivery of my LEGO and for very interesting promotional prices.⭐️ What LEGO? There are several types of LEGO: - Duplo very large bricks for toddlers (easy to manipulate) - LEGO classic (the most common bricks, medium size), the first LEGO box that most children receive, to start playing and building many models. We used to build houses, cars with, but the models were coarse, sometimes a bit childish, but there were no limits to invention and creativity. The box often contains a fairly wide variety of bricks and instructions to guide the child to assemble several models - More specialized LEGO sets by theme: Star Wars, Friends, City, Batman, Ninjago, Architecture, Minecraft etc... with smaller bricks and more varied shapes, reproducing models better (house, cars, Star Wars etc...) - And finally, LEGO Technic, a bit like Meccano, with special parts reproducing the mechanical part and sometimes the motorization. All LEGOs are compatible with each other, you can combine them endlessly. The interest of LEGOs goes beyond assembling the models included in the instruction booklet. The child (or adult) starts to invent other models based on his imagination or trying to reproduce things in real life. Each family of LEGOs has different types of parts, even if there are many common parts. There are more "boys" themes (Star Wars, Speed Champions, Ninjago, Super Heroes, City, Technic) and more "girls" themes (Friends, Elves, Unikitty). The classic and Creator are more "mixed". But, it all depends on the individual, because there are boys who play with "Friends" and girls who play with "Technic". You start by offering a classic LEGO set, then a specialized set on a theme (Star Wars, Friends, Ninjago etc...) Each theme adds additional parts that, when combined with the base parts, expand the collection, the number and variety of parts, and therefore allow the child to create more and more models with more varied parts. This is how a collection is created and a passion develops. THANK YOU LEGO AND THANK YOU AMAZON I hope this SMALL PRACTICAL GUIDE has been USEFUL. It's fun to put together. If you buy two cars from this series, you can combine the two boxes to make a larger car. The instructions for doing this are also included in the box. When you pull the car backward, it will move on its own.
Great, built by our 8-year-old son, a LEGO car with a pull-back function. Very fun with the included garage.
Super beautiful, sturdy and durable toy. This car doesn't fall apart and can be played with for hours. It is also perfectly suitable for a 7-year-old to build. It's great that you can combine it with another set/car and create a new car!
