LEGO Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons 71722

When unpacking the box, it's already a party. Ten small packages that you can build one by one. And that's nice, because it takes a while. My (10 and 6 year old) children and I spent a good five hours building it. That's why it's very nice that you can do the packages one at a time. Once assembled, it's a fun construction. I personally miss the baseplate underneath. In my experience, there was always a baseplate under these types of castles when the grass was green and the sky was blue. This makes it a bit more stable, especially if you want to pick it up and put it down. But it's a solid piece of LEGO and doesn't fall apart easily. The instruction booklets are complete and clearly outline the small, step-by-step building steps. There are also a number of spare parts for the small pieces that you tend to lose (and that are not found in other packages). What I really like about this set is that it's also a game. Once assembled, your role as a parent is often over, but with a game you can still play along from time to time. We came up with our own rules, because the included sheet leaves a lot to the imagination. There is also only an English instruction manual available online. Perhaps this will also be available in Dutch in the future. What I find very funny are all the moving parts. They are really neatly integrated and work well. Just be careful how you adjust the wheels so that everything runs smoothly. With a turn, you can immediately make several parts rotate, such as tiles, a cage and some knives over a bridge. The quality is simply good from the package. It is very complete with a little army of figures and is certainly very cool if you buy it as your first package. You are essentially immediately provided with hours of play and countless possibilities to create scenes. And if you also want to join in as a parent, you can use the set as a board game. Great! Here's a comment from my son: Lot (10 years old) When I opened the box, I knew it would be great. My dad and I started with bag 1, I already found it fun, meanwhile we were already far. I went to do bag 7 myself, my dad would do 8, and I found it so fun that I also did bags 9 and 10 myself. You do need patience and time for this. Because my dad and I spent 5 hours on it, but I have more patience than I thought. And I really like that there are all sorts of things that move and more, the black sword and the white find me and my brother also super cool. And we have played with it a lot with all the LEGO figures. I think it's super!!!
