This is a great set and comes with solid mini figures good Building technisches and a great design.its just that one of the 1x10 technical pieces from either bag 14 or 15 was broken, luckily I was able to find one from my lego collection. Great set overall!
I love the look of the set but mine was missing 4 minifigs and a pretty big list of parts. I've ordered many lego sets and never had this issue. This was crazy considering how much I paid for the set. It looks great next to my ninjago city gardens even in it's unfinished state
When I bought Rivendell I thought that was the best of the best, but this blew Rivendell out of the water. So many easter eggs and features packed on to two baseplates. Im so happy I learned Ninjargon and am able to translate the signs. It made the building experience better trying to decode the stickers. Highly recommend we need more like this.

It’s a great set, I would say it’s good for the price but it’s just not but as a huge ninjago fan I love this it’s jam packed with references and I love it also Dareth is the best part of the set he really justifies this set
It was a fun good build but it has nothing to do once you build it. It was very boring to play with it, and it does not give you a great value for how much it is.
This set is a small city within itself! The piece count of 6163 is staggering not to mention the 21 mini figures it comes with. At a price of USD 369.99 it’s a good deal. It lines up nicely with the Ninjago city gardens set which is the only other city set still available. The only slight issue is that the little restaurant on the third level of the markets doesn’t exactly cover the door of the green student apartment on the fourth level of the gardens. If it was moved to the right one stud it would look much better. This set will keep whoever builds it busy for hours and is one of the best Lego sets available right now. Would highly recommend!
This is among my favorite sets to have ever built. I am not versed at all in Ninjago lore or other media and yet still found a lot of novelty from the sheer volume of referential elements, stickers, and sub assemblies. I particularly like the congestion of the interiors insofar as it makes this set feel like a slice of a proper cyberpunk style city (capturing that classic Neon Hong Kong [1980s] feel) while definitely being its own little world. There are two points of concern which should be kept in mind before committing to getting this set. 1) There are 70 stickers. I have fun with stickers but this is quite a lot of difficult to fix chances for error. 2) I am not a fan of 1-stud connections. For modular structures this makes sense of course, but mid-assembly it makes building require more cautious and gentle hands and sub assembles can sometimes break. While I think putting 18+ on the box would have been overkill I don’t see how a child - even the intended 14+ year old - would have he patiences repeated for some steps in the build. Append: the water tiles are not boring or repetitive to do because they’re done between building other structures. If you got about 30 hours to gently and deliberately dedicate to model construction and want a top tier “doll house” kind of thing at the end then this is the set for you.
It's a good Lego set for the Ninjago Fan's with references to the show
It is great to build this set. The set is divided logically in 51bags. It didn't make me boring, during completing it. Sometimes I notice that designers, were using more bricks than needed, just to expand the total number of bricks. The only thing it bores me the building instructions. Sometimes is difficult to read correct color, because is so dark print and build picture is to much to center (where instructions pages are stick together) of book so you difficult to se all picture. I have previous set (Ninjago city gardens), which is for me better, but this one is more technical to build. I hope Lego will make next set to add on it to colection. Great job Lego. My new favourite lego set. the amount of hidden details there are and the playability with the cable car is amazing. great minifigs. I would recommend this set even if you aren't a ninjago fan
Amazing set!! Worth every penny. The detail is incredible and it fits together perfectly with docks, city and gardens!
So I have all 4 Ninjago modulars and I'll directly go to why I only gave it a 4 out of 5 because the positives are already stated in the other reviews. 1. Too many "hanging" connections. I call them hanging because they're only connected on one end and not supported on another or at least midway. 2. The black roof on the right side juts out and another modular can't be connected (unless it doesn't have an upper floor that'll hit it like the Garden's Pagoda). This can be remedied by taking out the said parts. I used my rack's small gap to separate them in my case. 3. The middle upper walkway is lacking. Maybe add a stall or two to spice things up. Anyway that's all! Will look forward to the next Ninjago modular!
I have been a Ninjago fan sense the the pilot season and this set dos not disappoint. all of the best function and minifigures that we have been wanting for year great job lego. please keep making Ninjago modulars
THIS SET is awsome! It has so many exclusive minifigures, ones that we wanted for YEARS! So many refrences and cameos and great building experiance. It looks incredible too. My favorite set in my collection 100% NOT TO MENTION THAT INCREDIBLE FLUSHING TOILET
I have all three sets and now building this fourth. So far I truly enjoy the 6,000+ pieces, but have found a couple of instances were pieces stay loose, held by only one knob. I always enjoyed the sturdiness of Lego sets, particularly Technic vehicles, and that all pieces fit securely and without any possible movement, except when designed for it.
My son was so grateful that I am a VIP member. The early access to purchase this build was important to him. The excitement when this set arrived was incredible. Overall he thinks it took him 20+ hours to build. He loves the flushable toilet, and the tram as well. The variety of figures is impressive! The set has a place of honor in his room. Even I like to play with the tram! I love the inclusion of wheelchair accessibility. I have never seen this before. Way to go Lego!
Really fun to build. Moving parts (wheelchair elevator and plumbing) are not working so well. To assemble with other Ninjago modular building sets you have to take a piece apart. But overall a great collection to play with!
