Really fun to build. There is easy step by step guides so you don’t mess up. The design is great but slightly flimsy. I found when trying to move it to its forever home a few bits fell off. Easy to put back but it’s not what you want. All building and characters have a lot of detail in them.
This LEGO NINJAGO Tournament Temple City set is an excellent choice for older kids and parents to enjoy together. With 3,489 pieces, it’s a longer and more adventurous build, but the clear instructions and organized bags make it manageable and fun rather than overwhelming. It’s a great way to spend quality, screen-free time as a family. Kids love all the interactive features like the moving battle platforms, water mill, secret doors, and falling rocks, while parents will appreciate how impressive it looks once completed. The set includes 13 NINJAGO minifigures, plus a dragon and airship, which keeps imaginative play going long after the build is finished. Designed for ages 14+, this is a fantastic build-and-display set that both kids and parents can be proud of. It tooks take up a bit of room once its on display. Building the Tournament Temple City felt like a real journey from start to finish. It definitely takes time, but that’s what makes it so enjoyable, because you get completely lost in the process. Watching the temple slowly come together piece by piece was incredibly satisfying, and it constantly sparked my imagination, from ninja battles to hidden paths and secret moments. The minifigures, dragon, small airship, and clever details throughout the build make everything feel alive and interactive. Once it’s finished, it’s just as fun to play with as it was to build, and it genuinely feels like more than just a LEGO set, it’s a creative experience that brings patience, imagination, and pure enjoyment together.
We really loved building this Lego, it took us (mum & 8year old) 11 hours and 7 minutes but was totally worth it. It was extremely detailed and at first the structure wasn’t very secure but as we added the sections it all started to become more sturdy. The build was hard, it took a lot of patience and detailed work but we loved every minute of it. I’ve never made a Lego structure this big before with 32 bags and 2 books which was a big task but built really well. The final result was clean crisp edges with a huge amount of detail.
An absolute amazing Lego set! It’s a big one with 3,489 pieces so takes time but is a joy to do. My kids love being able to build on it everyday. It comes with lots of mini figures to play with. The possibilities are endless when it comes to playing with this set. It’s a pricier Lego set but so worth it for the size. Highly recommend.
This set is so fun from the moment you open the box it feels like stepping straight into an action movie temple with just the right amount of goofy LEGO energy. Once assembled, Temple City is loud, busy, and full of little details that make you go “ohhh that’s sick.” The play value is high, there are hidden traps, cool mini figures, and legit room for imagination battles. It’s the kinda set that makes both kids and adults go FULL nerd mode. Quality? SOLID!!. Pieces click together like they’re sworn to protect the city. And let’s be real: anything that keeps me entertained longer than 10 minutes gets my stamp of approval. If you’re down for a build that feels like an adventure and not just a puzzle this is it. 💥🧱
I absolutely loved building this LEGO. Building it was a fun, relaxing experience, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s not just a fun set to build but also a fantastic display piece once completed. it’s a wonderful challenge for those who enjoy detailed LEGO sets. Definitely recommend it!
What a lovely build kept my daughter happy for hours….over 3,400 pieces. Comes with ninjago mini figures. Due to smaller pieces it is recommended for over 14s. Great value got the amount of time taken to build.

This is one of the best ninjago Lego sets. The set is actually kinda really annoying to build. The play expierence is very good especially combined with tournament battle arena 71818. Also I kinda wish this came with another temple like in the dragons rising tv show. And I would also like this set to come with a nokt minifigure like in the show but since I got this in June 2025 a nokt mini figure already came out. overall this set is good.
I have had my eye on this set since it first came out. In and out of the cart it went. Of course the price is a bit steep and is my only real major complaint and holdup. However, I finally caved in a bought it. I have really enjoyed putting this set together. Picked up on a few building techniques as well. The minifigure selection is fantastic. Finally got Mr. Pale! Ninjago is one of my favorite Lego themes and this set has not disappointed me. I look forward to connecting it up with my Tournament Temple Arena moc. So excited I finally got this set. If you can find a place in the budget to pick up the Tournament Temple City, I'd recommend it.
It was a geat build, it has some great secret passages. It has some great play features. this is definitely one of the best sets released this year.
