Gorgeous design with layers of detail.
First and foremost, Ninjago was never on my radar until the release of this set as well as the Cole Titan Mech. I'm a big fan of sets that have a complete displayable presence to them. Ninjago was able to pull that off with the modulars, but those are too big and too pricey. However! This set, strikes that perfect balance of being affordable yet so visually striking that you can just take a moment to admire the detail and design cues that went into the set. I really love this one, and it's positioned on my desk so that I can see it every day. Lego, keep up the good work!

Beautiful Set
This, for me, is a standout set for the Ninjago line. While most Ninjago location sets are primarily playsets, this one doubles as an exquisite display piece.
Its a nice, hefty, compact build for the number of pieces you get. The entire shape of it forms a circular pattern which just amazing. The blend of the tree build with the stone shrine build is seemless.
While there isn't much of it, there are a few play features thrown in for the younger audience to enjoy. But I really think this was a set with the adults in mind. I hope Lego comes out with more of these kinds of sets for Ninjago.

Great design & build
Not a Ninjago fan but when I saw this I was so impressed with the design that I had to buy it. It was a very enjoyable build and looks really good. The mini figures look good as well.

It's fun.
It's fun to build. The variety and compact size, despite the many pieces, are great. It's beautiful, but didn't impress as much as expected, given the accompanying photos.

Wonderfully New & Fresh
I am a huge fan of Lego Ninjago, But this set exceeded my own expectations & hype. The set is beautiful as a display piece, a very respectably sized set and with some small play features help the set feel good for younger kids and adults. While the price feels a little too high, the design and how great the set looks almost makes up for any flaw with the price.
